If I had known how BAD their customer support was, I would have purchased a different brand. You cannot reach any live agent with a question - the computer lady blocks you. They gave me terrible information to get my repair and now cannot get anyone to assist. NO MORE MONEY TO LG FROM ME!

Dishwasher is 1 week old! Control panel is dead. They are refusing to replace the dishwasher. Customer service speaks no English and continues to read their speech from a book. I am infuriated.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered a refrigerator in November, which was delivered late December. I've had several issues which have still not been resolved. I just sent them the email below today (Jan. 16,2023):

Since I received this refrigerator, the shelves have never worked for me. Anytime I place something on it, it falls off. I have called on numerous occasions all to no avail. The first time I spoke to a representative, I was informed that someone will come over and check it for me which never happened. I made subsequent calls and was transferred to at least 7 different people during each call, none of whom took responsibility.
I have been patient enough and at this point, I want to return the refrigerator because I cannot pay for a non functioning refrigerator. At the same time, if this issue is not resolved in the next three days, I will report the issue to the Better Business Bureau.
This is just unacceptable.

Still waiting for LG support staff to email me details for ice maker part. Had to repeat 7 times for this Philippino guy to understand about the fault. LG is literally a farked brand. Smeg is a way to go.
Oct 18 ordered a dishwasher they said 3 day delivery said it would be there oct20 called they said give it 72 hr called back several times November 18 tryed getting my money back I call 2 times week it's December 21 an still have not got ether one what can I do to get my money back
I have had LG and works great, but their new machines are not as good as the ones they made before; I bought a new machine in Oct. Water leaked from the door, so I had to go directly to the store where I bought it from, and they helped me get a complete refund. The store manager of this Home Depot was kind enough to help me get a refund. Lg itself was horrible and also Home Depot Alliance Customer care is not very good, this Gentleman, the Manager of The Aurora Home Depot was amazing and very kind and very helpful. Thank You to him or I would not have gotten my money back and would have been left with a new and defected machine, my advise is to buy things from good people.
The phones by LG I owned were quite reliable and fast-working, but lately these are beginning to be overpriced. Made me look to the younger ones on the market with same characteristics.
My LG Inverter Direct Drive Washer only lasted TWO years.
The repairmen said they only last THREE to FIVE years, with some lasting as short as ONE year.
This is ridiculous.

Hi, I am very unhappy with LG as I want to change Panel for my LG 65NANO85APA tv(used only 3 month old) which is not selling by LG and their authorized dealers and dealers asking me to buy new TV instead of panel. So pathetic and they are not environmental safety and they just do business. Government should bring some regulations.
I have a model #DLE3600V dryer, I called sustomer service when the unit was 6 months old about the door not shutting properly, they came out and said they would not fix the door even though it was a clear product issue, not abuse. I spent a substantial amount of money on a dryer an to be sent a faulty product an it completely be redeemed NON REPAIABLE by the LG techs they sent out to my house an then be told oh well your out of warranty after only having this brand new dry for not even a whole 2 years and they are telling me I'm out of luck if there was a 0 star to be given i would i have been going back and forth with LG for 4 months now an they are telling me im $#*! out of luck to bad i got sent a faulty dry oh well they don't care
I just replaced my 11 year old LG refrigerator that the compressor went out in. I called LG to check on the warranty and was told that the warranty had expired. I then asked for a referral to a technician in my area. I was told that I would be contacted by a technician with in 7 days and if there was no contact from a tech to call LG back. When I called back I was told that there was no technicians in our area and basically to see if there was a appliance repair company in our area. I called the only repair company in our area and was told that they would not work on any LG appliance under any circumstance. This is the 3rd LG frig that has malfunctioned in a 5 to 11 year time frame. Their products are junk and that is what the appliance repair company told me why they wont work on them. If there was a zero stars rating thats what there rating should be.
Poor service and POOR QUALITY phones!
Had 2 phones from them and BOTH had issues. The LG V10 has a known "boot-loop" problem which basically renders the phone useless. They refuse to acknowledge it or repair it unless it's within warranty.
Likewise the LG-G3 randomly shuts down and again they refuse to repair. Both of these issues are "known" to LG and a basic search online will show how many people suffered the same fate.
I've been using cell phones since the inception of the Motorola "brick" and have been through Ericsson, Motorola, Nokia, Apple, Sony and Samsung... LG is ONLY one with issues!

Buyer beware! I have an LG sxs insta view. Have had problems with frost in freezer. Called customer service for repair. 1st attempt failed to correct. New door and seal ordered and replaced. FAILED! Called Cust. Service a 3rd & 4th time their tech was rude and said my floor was uneven which caused the problem. WHAT? Are you kidding me? Now the freezer door is not flush with refrigerator door, and loose. Called LG customer service several times to resolve these issues. No repair techs came x4. WORSE EVER SERVICE AND APPLIANCE! Called a local appliance repair service and was told they've had problems dealing with LG and will NOT WORK ON LG APPLIANCES!
I purchased a LG HI85LA projector and after one hour of use it developed a problem. Talking to someone at LG is impossible. I got disconnected from their live chat 4 times, their customer service phone number does not allow you to speak with a representative and their online "repair form" site doesn't work. I have had similar frustrations in the past with other LG products. This home theatre project must be up and running in the next week so after spending hours trying to talk or communicate with LG, out of frustration, I just placed an order for an Epson projector to replace the brand new LG HU85LA that I can't get repaired!
Purchased an LG Slim Portable DVD Writer (Model GP60NB50) for my lap top but it would not play DVDs. Emailed LG's customer service and received a response the next day. They suggested I download VLC Media Player (http://www.videolan.org) It worked! While it would have been helpful to have this information in the owner's manual, I have to give the customer service department kudos for their quick response and solving the problem satisfactorily.
Bought LG fridge through Lowes. Purchased extended 4 year warranty. Had problems in first year of freezer over freezing. Fridge/freezer was repaired and worked for a while. June 7,2023 freezer stopped working. Called warranty service and it took 5 days to get a technician out. Replaced the compressor and for 1 1/2 weeks the fridge/freezer worked. Then again, freezer stopped working. Technician came out 2 days later and couldn't find a problem. Started up fridge again and then for 1 1/2 days it worked and then failed again; and of course, on a Friday. I was told by Lowe's warranty, LG and technician that I'd have to wait until Monday. Technician came out and advised that freezer mechanism has to be replaced and by Thursday, possibly, the part may be in. In 6 weeks fridge/freezer only worked for 1 1/2 weeks which is unacceptable! My food spoilage has exceeded their claim amount of $250. LG customer service is terrible! Who can be without a fridge for weeks in the Summer! LG should replace the fridge/freezer with a new one!
Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
