I am so disappointed with Macy's customer service. It takes forever to get ahold of someone, then they make a ton of excuses why they cannot refund your money within a timely manner. Apparently, I bought 3 dozen dishes from different "vendors" and it takes them 2 weeks to approve the refund. I also bought a sweater from Macy's and it shows up in a blue and not a pink! I didn't have the sense of humor to deal with that. Anyways, I thought Macy's would be way better than Amazon, but no, they are not. Very disappointed.
I have been a customer for many years. There have been mix ups in shipments but nothing major. Recently I ordered several items. I received partial shipment and one box had shirts that I didn't order. Just random men's shirts when I ordered make up. Because my mail service signed for the package Macy's has refused to even investigate the possibility of theft in their fulfillment center.
Beware when ordering online product! Their customer service is hard to get ahold of and reaching corporate is impossible.
You may not get what you ordered. I ordered nearly 200 dollars worth of make up and now that will end up costing me double that to get the items I needed.
These guys are outrageous - just read the terms of use from their website- this is my particular favorite: " Pricing Policy:
Klear Gear will do everything to keep our prices competitive with our competition so you will feel confident doing business with us, and that you are getting the product for THE best price. With regards to typographical errors or errors in pricing, we reserve the right to refuse to sell a product to a customer at a price on our site that may be priced wrong." Purchased a suitcase online during a sale that was fairly priced. I was happy to receive it and was upset when I took it out the box. I examined it closely to notice that there was a zipper located on the inside that was missing the handle. Upon further examination I noticed that a security tag is still attached... They are very rude when you call the customer service phone number, she started raising her voice to the point where she was yelling.
Love going to the mall and shopping at the larger stores like Macy's. Especially at holidays or for a special occasion. You can usually find better quality and something you love every time you shop. Prices are usually great with sales on everything.
They turned down my credit card application with me having a credit score of 822 that is a joke their employees don't know how to read credit score and they don't know who they should grand the credit too and they are a very cheep company because if you buy from them on line you have to pay any shipping charges in order to return any merchandise to them
I received a can opener today from Macy's with someone else's name and address on it due to them returning it and they just slapped my name on the box and sent it out. They didn't bother to repackage or anything the box was totally destroyed with the blade hanging outside the box and on top of that it looked old. The magnet looked crusty and the toaster was dirty. I'm so over these retailers they just want our money at any cost, quality has gone way down. I'm done with Black Friday never again. Black Friday means get all the used items on sale as they get rid of old merchandise. Shame in Macys next time I'm going to an Amazon outlet store might as well! Higher disappointed and I ordered two roasting pans and they looked full size on the website but when they arrived looked miniature, here they go again. Not ordering from Macys online anymore.
Ordered a suitcase 12/31/23, after several confusing emails, the order is backlogged. Called customer service 01/08/24 to cancel since there is no possible date of delivery. No confirmation received for cancellation, today another email saying order is coming but no date. Will call again tomorrow. This is insane.
They included an incomplete address with the package although the address was correct in the online order. Now they won't reship the item and it takes forever to get a refund. They don't care about the customer.
I ordered a pickup item from the nearest Macy's store. After waiting several days and not receiving an invitation to pick up, I called support. They told me that the item was not in the store and they would be happy to send it to me by mail for free and quickly. I agreed. After waiting another week and not seeing any movement, I called support again. There, instead of finding my item, they asked me several times for my personal data, my husband's data, countless times, they confused the numbers on my order - they don't understand the word zero. They were very rude to me and shouted at me if they tapped out the numbers incorrectly. In the background of my interlocutor, children's screams and the clinking of iron utensils could be heard. This is how they conduct customer support. Terrible and disgusting
Extremely poor customer service. I purchased a gift card over 2 months ago. Paid cash for it and the card was never activated by them, so I am unable to use it. I have called, sent emails to no avail. No response and no resolution to this problem. Am seriously considering never shopping with them again!
I mostly buy on line and Macy's is the best. High quality, great styles and prices that I can live with. Their choices are the best and it's tough to keep from buying from them. Once you see the choices it's hard not to keep on buying. It seems that all I do is buy. You don't want my Macy's card it's almost full up, ahh poor me, going on line again, bye.
I ordered a set of pots that was supposed to be delivered on the 25th of March. They were delivered to the wrong address. I have been emailing back & forth with the contact service. The service department basically told me to go ask my neighbors that my package had been delivered. I paid my money and never received what I paid for. I also told them that I have ring cameras all around my house and no one even attempted to deliver anything. The company is not trying to make good. I am out of my hard earned money! You don't ever have to worry about me shopping here ever!
Customer service is awful. I ordered a sofa 2 months ago, the time of delivery I called them and they say sorry the company doesn't sell that to us any more and now this is canceled! They did not even bother themselves to call me.
The good news is I haven't agreed to ANYTHING with Klearger.com so I can write what I feel. They sold goods and didn't deliver them. Then they were going to charge $50 for items not delivered (order was cancelled when items were not received). No communication with their customers about items not delivered - just a $50 fee charged. Then when this situation was discussed in public - the company is fining the customer over $3,000. FAIL. Bad business practices. Bad customer service. Shame on Klearger.com!
If this is true, (a) the credit card processors should drop them like a bad habit for unethical behavior, and (b) any lawyer who assists a company with this type of behavior should be severely sanctioned.
Macy's is at the top of my list when I am looking for good value a decent prices. Their merchandise is pretty much top of the line. I generally do not leave Macy's without some sort of purchase. Clothes is the number one item on my shopping list, so much to choose from, quality and style, that's Macy's
Macy's has always had my favorite store to shop at, but they closed the one that was closest to my home. So, I order online. On the website, it stated that the shoes were true to size, but, when they arrived, I tried them on and they were too small. I didn't want to go through the hassle of shipping them back. My intentions were to return them in person. Six months went by, and I was working in the are where there's a Macy's. I tried to return them, but was told they would have to issue a store credit, because I didn't return them within the 37 day return policy. They offered to refund me $14.83 for a $60 pair of shoes. I asked if I could exchange them for a bigger size and was told "no." Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Macy's anymore, due to their poor customer service.
Have ordered items for my bed and bath and beauty items. Love the quick response and delivery time. Ease of returning to my local store if not satisfied with product is a plus. All items ordered have been of good or exceptional quality. Have only returned one item and that is only because I did not care for the pattern of the bedspread once received. Would recommend Macy's to all.
I've been falling into rabbit holes for hours & hours and still not able to solve my issue with MACY'S. The customer services are super slowwwwwwwwww and never picking up. Once they do picked up my call they are annoyed at me and just transfer me to other number. Rabbit holes! Macy's should expend their lines and educate their employees to become better service. Don't want to deal with this low-tech system anymore in 2020!
