After reaching out to customer service I was pleasantly surprised with how quick and easy to work with the company is!
The dress we got from the is great quality and looks amazing.
I usually never write reviews, but I am so disappointed by this brand that I felt I absolutely had to.
I saw a girl on TikTok wearing one of these dresses, and I thought it was so cute that I had to get one too, and I am HORRIBLY shocked by the quality and sizing. First, the dress is WAY too short (and I'm only 5'3"), made of super scratchy material that feels low quality, and seems to be intended for very thin people. The impression I get is that this brand is targeted towards very young/teenage girls.
My biggest complaint is the ZIPPER. It keep getting stuck, there is no hook at the top to help slide the zipper, and it does not budge once it's stuck. As I'm typing this I'm currently stuck in the dress because the zipper simply will not move (I've even tried just ripping the dress at this point). It is not a sizing problem since there is still plenty of room. I will never be wearing or ordering from here again. It's no wonder that they do not allow customer reviews on the site itself.
I never bought a dress online before so I was kind of nervous. I needed it by this Saturday and I got it Monday! True to size and I love it! Fits so well, very comfortable, and affordable!
I ordered a dress and it didn't tell me it was out of stock so i had to message the company to find out that it was out of stock. This was a month later and now i have no dress for my occasion
Costumer support (Elizabeth R) was super helpful! She helped me pick out a dress and made sure that I got the correct size. She also helped me make sure my dress would come on time for my dance!
When I reached out inquiring when the dress would arrive, the said it wasn't in stock and cancelled my order. Yet they continue to sell the dress on their site... :((

They RUINED my daughter's homecoming! My daughter order two dresses TWO MONTHS in advance of her homecoming, shipping date of September 19th. She had to email the company (2 weeks before homecoming dance) when she didn't get a shipment confirmation. The response she received told her they were experiencing a recent increase in volume of website orders, NOT HER PROBLEM as she had placed her order August 19th, and that they make all styles in house and the styles she selected were delayed! We are currently dealing with their bull$#*! of STORE CREDIT instead of an actual refund, her order NEVER SHIPPED! I would guess based on their $#*!ty customer service, which is all through email, the dresses were never made. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR ORDER! SCAM SCAM SCAM!

My order was back ordered and they gave me multiple options for my order and then gave me a store credit for the hassle of the dress being back ordered. Would highly recommend shopping here!
Lucy in the sky is the most ridiculous website i have EVER ordered from. I ordered my dress MORE THAN a MONTH before I needed it and it wasn't even shipped the day it was supposed to be delivered. I emailed them twice, DM'd them, and commented on their instagram posts. If you need a reliable website, this is NOT it! I canceled my card because they were not answering me about shipping my dress or refunding me. I was so looking foward to the dress and it didn't even make it in time for my homecoming.
I received the dress two days after I ordered it and it was in great condition. The sizing was accurate and the price was reasonable. Super satisfied and will be purchasing from Lucy in the Sky again
I sent an email about an issue I was having with my account, and they responded quickly and were professional. Turns out I just had a misunderstanding with my account and it was quickly resolved.
I really wanted to love this company and I'm sure the dresses are great but the customer service as well as the shipping are awful.
When my dress didn't arrive by the latest estimated delivery date I emailed the company. As it turns out it had not even been shipped yet as they did not even have it in stock when I purchased it. As this dress was for a time sensitive occasion I was absolutely floored that the company would just sell me a dress and not mention on the website that I was basically preordering it for when they had it back in stock. Which I obviously would not have done if I had known it would restock more than a month after I ordered it. I feel absolutely mislead thinking I was ordering my dress two months early to make sure it fit and such, just to find out it won't even be arriving until a mere few days before.
I'm incredibly disappointed that to boot the customer service was so short with me and only offered a 25 dollar credit for future purchases but wouldn't credit it to the dress. So when you're unhappy they basically just give you money to spend with them so you order again. That to me is simply not customer service, and I will not be buying from them again as there are plenty of places that are actually transparent with the customer nor would I reccomend the company to a friend. Just not reliable.
I am so angry with this stupid company. I ordered a few dresses to try on with the intention of returning the ones I didn't like. Apparently I didn't read the fine print... they will only give me STORE CREDIT. I emailed the company explaining my misunderstanding and how I would like to return the extra dresses I bought. Mind you, this was only two days after receiving them in the mail. Being that they are completely unworn and still in original packaging, I didn't think this would be a huge issue. Well... the customer service people were EXTREMELY unhelpful and unaccommodating. They are refusing to give me my money back which is literally stealing. No, I don't want your stupid store credit. Their clothes and dresses are cheap material and very uncomfortable. Not to mention, I have ordered from them in the past and they took so long to send it the clothes came AFTER the event I really needed it for. I should have learned my lesson the first time. I could not be more disappointed with this company. There are HUNDREDS of better places to order clothes and dresses from. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I ordered a dress for my bachelorette. I told them I needed it nay a certain date and it was promised in email and online when I purchased it, that it would arrive in time. I hadn't received a tracking number for 3 weeks and started to worry, I reached out to the company. They said there was a production delay and told me it wouldn't arrive for another two weeks. They said I could find another dress to exchange it with. All of their dresses wouldn't arrive in time, since we were three weeks closed to my bachelorette. I expressed the stress they caused and they did nothing to solve the problem. I would've never ordered from this site if I would have known how awful their process was. DO NOT BELIEVE THE DATE YOU SEE BEFORE YOU CHECK OUT! I now have four days to find a dress due to this business.

I ordered a dress back in April, a month in advance from my graduation ceremony. I made sure the expected delivery date worked for me before purchasing as well. After asking about my shipping status multiple times, I was told it was arriving late and they proceed to tell me they wanted to cancel my order. Given that my graduation ceremony was days away, I said that was fine and asked for a refund since I wouldn't be needing the dress. The next day out or curiosity I asked them on Instagram why my order was canceled and they literally took the time to screenshot my entire conversation with them on Instagram and send it back to me and said, "you're the one who asked for a refund". Which was of course wrong. I only asked for a refund AFTER they recommended me to cancel it. Long story short, they were very rude on Instagram and seemed like they just wanted to continue arguing with me. No professionalism whatsoever.
Also if you go on their Instagram and look at their comments, they delete comments where customers who are concerned are asking about their orders/refund etc. Super sketchy if you ask me. Will never buy from them again.
I ordered my dress literally over 2 weeks ago and it says the max SHIPPING wait was 5-10 days PLUS the extra 1-4 days you have to wait for it to ACTUALLY COME. It's been 14 days and I haven't received $#*! and I've contacted their $#*!ty customer service MULTIPLE times and they didn't answer after 3-4 days... AFTER the last person told me that my dress would ship "the next day". After 4 days they finally answered my email (after me emailing so many times, texting AND dming) They replied basically telling me my dress wasn't coming for ANOTHER TWO WEEKS. And my hoco is literally next week. $#*! lucy and they only give store credit as ur "refund". NOT WORTH IT!
I can only review this company's customer service which was by far the worst I have experienced even considering the issues we've had with the recent supply chain problems. We ordered a dress on 9/16 for a 10/15 event. The delivery timeframe was 9/30-10/12 and while it was close, we took the chance. Beginning on 9/30, when the company had don't nothing but take our money, no shipment emails had come, I emailed to ask what the status was. This was for a young lady's first ever High School homecoming dance and we wanted it to be special. Anyway, I sent 4 emails leading up to the event on 15th and literally DID NOT GET ONE RESPONSE... nothing. I even asked them to just tell me if they would not be able to meet the delivery timeframe promised so we could shop for a back up dress and NOTHING. I have never been so blatantly ignored by a company.
Needless to say we found an alternative dress, canceled this order and will never order from this company again which is too bad because they are made in America (I think?) and have a good selection (but who knows about their quality). If you decide to order from this company, make sure you have OVER a MONTH to get your item.

I expected that this store would not be very good because I saw it on Instagram and I thought the cheaper dresses wouldn't be nice. But I bought one and was very pleased.
I love so many of these dresses just make sure to size up because the dresses run small. Also i wish that theyd make the dresses just a little bit longer.
I ordered this dress to wear for my birthday and it looks absolutely nothing like the photo. My first time ordering from Lucy in the Sky and feel completely scammed. What I wanted was this light green looking dress in this photo and instead what I received is the ugliest, horrendous NEON GREEN dress. In the picture it also makes the dress look fitted and even the neckline is completely different. Their sizing chart is also misleading and this dress is wayyyyyy too big. Return policy is an absolute joke, I want a full refund for *******@Lucyinthesky, I should not have to mail this in for "store credit" I never want to order from y'all again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE EVER. I never write reviews but this had to be said!
