Ordered some home decor. Good price/ quality. Shippingcosts are okay. Only one negative thing: Customs in other country. They don't give the opportunity to pay this while checking out but this happends a lot. I will buy again in this shop.
Last but not least: be careful and look to other webshops because it's possible to buy the same things a lot cheaper.
Costumer service canceled my online items because in the past UPS did not deliver it to my address. I have a camera that shows no body brought anything. Now I can not purchase online again because Macys will not let me. Terrible, I feel so offended by this company and I have years of purchase history. All my payments are on time. Shame!
On August 20,2024 I placed an order for a blue pair of Levi's® Women's Classic Mid Rise Straight-Leg Jeans and a black pair of Levi's® Women's Classic Mid Rise Straight-Leg Jeans. Instead of sending me what I ordered, they sent me the blue jeans and a denim trucker jacket instead of the black jeans.
On August 25,2024, I called customer service. I was told they would send me the black pair of jeans, and I would not have to return the jacket I didn't order. On August 27,2024 I received yet another stupid denim trucker jacket. Again. I did not order it. NO BLACK JEANS.
On August 28,2024, I called customer service a third time. They wanted to send out yet another pair of "black jeans" (aka trucker jacket). I refused it as I did not want a THIRD jacket. So I asked for a refund. Unfortunately, I was told that *I* would have to return the two trucker jackets that I did not order. So between the original order, unpacking jackets I did not order, lots of time talking to customer service, and packing this crap, I have already wasted two hours of my time. Now they want me to waste even more time.
What did I learn by this experience? 1) Macy's hires the worse of the worst. People who are obviously are not "clear minded on the job". This applies to both the warehouse and customer service. 2) Because Macy's hires a LOW quality workforce, expect to, as a customer, have to spend your time cleaning up their mess. Want to see a movie with the kids? Nope, sorry, expect to spend at least two hours calling their customer service, running to the post office with returns, opening packages of stuff you never ordered. I will never buy from them again. Once is a mistake, twice incompetence, and the least they could have done was have UPS pick up the jackets THEY sent me in error instead of forcing me, the customer, to be further inconvenienced. Luckily JCP and Kohl's are great alternatives.
My husband bought a reversible belt in July, 2023. It was the 2nd purchase of this belt, because he had faith in Macys. Even when the first belt turned out to be poor craftsmanship, he was willing to give them a second chance. The second belt was no better than the first and the dual sides quickly separated. We went to Macys Customer Service Chat and were immediately shut down because the belt defect didn't appear within 30 days (Macys' policy). So disappointed with Macys.
Is not the first time I bought a perfume in Macys at it is fake. Few days ago I bought two perfumes, Blue (Channel) and Sauvage (Dior). Today I opened my Sauvage and is fake! Smell horrible, like a cheap perfume, smell a alcohol. When I called Macys customer service they told me sorry, they cant do anything. My last time to buy something in Macys
Due to my job, I move a lot. When I am in countries with expensive clothes, I prefer to shop online and Macy's helps me to buy designer clothes for very attractive prices, that I enjoy. But, some of my orders were messed up - wrong color shirt for example. Also some times I got few items less because they were actualy out of stock (but website tols that they were available). But their international shipping by DHL is very fast and not so expensive, and the prices are realy good so my overall experience is good.
I have never been happy with Macys. People who worked there do not want to work there. They are unionized and some think they just need to show up and work 2 hours out of 8 and that is OK. I was a Xmas wrapper there once. Yikes.
After the internet sales start to climb I have not shop there. But every time I go in I wonder why I even came in to shop there in the first place!
I still love Thanksgiving Parade and all the old timers and old people still shop here so I want them to survive. But they really need a new brand make over fast!
I retuned some things back to Macy's and they have not refunded my money on my Macy's card. Approximately $1000
I have called them on the phone many times and they put me on hold for a few minutes then they hang up on me.

I paid nearly £80 for a Coast dress that was cream in colour and a UK size 10. They posted a shabby black dress (I can't tell you how awful it was!) that would fit a 6 year old child.
Kept telling me to be patient and they would refund me eventually. Scumbags. Steer well clear...

Two days ago, place order for shoes as Christmas gift for my wife. Order went thru and charged my card. Shortly after email stating one item was removed. Asked if still wanted the rest of item, I acknowledge yes.
Check my card, they charge my card again.
Today I made to online purchase of two different orders. One order went through.
The other acknowledge the charge, Shortly after it email saying it was canceled.
Check iT was trying to show pickup was in Oregon, not Woodlands, Tx.
I reorder making sure it was here, something happened. Check my card and low and behold, I had two charges, totally $400.00. Call customer service and went through all the verification and they wanted to place the order again and charge my card again. They said it will refund you in 7,-10 days it be ok. No after 3-bad charges on my credit card for $600.00 by Macy's, it NOT OK.
Do not do Business with them, they do not care about you. It sales numbers for them!
Purchase was to come with free gift if purchased online. Did not happen & the excuse was as long as their supplies lasted!
Next online order November 30th, emailed CS many times, always in transit. CS on Christmas eve told me I did not receive it & they get with me in the next 24 hours! One of my finds missed Christmas because of "Failure" of Customer Service to do their job. Plenty of time to make it right... They just don't care! Never... Never shop online with them!
I return item to Macys by mail, they send me email that they received and I get my money back in 3-5 days. Two weeks later no refund, so I call, the person I spoke to promised me refund in 3 days. No refund, I call 5 times even spoke to supervisor still no money. It's been all most a month.
I wanted to buy bed frames and mattresses for my father (I knew what I wanted) but the transaction took hours.
1- you need to talk to a person CAN'T order on line
2- Macy's policy (at least in December) is to REFUSE to accept your credit card.
So then you need more extra steps with waiting at each point.
3- Contact your credit card company to confirm order
4- then wait on phone queue to give Macy's your card number AGAIN.
So much harder than necessary.

I used to LOVE Macy's INC brand. Most of my wardrobe contained INC clothes, but the last few years, the designs are terrible. I wish they would go back to their old designers. I haven't liked one INC item in the last 2 years, whereas I used to purchase thousands of dollars worth. Several of my friends have said the same thing.
I was gifted an e-gift card, but I can't access it. I called the support line four times before getting any help. First the call was dropped, then I was redirected to a local store, then I was told that I couldn't be helped because I didn't purchase the card.
I purchased a dinnerware set from Macy's. The company that Macy's used to send the purchase included their website, open to public. They were charging half the price for the same items. Macy's refused a price adjustment. Buyer beware!
I ordered a wallet in Nov 2015, they sent me children's clothing by mistake. It took approx 6 weeks to pick the wrong package up & they refused to give me a refund until they got their items back (which they didnt even know they had sent if i didnt tell them!) Anyway after constant emails chasing this up & leaving complaints, they FINALLY issued my refund in Feb 2016! Awful experience, do not use Macys to shop online! I used to love going into Macys when in the US but this experience has meant I will not be returning.
Macys shipping and customer service is awful. Do NOT order from them if you do not have 3-4 weeks to wait for your items. Upon calling customer service they do not listen and basically read from a script. They do not think outside the box. I had to give them multiple options to try and I was already talking to a manager! I needed items for trip and they insulted me by asking if a 15% discount would make me happy after I explained the delay in the items means I won't have it for a trip and no longer need the items. They talked in circles for over an hr. I will NEVER again order from this store. They act like they are doing business 20yrs ago. I'm sticking with AMAZON!
I recently opened a new card at macy's and they run my credit without notifying me. I got an email from Experian that macys has run my credit which affects my credit score and went down. This was UNSAT. I tried to call macys credit claim many times to solve the issue, Credit claim was close most of the times or I got ignorant unprofessional customer service and was with no help.
I ordered a University of Tennessee hoodie for my daughter, for a Christmas present, on 11/23/23. The package arrived on 11/30/23, but was an entirely different item. Contacted Customer Service on 11/30/23 and was told they would send the correct item and asked that I return the incorrect item. The replacement item was under the same order number and tracking number (USPS). The confirmation email I received stated the item would be delivered on 12/5/23…but it never arrived. Contacted Customer Service again on 12/6/23 and the person couldn't find where the replacement item had been sent or even processed. After about 20 minutes on hold with the representative, he finally said he "found" the replacement order and it would be delivered on 12/6/23 by UPS. It, of course, never arrived. He couldn't find a tracking number for it or any other information. I definitely will NEVER order anything from Macy's again, nor will I ever shop in one of their stores.
