AWFUL COMPANY I have ever seen in my life! Do not use this carrier ever! All the negative comments you are seeing are true. I should have listened to those comments, and now I regret it! Please do not hurt yourself by trying to receive services from this horrible company!
The bar for shipping carriers isn't exactly set all that high. We've all been through nightmares with shipping or receiving or returning or whatever else concerning moving something somewhere else. Loomis sets a new bar for courier service. The bar is so much lower it's 6ft underground or maybe halfway to the other side of the world? Spoke with mulitple Loomis agents about a parcel pickup and not only do they all have attitudes as if they're our in laws, they have no knowledge on Loomis policies, and generally, made it a personal challenge to ward you off their service. Conflicting info everytime I speak with them. Unreasonable demands like telling me to go sit at home waiting for pickup because it can be ANY TIME on ANY DAY *insert "surprise mf" Dexter meme* How do Loomis workers be at home for their pickups? Or do they not use Loomis either? One agent simply ended the chat midway. I imagine Janet smashing the end chat button with gusto thinking she's flipping me off like the good old days of slamming down the phone. On your customers. Well, you win, Janet. But here I am adding another 1 star review to the pile of 1 star reviews. Oh we also filed a complaint with Walmart too. That's also another question of the universe we'll never understand. Why would Walmart pick Loomis to do their deliveries? Perhaps their CEO's fullname is "Loomis Walmart Express"? Walmart and Amazon actually had the same item for the same price online and I thought it would be easier with delivery/returns with Walmart because Amazon Shipping. Little did I know. Never again, Walmart, never again.
Initially, I received notification that I was not found at home, despite the fact that I was at home and they did not buzzed me.
When I called to enquire about my delivery, a person called Martin, was really unpleasant and rude.
I will never use Loomis Express services again,I am very disappointed that I received such poor customer service from them.

I been waiting for over a week for my parcels from Saskatchewan. It was in medicine Hat since the 22nd and now it is back in Calgary. Call them over and over no one call back and I was going to pick it up in the hat but they won't let me I will never ship anything else with them
Why are they called Loomis "Express"?! I paid for express shipping and NEVER got it... this is the third time they do this to me!
Their website says they "tried" delivering at 4:30pm "But business closed" LOL... we are all here at the business until 7pm each night!
The Lied about attempting to deliver!
DHL gave me Loomis contact number to follow up my package. I end up talking to a very rude agent. He said " Its not here". I said "But DHL told me it was picked up by Loomis". Then he yelled: "No! Its not here, when I said its not here, its not here! You are wasting my time!" The He hung up. I was so upset, so frustrated I just cried.
So I had an order thru Loomis but all's they have is some gay chat that kept putting me off. I live in Fox Creek. The driver said he tried to deliver and wasn't home, I have 2 dogs u wouldn't get near my door and I also have a motion sensor camera doorbell. They just put the lie in the system tried to deliver and wasn't home, wow. Finally a nice lady that works at one of their drop sites helped me out, she doesn't work for Loomis she works at the store that they drop at. Online chat was useless and ignorant saying couldn't give me dispatch phone number. After calling 3 depots I finally found me parcel but to just outright lie on tracking is terrible. I personally would never use their services, something was shipped to me from an audio store. I'm guessing after the service I got they probably use them as are bottom of the pile and cheap
The worst excuse after excuse called depot in dartmouth and said they she would call back never did i called 2.5 hours later she said she had someone else call never did then used fire in timberly i live in chester grant miles away from the fire and i said the 103 highway is not closed and she then hung up on me ps. The woman at the dartmouth depot was very rude if i could i would give loomis delivery less than 1 star i porobley wiil never get package now
Loomis used to be one of the better and most reliable couriers out there but now Not on your life. I called on a Weds morning to have a package picked up that day and delivered the next day to a city an hour away. They never bothered to go pick it up. The driver told his dispatcher that he went and they told him nothing was there to pick up. I don't know where he went but it was not to the address I had given them, because the receptionist there had never seen him, nor did she see the truck in the neighbourhood because she walk around the street full of show homes to close them up at the end of the day and never did she see a loomis truck anywhere. It sucks too because I had already paid for the shipment to be told by two different departments that it was the other departments place to issue a refund. Which I am still waiting for. The business office in Calgary helped me more than anything and the lady there was wonderful even though four days later I was very frustrated. Nobody in the other two departments actually gives a crap. They act as if it isnt their problem and too bad so sad! Never again!

This company shouldn't exist. There is no tracking information. The customer service is non existent. And rude. They suck!
Loomis is the only company that actually brings my packages to me door step. They are going to be my go to shipping company now for orders.
I'm still waiting for my package and no one guarantees me when I'll get it or if I'll get it. No one has the same information.

They dont repair their trucks, just rent budget trucks
Biggest issue:
Drivers LIE CONSTANTLY. I have literally watched a "loomis" truck pull up, guy picked up a package, scanned it, did something with his pad then drove off and i got a DHL "you weren't home" notification. They refuse to try and fix the issue and tell you it takes 2 business days to take it off a truck and hold it for pickup.
This time in particular i got screwed over because the driver was lazy and never actually delivered. Because this is on a friday i have to wait until monday for the 2 days to start and HOPEFULLY pick it up Wednesday, but i forgot that i work regular professional hours and their only open during the time im at work.
HORRID SHIPPING COMPANY. DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE. Carrier pigeons are more reliable than Loomis. Honestly a dead carrier pigeon is more reliable, atleast you know its not gonna lie to you.
I have a hearing disability and took the time to call Loomis to advise the delivery man must press a special button to alert me. I work from home and I am always available.
The delivery man fail to press it the two times he attempted. The first time he left a notice and I took the time to sign it, write the instructions on how to alert me and left it inside my lobby to make sure he would either press the button or leave the package.
I was told he would deliver between 9-5 so the notice was in my lobby prior to that. Nobody had come by 5pm and I had to leave, by 6h30 I saw that he had left a second notice and moved the previous notice with it.
When I called to complain he delivered outside of the business hours as promised, the customer service representative said as per their scan he had tried at 10am which was a lie.
They essentially said it wasn't their problem and declined to help even if I clearly advised them on what to do to get a response and that he neve attempted prior to 5pm. Now they are refusing to deliver the package and want me to travel 1h45 to go pick it up when they failed to deliver.
This is by far the worst delivery company I had to deal with.
