This review is not about the product, it's about LovelySkin. They don't care about their customers. They twice told me my credit card was declined, the reason I hadn't received my product. NOT the case. It's an Amex and I use it regularly without an issue. When I told them, via Chat, it couldn't have been declined and reentered the information incase that was the issue. They said it was declined again. Then they said oops our error, we didn't try to reenter it. The point... they couldn't have cared less, I would take my business elsewhere. I see from the BBB they have other complaines. Stay away from this company, they don't care about their customers.
They sent the wrong size of product and lucky me-I get to pay to ship it back for my refund. Terrible service that makes the customer ALWAYS pay for the return.

I've been a Lovely Skin customer for MANY years. They have authentic products some of which are only available through dermatology offices, and they are able to offer these because they are owned and operated by a dermatologist. They have amazing prices and a rewards program that cannot be beaten. Their regular shipping is free and I get my items quickly. I've occasionally had to return an item (twice that I recall) and the process was very simple. I wouldn't consider getting my skincare products anywhere else: Lovely Skin is the Bomb!:)
I am writing and excellent review as I have been a faithful customer for fifteen years. I have never had a problem with the products or service or delivery. I use skinceutical products and order every three months. Never had a problem with ordering, nor authenticity or delivery. Always packed very securely to make sure I receive the products unharmed. So in closing, I ususally do not respond to negative reviews, but on this what I have been reading, I have to support Lovely Skin and this awesome company it is.
I purchased Pureology strength cure shampoo and conditioner a year ago. The large bottles. I hadn't started the bottles until just a few months ago since i was finishing up my current Redkin Shampoos. The shampoo smelt awesome, just like I remember my hairstylist using. However, I noticed that the conditioner smelt different than the shampoo. The next time I went to get my hair done, I asked my stylist if the conditioner was different smelling than the conditioner- she let me smell it right there. IT WAS NOT THE SAME CONDITIONER. She said she has heard of companes replacing the product with cheaper products. I couldn't remember where I bought it since it was so long ago but I just recently searched my emails and found the purchase. I spent $60 each on shampoo and conditioner. So disappointing since now I will now have to replace the conditioner. I'm not sure if it's the company or someone that possibly returned it, and the company resold the contaminated bottle. Either way, I will not be buying from this company again.

It sounds as if your stylist did not provide to you that Pureology updated formulations and packaging for many of the products in their line which began phasing in in July of 2020. Since that time, several additional updates have launched on Pureology products.
While products can be affected by many things including storage, the formula potentially having been updated since the last time you purchased the item would be a very simple explanation as to the variance in scent.
We are disappointed that we were not contacted via traditional means at any time prior to lodging a damaging review that includes incorrect information.

The information in your review is not accurate. You elected for auto replenishment, then failed to cancel it after receiving a reminder it was ready to ship. After it shipped and you contacted us, we offered to help with a return of the item for a full refund. We did not hear back from you until you lodged a chargeback with your credit card company. Through that, you were refunded but also kept the product you have not paid for.
We care about our customers and strive to provide excellent customer service though that does not include sending products that have not been paid for. As provided via email, your account has been closed. We recommend you find an alternate retailer to shop with in the future.

I purchased a face cleansing balm at ulta which I really liked but found the price on here to be better. I could tell a difference that it wasn't like the first product that I purchased at ultra. I ended up buying another one directly from the manufacturer and I could see differences on the bottle such as a missing barcode from the one I received from lovely skin and some other differences and it just seemed suspicious. I would very hesitant purchasing anything from them again. I have no idea what I've been putting on my skin all this time and who knows if it's toxic or not since it's probably fake. I would stay away. Don't waste your money!

I purchased a Babor product from this dealer. There was a problem in the transit of the product. The dealer responded quickly my complaint and cleared up a misunderstanding with the packaging.
I am on auto replenish for my favorite ELTA MD sunscreen, and they have the best price in town, timely shipping, and great customer service.
I am dealing with the loss of family and a serious surgery and lovely skin uses my credit card without my authorization. They give me the WORST time trying to return as I now have to do all of the work for something that was cancelled and they didn't pay attention. They continue to talk over me and hang up on me as if they are doing me a favor. I am very disappointed I have given good business to a company who doesn't appreciate any bit of it.
They are shameless.
I have been purchasing products from Lovely Skin for many years, and have been mostly pleased until recently. First, I ordered hair mousse from them and it arrived twice with a broken cap and top so it was not possible to use the product. I told them the first time that the item came unwrapped in the box and obviously banged around and was broken. When the second one arrived, it was the same situation. It was not wrapped either and therefore, banged around in the box in transit and was broken. Both times the company insisted that it was the shipper's fault and had nothing to do with the person that packed it - unwrapped and unprotected. Guess what, when it arrived the third time, it was wrapped and fine. Now again, I reached out to the company about items that arrived half full in a travel-size gift set. Rather than accept a return because I was dissatisfied with the purchase, their customer service rep insisted that I send photos before they could discuss any type of return. After sending the images and the lot number on the box (as they asked), they came back with an arrogant email telling me that these items arrived as expected, so they would not pay for the return. I had to pay for the shipping if I wanted to return the products. I was told that these are filled the same as the ones they have in their warehouse. I responded by telling them they did not arrive as expected as I would never purchase containers that I knew were half full. They refuse to make good on this, and instead gave me 25% off on a future purchase. Something has changed at the company - and they need to get a handle on the way their customer service people treat their customers. I will find an alternative online skincare company going forward.
Ordered non tinted elta sunscreen and received tinted elta. Company refused to replace and stated it wasn't from their inventory. Very poor service. Ordered products not received.
My deceased husband purchased a gift certificate for a clay masque which I found after his passing. I called Lovely Skin to redeem and explained the situation including that it was expired. The reception told me no problem and I booked an appointment for several months in the future since I had a class reunion coming up and wanted to look my best. When I arrived the reception treated me like trash and stated that they would not honor the gift. I asked to speak to Office Manager, she was no help because whoever took the call did not leave notes. I called ahead to ensure my gift certificate was good only to discover they care very little about people. I was hurt and felt like I had been kicked in the face. VERY RUDE people.
A product arrived defective. I contacted Lovely Skin for a refund or replacement and was told that since I did not open the product until more than 30 days post purchase Lovely Skin would not honor a refund or replacement. I've been a Lovely Skin client for 2 decades and this is not the customer service I expected.
I just bought Sunday Riley stuff and how awesome 20% i got from Lovelyskin.

Sold and sent a defective product to me I've been using for years and then proceeded to provide a demeaning experience when I contacted their customer service department. I was provided a replacement that was sent quickly, it's unfortunate my experience had to be colored by people who don't know how to communicate appropriately. The product either dispenses or it doesn't. Was then attacked by one of their "customers" on Twitter when I voiced a concern there which was a little too random and convenient considering the other user just decided to hop on Twitter and peruse Lovelyskin's twitter which has about 1k followers? Too bizarre for words.
I was looking for a discontinued product and anything that would compare to that. I initiated a chat with customer care & was blown away by how helpful the representative was. She was amazing. She gave me multiple suggestions which helped me make my decision.
They offer free shipping and they also give you samples to try. My only regret, is that I have never came across this website before. They have a rewards program when you sign up, which will be helpful in the long run.
I got my order within a week!
