In years past I have purchased from Loving the Classics many times and all has gone well. Something has changed and now the company appears to have collapsed. I made a larger order 2 months ago, received email confirmation, but nothing since. Of course the phone number listed on my confirmation is now out of service, and when you call the number on their web site, no one answers. It appears this company has gone out of business, taken my money, and run.
I placed an order on the 1 October 2019 and payment was accepted and despite numerous emails to the "organization" the order has not been shipped. A lady called Jennifer did respond and promised to dispatch my order as a matter of urgency, to date that has not occurred. Emails to them are just not responded to.
The company is essentially practicing theft. It is now September 2020 nearly 12 months ago.

Just an update. After more than 18 months of silence -- and after they took my money -- I received an email stating they could not fulfil my order and offering me a "credit" for the amount I paid. The credit expires May 31. Of course, I wrote back demanding a refund, not a credit. Since then, not a word. Do not trust these people hiding behind the "small business" label. I work with dozens of small businesses. They don't steal money like these frauds.

You can find rare films here that you can't find anywhere else. They are pretty slow to ship orders and don't always respond in a timely manner, but eventually the order gets shipped. The quality of the DVDs is reasonable for rare DVD-R movies.
I ordered a DVD from this joke of a company more than three months ago Not only have I not received the title, my credit card has been charged on two separate occasions, under two separate names for this company From what I've been able to see online, they have at least four different addresses and phone numbers listed. Any attempts at contact via email will be ignored. Do yourself a solid favor and stay away from this circus, they will absolutely scam you and steal your money. There's over 100 complaints on the BBB website for these people, and I included one today for running a scam. I wish I had seen this website sooner.
Like all the other reviews below, I placed an order for one item, was charged immediately, and after several weeks, I haven't received the item. I had placed one item in my cart but didn't finalize the order. However, I was charged for that item, and then charged again a week later. Nothing has been sent. In fact, the status of my order on their website is "in shipping queue." I don't appreciate being charged for items that haven't been sent - and they never will be. Do NOT order from this company. You will NEVER get your money back, I'm sorry to say.

Ordered a dvd from Loving the Classics; amount was debited from my Paypal account but I never received a confirmation of the order. After four emails requesting confirmation, and three phone calls, I have had absolutely no response from the company confirming that I indeed have an order with them, despite the debit. Frustrated, I searched online and discovered that they have a terrible reputation. Will contact Paypal to pursue refund.
Folks, I am telling you that this company is a sham! The dvds are terrible quality and if placing a mail order, you have to wait a million years to receive it! Over the years, this company has faced many lawsuits from customers that were not happy! I If you need a movie to buy, venture to Amazon, ebay or oldies.com for at least you can track your item with their services! Loving The Classics should be renamed Loving The Suckers because if you are dumb enough to buy from them, Then you are dumb enough to lose your money! Thank you for reading this!
After waiting almost 2 months with no explanation (even though I tried to contact them 4 times), my order finally arrived. The quality of their copied DVDs was so bad that we couldn't watch it! Do not order anything from these people!
Used to be decent, but obviously management has changer. Order placed Feb. 2, afetr about 4 weeks some guy writes, saying he's sorry, he's the only "Internet guy" of the firm but was sick. Nothing ever comes, at first, when asked, he replies sometimes, saying he told "them" to either ship or refund (who is "them" if he isn't one of them? Mystery...), then stops answering altogether although no impolite e-mail was ever sent to him. Filed complaint with FCC and consider my $ 50 lost.
They ripped me off. I paid for an order totaling more than $100 and they kept using alias names in e-mails telling me the orders would ship. Only when I spent half a day to track down who their real name was and contact them through Facebook did I finally get any real response. They promised to send a refund immediately and confessed they did not have any of the titles they advertised in their inventory. I ordered a set of DVDs from this company on August 16,2021. The entry on my credit-card statement showed up as "Love the Critters," rather than Loving the Classics. I've received one email (signed "Kim") from the company, whatever it is, saying "I'm not sure why the receipt is showing up without the correct business name.We are talking to our credit card processor and trying to get this fixed." The email, dated 8/16/21, also said "This item is in stock and will within the next 7 business days." Will what? I asked in reply. Ship, or be received? I've received no answer to that email, nor have I been able to contact Loving the Classics or Love the Critters by phone, nor have I received the order from them.

It took a very long time to get my movie and when it did arrive it would not play, I get an error message. No response to email or phone calls. A waste of time and money
I placed an order on Feb 15,2019. One boxed set of DVD's, 9 seasons of Lassie. $252. Total $256.31 with shipping. According to website they had 5 sets in stock, ready to ship. Received no email confirming order. No delivery. On March 4, I sent an email with order #, requesting order status. No response. Second email sent on March 6. No response. On March 11, I tried calling the customer service # *******619 Recording said voice mail full. Tried calling the # on home page *******335. Number is disconnected.
After reading all the other complaints on this site and others about LTC's, I went to my bank and had them refund my credit card from this stealing company, and then changed my credit card account number.
Next I will file a complaint with the BBB. Very sad. I really did want these impossible to find Lassie tv series. Next time I order from an unknown company, I will check them out first.

I ordered Dracula Saga on 31st October 2017 and i am still waiting, they have taken my money and never sent my movie. I've phoned them left messages on there now very full answer machine and emails which never have been answered. How do i get a refund please help anyone.
