Nike is a good, reliable source for shoes, especially athletic related. They can get pricey, but I've never had any problems with any shoes I've purchased from them, their quality, or customer service. Although, the clothing can be hit and miss. Items are constantly in and out of stock, and sales don't happen too often, but they are good when they do. Shipping is usually pretty quick as well! Overall, no complaints. If you live near a Nike Outlet location, do check there inventory before making a purchase if you don't have anything in specific you're looking for.

Tip for consumers:
Check out Nike Outlet stores! Also, you can get much better deals online vs in Nike store locations.

Journeys was overall an okay experience. I tried to place an order of Dr Marten Jadon platform boots online, and they said they were out of stock, so I made a trip to my nearest store, who didn't have them in my size but was able to order them for me. This is a more popular shoe, so I understand stock running out, but I was confused as to why I couldn't order them on my end but they could on theirs. I was happy I was still able to get them, as they were one of the only places to get them at the time when I ordered, and the store associates were very friendly, but the only option was ship back to the store. It was an inconvenient process, with a lot of back and forth, but I ended up with the shoes I was after so at the end of the day, I'm happy.

Shopping at DSW online has been nothing but a disaster. I recently tried to order a pair of shoes, and I tried ordering the same thing TEN different times and all of my orders were cancelled despite the item showing in stock. Customer service was nice, but not at all helpful and gave me empty promises about my item shipping. I finally gave up, and ordered a different pair, and tracking was inaccurate and showed different delivery dates every place I checked. Shop in store locations if at all.

I've had mixed (mostly positive) reviews buying clothes off Poshmark, as it does depend on the individual seller, but it's rough to make sales on as a seller. I've had items listed for months on here that don't budge, yet sell within the week on other resell apps. There's a lot of spammy content, since they have certain badges, etc., such as people commenting asking you to check out what they're selling. They also take hefty fees when (if) items do sell. Stick to making purchases on here.

Look elsewhere to sell your clothes, but it's great for buying.

Dollskill is one of those places that is at a consistent level of reliability. Shipping is pretty quick, and there's usually not any problems with my order. The sale category can have you finding pretty great deals as well. The only reason for 4 stars is because if you need to return something, they either charge you a shipping fee or only offer store credit, which is okay if you just need to exchange for a different size. Fix your return process!

Goodwill is the one thrift store I will always avoid. They take your donations, and then sell them at an extremely marked up price. Every time I've gone, it looks like they're selling trash on the shelves, such as a 2/3 used candle for $3. The owner is very rich at the expense of people who don't have it as well off. I wish they at least gave back to those who need it in some way like they claim they do. Old stained t-shirts for $6 just don't cut it.

Amazon is one of those places that no matter what, you'll keep shopping at because there isn't any other alternatives. It's cheap, convenient, and one of a kind, and even help you get discounts grocery shopping. That being said, you'd expect a huge company such as Amazon to be more honest to the consumer (actually, probably not lol). Items that show up as Amazon prime before checking out sometimes come well past the delivery guarantee, some items have delayed shipping, charge more for shipping when it's suppose to be free with prime, or come from questionable third party sellers. I once ordered an expensive electronic item from what ended up being a third party seller, and after returning it following Amazon's policy, the seller took 25% of the cost and claimed heavy usage, body damage, and scratched lenses when in reality, the lenses cap never came off and it was only looked over, then I realized it didn't have an attachment outlet needed, and I shipped it back within a day. Even the packaging was more secure than it was originally sent to me in. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, Amazon customer service was amazing, and although we had to go through the process of having the seller deny my additional refund, Amazon took over and make sure I received my full refund. Customer service is hit or miss though, sometimes they aren't very helpful. Despite the pros and cons, I'll keep shopping at Amazon due to convenience and price alone.

If you ever get an unhelpful customer service representative, disconnected and try again with someone else.

Let me start by saying, I absolutely love princess polly. They always have the trendiest and cutest selection of clothing, and often have hard to get styles of items. They do have a lot of good items run out of stock, so if you're considering something, buy it ASAP! I recently ordered a pair of shoes from here, and the packaging was not great, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. For the price I pay, I would have expected better packaging. The thin poly mailer they used was ripped open and the box was smashed. Customer service could definitely improve as well, but they ended up refunding me a portion of my purchase since the shoes were out of stock and I couldn't exchange them for another pair with a box in better condition. I think an honest review would be 5/5 for their clothing selection, and 3/5 for packaging and customer service, which is why I met in the middle at 4 stars. Would love to see improvement from them!

Tip for consumers:
Items on their site sell out quick, so make sure and be on top of it when buying especially if it’s a trendier item!

AliExpress is a tricky website to shop. You get budget friendly versions of some of the expensive, trendy clothing items, but quality, ship time, etc. can all depend on the seller. You HAVE to do your own research for each and every shop you buy from, and also check reviews from other people for quality, sizing, more accurate ship time, and those things. It will take a while to ship no matter what (I think my items took upwards of 2-3 months), because as far as I know, and at least to the United States, it comes cargo. I did get some quality pieces, and I'm overall happy with what I did get, but I spent a long time looking into each "seller" I bought from. I only had issues with one, where I received a dress I didn't order instead of the one I did, and I was refunded and got to keep the other dress, and although I never did end up getting the one I originally ordered, I wasn't out any money and actually got something for free out of it. I do recommend paying with Paypal, as I did, because they will protect your purchases if anything does happen and the seller does give you a hard time. Actual clothing and item reviews are on my Youtube channel, where I give my further honest thoughts about my experience.

Tip for consumers:
Check reviews of each seller as well as individual product reviews, do not buy a product that doesn't have reviews or reviews that include pictures.

I ordered from Pretty Little Thing once, and it wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either. I didn't have any problems with my specific order, but I do feel like it's cheap quality for the prices they have. Don't buy anything unless it's on sale, as most things usually are. They also seem to price higher just to seem like they have better sales. The item I got fit well, but just seemed a bit overpriced. I can't say I would be confident with the customer service if I did have any issue though.

I recently bought from Verishop while Christmas shopping and they were absolutely wonderful. My order arrived very quickly, which surprised me especially during the holidays as well as during a pandemic on top of that. They were the cheapest price for the item I was looking for, which was a bonus as well. My item was also wonderfully packaged. Based off this experience, I would definitely recommend shopping with them!

Check for coupon codes! They usually have one you can find.

I've ordered from Morphe multiple times, and to sum it up, just hope you don't have any problems with your order. I was sent faulty brushes once (they were in horrible condition and frayed), and Morphe wouldn't exchange, refund, or send new ones. They also charge I believe $7 (shipping price) to send an item back, even if it is their mistake. I have avoided Morphe after these two experiences and don't expect myself to shop on their website again anytime soon. I recommend shopping in store if you have a location near you.

I love Reformation. They are sustainable, and also carry very cute clothing. As with most places that are better for the environment, they are a bit pricier than some places. That being said, I love how they always offer free shipping, exchanges, and returns, and also have great customer service. These things make them stand out from other similar shops and almost make me feel like spending a bit more can be justified. So far, their quality is great as well.

This review is only about the ship to store option, I have done curbside pickup before, as well as ship to my house and there has been no problem at all. Multiple weeks ago, I placed an order online, and it gave me to option to ship to my house, or ship to the store for free (no shipping charges). I chose to ship to the store, since I have a location nearby, and let's just say, I have no clue what's going on with my package or when it will arrive. There is no way to track it, it just says "in transit," yet it was originally. Said to arrive at the store by a certain date, which has passed. After they took the money out of my account, I haven't heard anything else. Be cautious when choosing this option, because if I had known it would be this complicated just to figure out where my items are, or when I will be receiving them, I would have just gone to the store myself or paid for shipping.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use the ship to store option! You won't be able to track your items.

Let's talk about shopping on Macy's for this past Christmas. Due to the pandemic, I wanted to order my presents online and with plenty of time incase of issue. That being said, I placed a large order in early November. Every item shipped separately, which I didn't realize, because most things were coming directly from the vendor, which is cool because Macy's can offer free shipping and other discounts the vendor directly wouldn't. I was happy with the sales I received and to get a chunk of my Christmas shopping out of the way, but after tracking not updating for two weeks, I was informed some of my items were back ordered and there was an "infinite back order" meaning they have no clue when my item would get to me. I needed these items for Christmas and didn't feel like finding something else, so I waited, and waited, and waited. Just as I was about to cancel my order (a month later) I got a message saying my order was now confirmed and my items were shipped. It barely arrived in time for christmas, but I will say I'm glad it did, but very stressful and customer service was friendly, but not of much help. It was a little confusing to have everything ship at different times, so watch out for that. I'm not sure if they just weren't prepared around the holiday times or what, but it got a bit messy. I would suggest just buying in stores, but you can definitely find better promo codes and discounts on the website. Ultimately, just don't rely on getting your items by a certain date and you probably won't be as disappointed.

To start, there has been multiple times I've placed an order on pacsun.com that included an item that qualified for free shipping (stated on their current "coupons & promotions" page) and found out later I actually was charged for shipping. Customer service has always fixed this, but getting through to someone is always very difficult and if you reach out on social media, they say you have to call. Shipping takes a while, and it doesn't update for a few days, or will be stuck in processing. I've waited upwards of a month to receive an item I ordered a few months back and customer service didn't help, but I ended up getting it later on thankfully. I've also had an item cancelled for being "out of stock" but then when I went back on the website they are in stock and available to purchase. Quality is decent, depending on what you buy, but sometimes I get items a week later and sometimes a month later. Purchasing and shipping is very inconsistent and if shipping was free, I'd understand but it's frustrating to have to pay for shipping and then still have to wait weeks.

I want to start by saying, with the current pandemic, I completely understand and expect less staff, production, etc. but I still expect brand transparency. My mom originally ordered an item for me for Christmas, and it was said to be on backorder and ship by a date that would have arrived by Christmas. Weeks later, when it was said to ship, it was cancelled altogether and she was never sent it. I ended up being able to order my item after Christmas, and it was backordered for another few weeks but it finally shipped out, but I'm still waiting on arrival. Not every item is updating with day to day tracking, it just says expected delivery date. Also, I have previously ordered items and the same order was sent in multiple shipments. Urbanoutfitters.com is currently a complete mess, and shipping is pricey to not be able to accurately track. I recommend order pickup or if you can, just going to the store to shop until they can get everything figured out. It will save you the stress of wondering if your items are actually coming or not, trust me.

Expect shipping to take much longer than normal.
