This site is operated out of China. Their standards for customer service and turnaround time are going to be different. It can be deceiving the first time ordering from them without reading all the processing time details. Basically you might have to wait a month (or two) before you receive your items. I first found out the hard way by ordering items I needed for Halloween. They showed up after Halloween. Super pissed. After multiple complaints through their ticket system (little hard to communicate due to the language barrier) they finally refunded me, but only partially. I eventually got some of the items. Some of them they were able to simply cancel because they hadn't even shipped yet (weeks after placing my order). The rest were already in transit. Because of the headache of dealing with everything I didn't bother trying to go through a returns process (would probably take months since they're in China).

The 2nd time ordering off their site I knew what I was getting into. The items they had I couldn't find anywhere else for near as cheap. So I took the gamble. Some of the items came relatively quickly, even with the free shipping method chosen. Some took much longer. The items were of great quality for the price so I'm actually fairly pleased.

Their online marketing is top notch. I get a ton of emails that are relevant to me related to things I've looked at on their site. They know what their doing in terms of marketing. Their product pages could afford some more specific details about each item but the size charts and photos are usually pretty detailed. They have a bunch of ways to get rewards points, albeit they are very nominal rewards. I'm actually writing this review so i get some rewards. I'm being honest because they'l reward regardless of the type of review you write.

In short, it's tough for this site to compete with domestic sites but it looks like they're trying to offer a good experience. They really need to be more up front with their turnaround times and best practices with customer service though. Especially after reading the reviews of others. I'm not going to always shop from his site but if they have something unique and the price is right I will.

I have ordered a lot of items on Lightinthebox and i never had problems.
The last item was a silicon case for the Xiaomi Yi camera and it was perfect and very useful to protect the camera

I was totally surprised when i saw they were delivering all items at my door, days before planed. Everything was right as far as I followed all advised about sizes in every item. Colour quality is so good, materials are exactly what they say so.
Im very happy i found ths place and sure I do more orders, cos it is so easy to make it right without wasting time in the streets and shops.
All cos it is totally true all they say abut material, quality and sizes. A BIG PLUS.

I ordered a few things from LightinTheBox. A cerimony dress for my wife that is made with great quality and very nice price. I was pleased with that. Then I ordered 2 whatches: a Curren (low cost brand) and a DIesel one. Curren is very simple but nice and cheap. Diesel was a disappointment. The price was very good, and I thought it would be a nice buy, but if I knew it was a fake - chronograph doesn't exist as the pointers are glued and the buttons just don't work - I wouldn't have bought it. It's a shame. LITB doesn't need this to stain their reputation. Makes me sad.
