Why does LG have so many low reviews?

They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! If you don't mind dealing with arrogant people dare to call but b prepared to talk to someone who will come across as you're wrong and they are right!

I am one of the customers of your AIR CONDITIONERS who is regretting why I went for LG Product and Feels completely cheated. Now here is the full shocking story.
I bought an LG Air Conditioner 1.5 months back. 12 days back AC stopped working. I called customer care and raised a complaint. Your technician came checked opened the both indoor and outdoor unit of new AC which is only 1.5 a month old and he told there is issue in outdoor PCB, they will replace it for that they have to order PCB (Which has taken 4 days). 4 day's back they came with PCB which has taken a week in this hot summer. And tried to replace the outdoor PCB but still the issue persists. Again they opened both Indoor and Outdoor wasted 2-3 hours but nothing happened and Issue still persists. Now they are telling us there is an issue in Indoor PCB also and we will change it. So I am requesting you to please replace my AC unit or else return my money. I am getting fed up with your machine. I am a Fed up with your representative. I don't want to go with LG. Till now both units have opened and closed at least 40- 50 times. If this is the quality of your product then why are you selling?. The biggest problem is all your team members are non-responsive. No one is picking the call. I am not getting any status on what is going to happen next. I feel like Cheated. For the last 10 days My AC has not been working and No one from LG is bothered. You people simply cheated the customer. I am fed up with you people. Requesting you to please replace my AC Unit else take it back and refund my money. I am calling, trying to get whatever possible way to get status but No one is ready to pick the call. I got one number of your employees named "Akash Kumar" in Patna. First time he picked up the call after listening to my issue, he also stopped picking my call. You people are simply making substandard products. Please don't cheat the customer and replace my both units (Indoor/OutDoor).

One more thing also add the Tag line to your product "Waste Your Money on your OWN RISK".

I also had a horrible experience; I bought one of their new mancine with the (round) front door. It was leaking; They have gone downhill in quality big time. I never imagined the machine door was so flimsy and leaking. They should take off the name LG and put Maytag or something because it is not the same machines I know from the past. Customer care was horrible and left me on the phone for hours until they said they are at full capacity and content to take my call. I went directly to Home Depot, where I bought it.

Thank God Home Depot has there own customer care department. Again was not answering my call, but I had a chance to talk to the manager at the aurora location. He was so amazing. Very good, they made the call for me to customer service and had my machine returned with a full refund. If managers and salespeople were more like him, life would be less stressful, and business would run more smoothly, and people would have more trust in the companies when buying things. I would buy again from home depot simply because of this manager's way of handling my problem with a defected machine. By the way, try first to go to the people you bought the machine from and then to LG. You must be insistent, and if they still don't give you a refund, publish your experiences as much as possible. But buying from a reputable store is also helpful. Home Depot happened to be very good in the end.
