In 2016 I ordered several DVDs from this company and was immediately charged for them on my credit card. Although I paid for five, I received only one; and I had to wait until 2017 to get a credit on my statement because the company has a very poor accounting department. In January of 2019 my credit card had a charge of $82.86 from LTC, and I immediately called Chase Card Services to let them know that I had a fraudulent charge on my statement. My company canceled my card, took off the charge, and then called Loving the Classics to see if I had ordered the DVDs once again, which I hadn't! Loving the Classics gave my credit card company my name and address, which made my credit card company believe that I had ordered the DVDs once again. (It is interesting to note that Order No. ******* used in 2016 was also used to double charge me in 2019!) When I saw that the charge was put back on my credit card, I immediately called my credit card company once again, and they conducted a second investigation, not believing me, their loyal customer of many years. When LTC once again gave my company false information, Chase Card Services made me pay for DVDs that I did not order. Seeing that Chase was not going to believe that I never reordered the DVDs, I emailed Loving the Classics and began a correspondence with the customer service representative, who was sympathetic to my cause because he saw that I had been double charged with the same order number as 2016 and should receive a refund. In March I was told that my refund was to appear on my credit card statement in five days, which it was not. Then on April 16, I was told by the customer service representative that Heather had just sent him this snapshot: "BECAUSE she filed a chargeback, we weren't able to do a refund. Since the bank has to review her original complaint, our response and any additional info from her it takes longer. Attaching screenshot showing they expect to have this wrapped up around 4/13." As of this date, June 9,2019, I have received no refund. In addition, the customer service representative has left the company and has not been heard from since. They try to help but have no power.
Please do not order from this company! You may as well flush your money down the drain because you will not receive your DVDs, and yet they will take your money anyway. Even your credit card company will believe them and not you.
YES, THEY DO HAVE SOME OLD AND DESIRABLE MOVIES, AT LEAST TO MOVIE BUFFS. BUT, BUT PREVIOUS REVIEWERS ARE RIGHT---IT'S A CRAPSHOOT WHETHER YOU'LL GET THE MOVIE U PAY FOR! ATTENTION: YOU AND YOUR CREDIT CARD CARRIER. THEY OFFER UP A RECEIPT W. PRESUMABLY YOUR ORDER NO. BUT EVEN IF YOU PRINT IT OUT, IT DOES NOT STATE THE NAME OF THE MOVIE PURCHASE, JUST SOME NOS. BUT WHETHER YOU PRINT IT OUT OR NOT, IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. I FOUND THIS OUT THE HARD WAY. (I ASSUMED A TRUE RECEIPT WOULD BE WAITING IN MY EBOX LIKE AMAZON OR REPUTABLE OTHERS AND FAILED TO PRINT IT OUT. BUT I FOUND THAT DIDN'T MATTER 'CAUSE WHEN I TRIED TO REACH THEM I COULDN'T; I TRIED CALLING THEIR NO. THRICE; SOME RATTLY MESSAGE CAME ON ASKING FOR YOUR NAME AND TELE. NO. AND THEY'D GET BACK---THAT WAS 7 DAYS AGO, AND NOTHING. THEN I TRIED THEIR E ADDRESS, SURELY THEY WOULD WRITE BACK, AND AGAIN NOTHING. TO THOSE THAT HAVE GIVEN HIGH MARKS TO THIS RIP-OFF COMPANY, LUCKY YOU---OBVIOUSLY U HAVEN'T TRIED TO REACH THEM FOR ANY REASON (MY TRY WAS TO SIMPLY GET THE SO-CALLED ORDER NO.) IT'S SIMPLY TOO RISKY THERE---TRY INSTEAD THE FOLLOWING:
