Ordered a set of dvds last November 2017-have not yet received them. Have sent 3 emails asking what's happening.NO RESPONSE-not even a courtesy reply. I have ordered many dvds from different companies over many years but this the worst!
With all negative reviews I saw in these site, I was thinking I'll just loose my money and quite soon I sent a message looking for my order.
Not quickly they wrote to me explaining the delay, and I've received the two movies I have ordered.

I thought I had most of the classic films I would ever want. My collection numbers over 4,000 but that's nothing compared to the treasure trove I found here. This site has about 20,000 movies and although I can't afford to purchase as many as I would like :( I will endeavor to continue to grow my personal collection.
This is a follow up. I contacted Bank of America and gave them the time line on my order, the lack of a tracking number, the lack of communication, and supplied them with additional information I had found about this business concerning changing phone numbers, answering machines, inability to get a physical address, products ordered never arriving even six months later (and the phone number again changed), and also sent them the thousands of BBB complaints about this company. Thankfully BOA did an investigation into this company and promptly credited my account. I can only hope BOA was able to recoup the charge they paid out. I do agree that when a website is a complete scam, it is very misleading to force people to award even one star.
Complete scam! Credit card charged a month ago, never received an order confirmation, a shipping date, nothing resembling an actual on line business. Inquired and got one NON-answer as if my email inquiry had not even been read.
Have contacted by CC company. Tried to access my "account" on their website only to find out my password no longer works! "company" email is not answered, and appears to just be the email of an individual at a home address? Wish I had found THIS website before I lost over $50!
I ordered a fair amount of DVDs from them. They sent an email acknowledging the order. Then, I waited and waited. Nothing. I sent a customer service request. Nothing. I notified my credit card company to reverse the charges and bought basically the same DVDs elsewhere. After getting the DVDs from another source, my order finally arrived (this was more than 2 months after I ordered). I will not do business with this company again.
Same deal. Wish I had checked reviews first. Placed an order in July. 2 weeks later I tried to call. Fake number. Sent several emails. Only got a reply after threatening to call bbb. They said I must have the wrong contact info ( from their website). 2 more weeks go by. Still no dvd or refund. Several more emails sent before I got a 2nd reply stating product was on its way. Today is December 5th 2018. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the credit card company. Horrible company taking advantage of seniors!
Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to do so. Maybe it's a generational thing. However, after two months passed, and still no order received, I sent several e-mails. Heard nothing back. Then I tried to call. I couldn't leave a message because the voice mail was full -- more than likely of complaints like my own! I actually ordered this particular DVD set because I'm working on an article about an actor who appeared in a single episode of the season I ordered. He only had about ten television appearances before his untimely death in 1960, so I was excited about being able to see this. Unfortunately, it looks like I won't be seeing it anytime soon. Fortunately, I only ordered the one item, so I'm out less than 30 bucks. I'll give them another month. If nothing by then, I'll get ahold of my bank and see if I can get a refund -- and I'll be sure to keep an eye on my account to make sure I'm not charged a second time, as several others have claimed to be.
This website is one big scam to get you to part with your money I placed a order for a film, paid for the film and never received the film, the order was placed in november and I am still waiting.If anyone out there is thinking about placing an order with them then my advice is forget it and go somewhere else.the reason you I gave it one star is it is the lowest and I don't think they deserve any stars.

This Company Loving the Classics is the worst company on the internet that I have ever had any dealing's with. Ordered a Movie in September it arrived in about a month and there was nothing on it. I contacted them via Email and have gotten the run around ever since. Usually shipping soon, shipping says this week, should be receiving tracking information shortly. This is March and I have received nothing. Scam Operation Don't buy from these people ever. I would rate them a zero (0) if there was a lower raring I would use it.
Ordered from them in June 2019. No goods received and no response to queries. Credit card provider reversed the transaction in September and I got my money back. Then, 2 days ago, they had the audacity to charge my credit again for the same transaction I had cancelled and had been refunded for. Fortunately my credit card provider has come to the fore again. Do not deal with them. If they don't respond to your queries and don't supply the goods dispute the transaction.
Hi, I've ordered many times from this company but quit a while ago (at least a year, maybe longer). The reason was because I didn't receive some dvd's I ordered. Once I got a credit, but I decided not to order again because a dvd I really wanted was never delivered. Then, I forgot about it. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I got the dvd a short while ago. True, the delivery wasn't timely, but the company did fulfil my order. I will give them another chance if possible, because they still have dvds of movies and tv shows that aren't available anywhere else.

They got me too. I did not see the reviews until it was too late. I ordered in July 2018, the money went through but no product delivery 7 weeks later. I do not feel comfortable with this company having my credit card details so my credit card company will reissue me a new credit card account.
Really enjoy Loving the Classics. Their movie selection gets bigger every time I go on the site, and they always have great classic movies to choose from. Shipping is always fast and I'm impressed with the quality of the movies; Loving the Classics takes great care of their customers.
All the problems are true given my experience - I did not see the warnings on line until my order was not delivered. No reply to emails, phone rings out, and $150 lost... but I have put Amex and MasterCard on to this "business" or "operation". DO NOT BUY A SINGLE ITEM. They neither respond nor care because with all the reports on line, there are still those, like myself, who go in expecting a professional service. Hopefully they will be closed down as fraud is a criminal offence. They need to be charged and EarthLink needs to remove their website.
This seller is unreliable. I have ordered one dvd on 10.12.2019. On 25.03.2020 my dvd has not not been delivered yet. I have tried more than one time to know the status of my order and nobody has replied.
In early August I wrote a review complaining that my May 1 order of $40 plus had not been shipped. It still has not been, & several emails last week to their customer service department have been returned as undeliverable. This SHOULD mean the company is out of business & I'm out of luck. But I still receive their ads! If this company is NOT out of business it certainly should be. In more than 20 years of Internet purchasing this is by far my worst experience.
I ordered a DVD, "The Pathfinder," in April, paid for it that day by credit card, have never received it (now seven months later), have inquired repeatedly about the item or getting a refund, and receive absolutely no response. This company is either dishonest or totally incompetent, and I will not do business with it again.
I ordered 2 DVDs and I waited for a month or more. I tried to contact them, but no reply to E-mails. Finally I got someone on the phone and they said there was a backlog. They shipped the DVDs.
Years ago they were a legitimate outfit and shipped movies quickly, but they are now a division of another company, and apparently are either in trouble, or are now a scam. In the past year I got 2 charges from "a clothing company" that we have not bought from. The charges were identical in amount to previous long ago purchases from LTC and had the initials LTC. They were immediately disputed and refunded. So it is likely that they are now a scam, which is too bad becuase they have some very good hard to get movies.
I placed an order and over a month later it has not been received. No one answers the phone. I called and left messages twice and no return call was received. It is obvious that my money is down the drain. There are companies that do not charge the customer until shipment is made. Unfortunately, this company is not one of them. It is a ripoff.
