Don't Do It

Caveat: When I first purchased from LC, I did not know where they were based; I have gotten packages overseas from places like Japan and Australia that have taken 5-7 months to get to their destination, due to a combo of distance, customs, etc, meaning that shipping would also be understandably expensive. Having said that, I have never bought something from LC... until they came out with the Aaravos hoodie. My lil Dragon Prince heart just about stopped when I saw the price--and figures, I make a solid $12/hr at my FT retail job--so figured...
Why not?
I'll tell you why.
You were honestly more likely to get your product(s) before the pandemic, but guessing after it started, they got SLAMMED. Yeah, it happens (they weren't the ONLY ones, and many managed to bounce back somewhat quickly)... but two years later, they are still pretty backed up. I later found out they are based in California (figures), and even IF you're in the USA like me or in Canada, good luck... nothing for over 5 MONTHS now. It'd be one thing if it was out of country; it is not. I have had items from EUROPE and such ship faster to the US than a fellow state will to another, in this predicament, which is just sad. I will be requesting a full refund. And going by Twitter and the unrest over it in TDP community, I likely will not be the only one. Not worth the hassle.

Buyer beware. This company is in shambles.

I ordered a set of 4 boxes, prepaid, in Feb 2021. 18 months later I've received 2 incomplete boxes and customer service is absolutely incapable of doing anything remotely helpful. They have no idea when the others will even ship.
Turns out the original company filed bankruptcy and was bought by the owner of NECA. Now there are legal battles going on and the production and shipping of boxes is caught up in all of it. Mind you, that doesn't stop them from selling more.

Just pass on these boxes. The items aren't overly worth the price anyways and they're definitely not worth the stress.

No crate no refund
August 10, 2022

I ordered 4 Britney Spears limited edition crates in June 2021. The last one was supposed to come in November of 2021 but now it's august. So I went to check my account and it says cancelled as of June 2022. No notification and no refund to speak of. No answer to emails or phone calls. Made a complaint with the BBB.

I bought a loot crate years ago that I never received and have been working with loot crate to send a replacement for TWO YEARS. They send you a link to a list of crates you can choose from for your replacement but then every time you pick one they say it's unavailable or they can't send you the one you chose. Horrible company, I would never suggest them to anyone.

I'm waiting for over a year for at least 3 crates and like 5 or 6 add ons. Today I finally received one add on and one crate. They aren't even coming in order. Its just whatever they want to send and the crate is missing items. Biggest waste of money ever. I hope they go put of business.

If I could rate lower I would

I ordered the Junji Ito crates #1 and #3 last year, first one was in July 2021 and #3 was in November 2021, emailed the company multiple times to be told that the shipping dates are being delayed and to refer myself to their shipping delays page on their website. I asked for refunds because at this point it had been 11 months since my first purchase and came to terms that I would never see my crates. Logged into my lootcrate account today to see my purchase history to see this message on both of the items I purchased: "This order was cancelled on June 03,2022 01:35PM. Reason: other" and yet I have 0 trace of refunds anywhere. What the actual $#*!? They take their customers as a joke and it's actually $#*!ing sad and beyond frustrating to see. I wrote them a strongly opinionated email and hopefully this gets things moving because I am beyond pissed that my orders were canceled yet they are paid and not refunded. Actual joke of a company.

Accidentally reordered

I accidentally re-ordered my two month Rick and Morty crate in December 2021 and they didn't ship it out until July 31,2022 my first box now I wait another seven months for my second one

Disappointment after disappointment

I ordered a 3-month subscription back in November 2021 for my son's Christmas gift - still waiting almost 8 months later. Not only am I still waiting, after I cancelled my order so I wouldn't be charged for another month - they charge me for a crate I never ordered. Absolutely ridiculous. It has been one disappointing email after the next - I've been sending emails since February 2022 and nothing has been done. So to recap - I paid for a product that I've never received and was charged for a product I never ordered - sounds fishy!

A huge dissapointment

Pretty shocking if I'm being honest. Ordered the Destiny crate back on the 2nd of September 21, no updates, no information regarding my own order, just months of radio silence and the weekly help page update of shipping changing from month to month. So far it's expected to be due August, but I doubt that will happen. Looking to be a full year at this point.

I was also unfortunate enough to have had another Destiny crate ordered due to their auto-subscription. My own fault if I'm being honest, as I should've known it would do that, but it's a practice that has left me thoroughly annoyed regardless.

I would also mention that any attempt with an email correspondence regarding a refund to their "help" will most likely be met with either radio silence, or on the off chance you're lucky, an email replying to you that it will be looked into, with now followup.

They have delayed many of their crates and when asked their reply is to check their website for updates. They have also cancelled creates that cost more than £100 and did not tell the customer (you find out when you check for shipping information) and have not replied to contact on whether they will receive the creat (unlikely if it's been cancelled) or if they will be issuing a refund. And funnily enough (note the sarcasm) it is now just over the amount of time you could get a refund via Paypal (180 days) that they cancelled the crate. Don't trust. Don't buy. Don't bother.

I have two crates I'm still waiting for and have been for nearly a year, refuse to refund me and keep emailing me the same poor excuse each time I reach out, they're scummy and not worth your time, money or effort.

This site claims to provide cool loot at a premium. This is misleading - I ordered a set 9 months ago, and they finally sent something, but it wasn't what was ordered. Requests for refund are ignored. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Terrible Business
June 24, 2022

Took OVER 8 MONTHS for my one crate to arrive, and when it did, they gave me wrong shirt entirely. Customer support is HORRIBLE, giving me same automated response FOUR TIMES when trying to resolve issue, let's hope BBB can resolve my case, because I'm NOT dealing with the same automated response over and over.

Unbelievable shipping delays

Its been over 18 months and still haven't received 1 single email about the product i purchased, all referred to the shipping dates they state. For what all its going to tell me once that date is up its going to get updated with a farther date out, lack of communication from this company is a joke. For them to take the money and not update you as a custom pretty sad and joke this company should be sued

Scammers!

I do not know how this site is still in business when they are scamming so many people. I made the mistake in buying a box from them in November 2021. This box had not come and by January, I unknowingly paid for another box because it automatically signs you up for monthly subscriptions when you buy a box for the first time (the first red flag). I was being patient and understanding as I put in requests asking where my package was. They told me nothing had shipped and kept pushing off the ship date (January, February, March, April, etc.). It is now June 2022. I have not received either box. After requesting refunds and getting no response, I finally went through PayPal and they were able to refund me the $50 purchase from January. However, since Nov. 2021 was so long ago, I was not able ot get a refund from that order. Does anyone actually receive any boxes?! A horrible company.

Scammed by 500$ on Fallout Loot Crates!

LootCrate is a huge scam. I ordered 2 plans in 2021 for 3 Fallout Loot Crates, so 6 crates in total. 1 year later, I only received 2 out of 6 crates and Loot crate charged me over 1 more plan, which I never requested and had already canceled through their website!
I contacted their support, requested a refund, and disable whatever plans they still had active in their system since my front page was already disabled, and guess what? They told me they were working on a refund and 1 month later they charged me yet another 150$ for a second plan. I contacted them again and got ignored. Thankfully Paypal takes such matters seriously. I sent them the emails exchanged with LootCrate and got 300$ refund but the rest is gone. I can no longer request a refund for last year's plans, for the crates which were never delivered! Please, do not order from them, it's a huge huge scam!

I ordered a Crow limited edition ring set and this was back in February of 2021. By October of 2021 was the original shipping date. Order never came in the mail by the end of October and I never received a notification of the delay. I contacted support and they said it'll be shipped by November. November came and again no notification that the order was not coming in. The order was delayed again. I contacted them and they said It'll be shipped in December. December came and no order came through. I contacted support and they said it'll be shipped by March of next year instead. March came and no order came through the mail and once again no notification. I contacted Lootcrate and they said April of 2022 is the new shipping date. April just ended and still no order. Now they are pushing it to June of this year. So much other people are in the same boat as me with this company and so much people are having the worst experience even getting refunds for orders that they have never received.
