Quite simply: They use a delivery service that is so lame that no words can describe it. You will have a fine experience right until your delivery day. Then you won't get your furniture. Then you will try to find out what happened (which will take forever because you can't reach the store directly, only the call center) and they will apologize, and give you excuses, and schedule it for the next available date (which will be 2-3 days after)... and then you won't get it again. And so on. You are lucky if you will get your stuff a week after the first delivery. Outrageous. Don't say I didn't warn you.
The worse customer service ever. They only want to take your money. Paid over £40.000 for a kitchen, cabinet door broke after only few months, breakfast bar wood lifted up after 4 months. Still waiting for repair after 2 years. No phone number, no full address for customer service. Reply to e-mails after 3-4 weeks and each time with some worthless excuses. Please please don't buy anything from Livingspace, yes the design is nice but do you really want to pay so much for something that do not have any warranty, worse customer service, oh no none exiting customer service. They made so much mistake with the design and each time they were blaming each other and then charging me for it. DO NOT USE LIVINGSPACE
We placed a special order for furniture which was delivered defective. I was asked to send photos of the items, I complied. I continue to email the Customer Service Representative Marie Keller who will not even as a curtesy respond to my inquiry with regard to the return of this defective furniture. Very disappointed, If left the option I would to give 1 star.
I bought a leather couch made up of four electronic reclining theater like seating. The sample I sat on in Living Spaces showroom was a lot different that merchandise I received. I spent almost $4000 on a couch I can't sit on. This is a deceptive way of doing business. You can't have repeat customers if this is pattern of practice for sales in your stores.
I am beyond frustrated with this entire company and their shipping (XPO). I ordered my Dean Sand Eastern King Bed Frame on June 6th, with the expected delivery date between 7/26-8/3. It is now 8/3 and no one can tell me where my bed is and how long it will take me to receive it. I received my tracking number on 6/30 so obviously I'm assuming that i will be getting but the website is never updated and when i inquire everyone says it's in transit but know one knows where. I wish I was leaving a review on the quality of the bed BUT who knows when I'll actually be receiving it. If you want more accurate reviews check google and other sites, what i wish i would've done before ordering.
Living spaces has to be one of the worst places to do business. Their customer service is crap. Their orders are never on time. We had to wait 2 extra months to get our furniture which was promised within 2 weeks. We had to give multiple calls to even get an update. But that's not even the worst of it. They offer a 0% apr on their furniture. BEWARE when you opt for this. Because they attach some sort of a promotion to it which expires before your entire pay off period. If your pay off period is 18 months, your promotion for 0% apr expires in 12 months I was never informed about this and ended up being charged more than what I purchased because of course the promotion ran out before the total amount was paid off. One of the sneakiest bloody business that I have ever dealt with. No thank you. I will get my furniture at Ikea and I won't even care when I have to get new ones in a couple years! Sneaky and worst!
We went in and found what we wanted. Placed an order, paid in full and then waited. Went back 3 weeks later to determine the status and to see if our items were being made and were told, we just have to wait. They could not provide us with any information. We were advise that it would be 4-5 weeks. In looking over the paper work and hidden, I have found it is 6 -8 weeks and they will not respond to any question on any level.
I have attempted to call them (877 number) and the wait time is 50 plus minutes.
Customer care and service is virtually non existent.
Very SAD/
Ordered a dresser, they delivered, a couple hours later as we are putting the legs on the dresser we realized the holes did not lineup, called customer service they said someone would schedule a call to come look at and see if it can be fixed or replaced, 72 hrs they said!
72 hrs later they do call back to say a third party reps company will come out in 8 days to check item. I do not want the dresser. If I have it shipped back I have to pay for shipping.
Horrible service. FYI, when they deliver, make them wait while you check every inch of the item you ordered. It's a nightmare to send back
My opinion about Living Spaces is that I believe they have the worst customer service staff and CEO encountered. They have delivered on 2 occasions from the same order dressers that were defective. They had the audacity to behave like I should want to keep the damage dresser they sent out. When I asked if I could get a similar product they said I would have to pay the difference. The same badly made dresser went up by $100 and they wanted me to pay it. They didn't care that I waited several months to get the dresser. Jema who said she was a Supervisor said she could not take anything off of the new dresser. I would have to consume the cost and new shipping charges. Lewis who I spoke to before Jema was just as bad. This is a company that rips people off. My experience tells me to let consumers know that they should run away from Living Spaces. All the glitter you see in the store decor becomes a nightmare exhibiting cheaply made furniture. This company doesn't care about quality and retention. They care about getting over on consumers.
After calling Living Spaces several times and even talking to someone who said they were a Supervisor- my name is still spelled wrong on my order. People the name on the order is the same as the credit card. I received an email letting me know that the 3 dressers I ordered only 1 would be delivered. When I called customer service the person was so busy talking over me until he couldn't hear my questions about when the other dressers would be delivered. Finally, after asking the same questions eight times I still don't know when I'll receive my other dressers that have been paid for. I also paid a delivery fee. Living Spaces instead of spending millions of dollars on advertising how about utilizing those resources on training your leaders and customer service staff. They need to listen to the customer, because if they do the customer is telling you what the issue and concerns are. Living Spaces has the worst customer service ever. Where is my furniture?
Only giving 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. Been waiting on recliner for 3 months. Keep getting the run around when I try to find out about delivery. Finally just returned it. TERRIBLE customer service. GREAT I don't care attitude.
Purchased bunk beds. Installers were unable to assemble because hardware was missing. They left to get parts said they would return shortly. They did not return. In meantime, we inspected beds and noticed scratches and broken boards. Also noticed packaging had been opened and resealed. It was apparent beds had been sold, returned and re-sold to us. That's why parts were missing and packaging had been opened and resealed. We called to return beds and get a refund of the purchase price. Customer service rep argued we should simply exchange for new beds. Based on the bad service and inferior product, we asked for refund. Company came by and picked up beds, but charged a fee for pickup. To this date, we have not received our refund. Avoid this company at all cost!
We bought a new table and the top is defective with the wood splitting and uneven. After several hours, phone transfers and now 2 months they said they would send out a new top. Well they don't have them in stock so we wait. Now they said we can pick out a new table but will only credit the cost of the top and not the base? What good is that?
Not looking like this is going to end well! Save your self some frustration and buy somewhere else.
It's been a nightmare. Just about every single piece of furniture that is delivered is damaged or poorly made. Split wood, bangs in the wood, scratches. It's endemic to their supply chain. Poor QC. Customers Service tries their best but when what you sell is poorly made, the experience is going to be poor.
The only thing these scam artists do quickly is take your money. I paid for furniture months ago and apparently its stuck in Utah, the delivery company cannot access it, and the inept company isn't answering their phones today. They are closed on a Wednesday? DONT waste your time, the furniture and products are subpar and what you have to do in order to get them is simply not worth it. I am calling my credit card company to report this scam and having them reverse the payment. They are dishonest and dont deserve the public's business
Never received sideboard nor chest drawers. Horrible customer service. They setup delivery date and time, then waited 30 minutes before delivery time to call and say they did not have them. So now I was suppose to wait again after 1 month until October to see if they come in. Why setup delivery date and time and 2'days later after a month long wait call and confess you never had it in stock?
Ordered a dresser on 3/5/22. As of 6/20/22 two dressers have arrived both broken. First dresser had a big broken chip in it, returned it which took nearly a month. Replacement finally arrived in broken box, screws laying on top, broken and disassembled—looked like someone else had already returned it. It was finally picked up on 6/14/22 (after several phone calls) and now i am told I have to wait 3-4 weeks for my refund.
We paid 1000 dollars for furniture over 6 months ago and it has still not been delivered. I have called and emailed countless times and no one will help me; they just keep saying "we will get back to you in 24-48 hours, and then no one gets back to me. This is theft and a scam and unacceptable. I can't even get ahold of anyone to get a refund.
I remodeled my basement in March and decided to add a new sectional because I have family coming to visit on Memorial Day weekend. I originally found a sectional that I liked from Ashley Furniture but the wait was a little longer than I wanted to wait. So I found this company and a very similar couch. I spoke with customer service and they assured me that my couch would be here early April. It's been delayed THREE TIMES now and I still don't have it and I'm not getting it by this weekend. After it was delayed twice I complained on the website only to get email responses from customer service being extremely rude to me. I $hit you not! Customer service started sending me heckling emails. Super weird. I am sure they'd somehow screw me if I tried to cancel so at this point I'm just trying to not to even think about it.
Company is ridiculous- slapped with hidden fees after ordering a couch that ended up not fitting in the apartment. The movers did not even try to make it fit when the service was paid for to have them bring the couch in. Crazy fees to have it removed and refunded- i have no words, so unethical
Dont shop at Living spaces. Worst company ever to deal with.
They have nice things but it will be...
1. Delayed for months.
2. Broken when it does come.
3. When they bring you the exchange it will be wrong.
4. You order a nice chair wait for months then get told its discontinued.
The worst!
Answer: They scammed me too! I am still fighting with them
Answer: There are many furniture companies with similar and likely better products.
Answer: Helpful. People in store very helpful. They did not seem to know about the complaints.
