I have ordered online many times and have always received my items accurately as per my order. The delivery is pretty quick too. Their items are generally as described and fit well.
I have a lot of problems with this site, it's often down, and I can never access my Macy's credit card information. I have also noticed that exclusions on promotional codes have increased a lot.
I would vote them lower but I cannot. This company is the epitome of anti American and circumvents the constitutionally protected rights of Americans. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Try and sue ME, punks!
I just love shopping in their store as you can find the good stuff such as good china like Portmeirion, or Mikasa, Lenox, or Villeroy and Bosch, or Royal Albert! They have Correle and other kinds too if you want every day stuff. They have all the different kinfs of cookware you can imagine too. Clothing is no problem as they have a large selection of the most up to date things so you can buy in style! Babies to senior citizens csn find selections in abundance! Try their shop! Either go online or go see their store! You eill be glad you did! I was! Especially their china dinnerware line!
A very happy customer
This occurred twice on July 2,2023. Men were in the women's dressing room. I asked for security to remove, and was informed it is against Georgia law to ask someone to leave a dressing room. I was informed all dressing rooms are unisex, THERE IS NO SIGNAGE FOR THIS! This is a dangerous situation.

I purchased 4 rugs on line and I returned ALL 4 in person to customer service Topanga mall store within days of receiving them. When I received the statement there was no return shown. It's been a month and 6 telephone calls, about 1 hour each, and the problem has not been solved. Not only, but I am charged late charge for non-payment. The late charge part " seems" ( God knows) to have been solved today. Macys still did not credit my account for 2 of the 4 rugs.
I had a similar experience this past summer when I purchased 1 pair of shoes on line. I tried them on at the customer service desk, never left the store with them, and there was no record of the return. It took several phone calls to solve the issue. Here is MY statement: Macy's lost my business and my family's. I wake up in the middle of the night with heart palpitations thinking of my unsolved issue! Those palpitations pop-up during the day as well, I believe it is called anxiety! GOOD JOB, MACY'S! I have never been late paying my bills, EVER!
Macy's online was a bad experience for me; I purchased a pair of black boots online and paid with my credit card. One minute after I purchased the product, it disappeared from the store, and all I could see were boots that were green and brown. I was surprised; how could I purchase the last pair of boots that such a big store had? Well, it wasn't so. They indeed did not have these boots in black, and maybe did not even have them when I purchased them, alas they did take my money!
Macy's emailed me an invoice that read that everything was fine and dandy and that I'd receive the delivery within five days. They never emailed me another response. Only when I went online to my Macy's account I could see that this transaction did not go through and within one day they stated that it was canceled. Again- the money was still not in my credit card account.
I called my credit card company and they said that they could not release the money into my account because "the purchase was not clear". They asked me to wait. It has been five days since this transaction occurred and the money is still not being released into my account.
This is the last time I'm purchasing from Macy's. I purchased a pair of pants online before this last incident and the delivery came quite late. Overall- I am not happy with Macy's service. There is nobody to talk to on the phone, and they don't answer emails. If I could give them minus five stars, I would!
Juliette from the cosmetics counter was phenomenal. She was professional, friendly and managed to complete my purchase without it being her cosmetic counter. I was impressed with her.
Kleargear.com on their website falsely claims a BBB rating of A+. That is fraud since the best they had was a B before they attacked their own customer.
Made a recent purchase using Macys/AfterPay App. AfterPay took the first installment amount (which is what I signed up for) and Macys also took the full amount (almost $300) for the same purchase.
I've been calling Macys for the last 3 days and have spoken to at least 10 Customer-NON-service reps from Macys. That experience was like speaking to a bunch of Planet-Mars-Aliens.
The last response that I received from Macys yesterday was that Macys does an authorization hold for the full amount (What? Why?) and the full amount would be credited back to my bank account, but she didn't know WHEN!
My next steps are to make another attempt to contact Macys Corporate Headquarters, BBB, social media and more. I am demanding and explanation and when is my account going to be fully credited.
DO NOT BUY FROM MACYS.COM! They owe me $1800. 00 from a purchase I made of a watch. The box was not even opened! Also, they sent an email stating the watch was back ordered. We then had the option to cancel the order. WE DID! We should have never received the watch in the first place. DO NOT BUY FROM MACYS.COM Almost a month later, still no money! MACYS.COM ARE SCAM ARTISTS!
I order two perfumes from the website for a Christmas gift and didn't receive the order. The worst customer service I get when I ask about it. These people don't care about there customers
Finding the items I needed on the Macy's site was easy. My Customer service experience however was extremely unpleasant. My order was divided into 3 separate shipments. I received 2 or the 3 shipments without incident. My third shipment was not delivered. I called Customer service as the tracking information suggested. I spoke to a very robotic unpleasant rude customer service agent who's solution to my problem was to re-order the product and charge me a second time without even finding out what happened to the item I had ordered. He did not attempt to contact the shipper to clarify what happened to my package but instead wanted to charge me for a new order.
I requested a supervisor who told me they would wait 10 days to see if the item was returned and then and only then would they resend the item to me. I had already waited 6 days for the delivery and now they wanted me to wait another 10 days before they could re-order. Essentially a simple order would take at least 22 days to be delivered.
This left a very bitter experience with macy's online. Why would I want to do this again when I live less than 5 minutes from a macy's store?
I was excited at the convenience and had great plans for online ordering. If this is Macy's service policy re lost/undelivered items I will not be using this service in the future. Unfortunately they do not give you the option to choose the shipping company to use. That would make a difference.

I love shopping at Macy's. You cannot beat the quality and the plus size clothing is wonderful! I buy a little of everything from Macy's and have never had a problem.
Hi purchase almost 700 online and a pate extra to get my purchase at least for one or two business days after four days I called them and the lady who picked up the phone and said her name is Gabriella said you will receive your order four or five business days and I said I'm a passenger I will leave the country tomorrow and then I will be back next month and she said OK but you can ask your friend to return them if you don't want them, said I need them and she said OK so go buy it if you need that that was very rude and the customer service from Macy's it's awful
Let's talk about shopping on Macy's for this past Christmas. Due to the pandemic, I wanted to order my presents online and with plenty of time incase of issue. That being said, I placed a large order in early November. Every item shipped separately, which I didn't realize, because most things were coming directly from the vendor, which is cool because Macy's can offer free shipping and other discounts the vendor directly wouldn't. I was happy with the sales I received and to get a chunk of my Christmas shopping out of the way, but after tracking not updating for two weeks, I was informed some of my items were back ordered and there was an "infinite back order" meaning they have no clue when my item would get to me. I needed these items for Christmas and didn't feel like finding something else, so I waited, and waited, and waited. Just as I was about to cancel my order (a month later) I got a message saying my order was now confirmed and my items were shipped. It barely arrived in time for christmas, but I will say I'm glad it did, but very stressful and customer service was friendly, but not of much help. It was a little confusing to have everything ship at different times, so watch out for that. I'm not sure if they just weren't prepared around the holiday times or what, but it got a bit messy. I would suggest just buying in stores, but you can definitely find better promo codes and discounts on the website. Ultimately, just don't rely on getting your items by a certain date and you probably won't be as disappointed.
