It's amazing how long my LG kitchen appliance works. I bought the dishwashing machine like a decade ago and it still does the job. Whereas my friends are always complaining about theirs and some of them have changed several of them in this time.
I bought a set of appliances, fridge, microwave, oven and dishwasher and have only had it less than 2yrs and the all have gone bad in one way or another; bad compressor after 2yrs, microwave handle broke off, stove numbers don't display, numbers on temperature dial erased while cleaning, fan and light on microwave do not turn on anymore. Before LG I had GE and it lasted me 20yrs with no problem! We only upgraded because they were old. Will never buy LG again and will not recommend it to anybody I know.

Got an LG refrigerator from Lowe's. Thought it would be good since her TVs are good but I was wrong. I will never buy another LG refrigerator as long as I live because it's made very poorly especially when trying to replace the water filter and nothing works very right the water taste like plastic and call the service department and they suck. Want me to use tools to move something around that can break They suck.
Terrible customer service ordered American fridge freezer cost over £1400 as it was boxed couldn't check for damage now when opened reported dent on it it's still in protective cover but as it's been over 3 days from 30 day policy refused to replace even though sent picture it's not even installed yet. Company have poor customer care and no loyalty towards customers still have plastic over on as it's just been taken out from box
I've bought 3LG blueberry players within the last year. Within 6 months they stopped playing disks altogether. Getting really tired of LGs inferior stupid mediocre products. Yup 6 months old!

I have 3 LG products in the house and they are all garbage. No customer service available. 2 months waiting for dishwasher to be fixed without any resolve in site. Don't get me started on the crap TVs. Software issues all day and night. Nobody has time for this. This is just poor products and service. Don't buy them.

Requested a technician to fix the issue with oven not heating up but turns out it was my house's electrical voltage not being enough. He was here not even an hour, did not and could not fix the issue and still charged me nearly $400. I called LG customer support for a refund and they have been playing hide and seek with me. I don't even make that much in a whole day!
Waiting over three weeks for LG to send missing parts on an LG cordless vacuum cleaner. Spoke to them on February 1 set a week to 10 days called today on February 20. Still under review need more documentation never had the courtesy to tell me that they needed more documentation. What a scam I will never ever ever buy in any LG product as long as I live.

absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced told me they would send missing part out right away. It would be 7 to 10 days 20 days later I contacted them they told me part hasn’t shipped needed more documentation yet nobody ever told me that have no idea when they will send me my missing parts what a major disappointment will never purchase any LG product as long as I live.

Buyer Beware they are horrible they do not cover there product we bought a refrigerator and it has such a bad chemical smell and they say we did it! It started in the ice and we haven't been able to use our refrigerator makes all your food taste horrible had to throw everything away! Do not trust this company our refrigerator was only 4 months old! Now they let the year warranty run out! I've called every week since July repairman even said it's brand new they will replace well no replacement! Now they let the warranty expire!

I've been without a refrigerator for 2months I keep having to call costumer support and get nowhere have had an service tech out here on multiple occasions and he told lg it's not repairable lg still won't refund my money and is trying to make me start the repair process over again I will never buy another lg product this is unbelievable now I go through the holidays without a working fridge

"Purchased a 75inch UHD smart TV ( not cheap) and after 2 years of moderate use it had a blue hue to the picture. As time (3 months) went by it got worse. Did my research and found that LG used defective LED strips from a company called Vestel and it is a common complaint from thousands of LG TV owners. Contacted LG customer service ( A real joke there) and they refused to do anything about it even after acknowledging that the LED strips were indeed defective! I asked them as a customer service option, make on offer at a reasonable price to replace the TV and they refused. They were dismissive and could care less about your concerns This is NOT A COMPANY YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. Horrible
We bought a brand new LG dryer from Best Buy in August of this year, it worked normally a few times but would start to end a cycle with some damp clothing. We decided to follow up with LG about coming in for a service since it was a new appliance. They resort of all of their interactions through texting as much as possible to not have someone come out to see you.
We are STILL going back and forth with them to get someone out to look at it. After providing proof that our gas line is fine, which cost money to hire out a professional. After trying their at home tests to see if it could resolve itself.
I will not be purchasing anything made by them in the future.
Bought 2 dishwashers and both of the the motors went out. Nothing is ever covered in the warranty. They will insist on sending a tech out which would cost more than going and buying a cheap dishwasher. I will never buy a LG product again.
Less than 24 hours notice of delivery cancellation. I had to leave work (was working out of town) to accept delivery, was notified less than 24 hours of cancellation. Customer service rep named Bernard Victor was rude, condescending and no help at all. Delivery has been out of for an entire week, which will cost me another days wages. Unprofessional to say the least and I will never purchase another product from LG.
I have a refrigerator that is barely 3 years old, that on Thanksgiving 2023 died, I lost HUNDREDS of dollars in food, meat and drinks. When I called lg to have it repaired I was asked to wait 3-5 business days... on the end of day 5 they still didn't have anyone to repair it and asked again to be patient with no time frame set this round. The representative was rude, the service is lack and apparently their products are horrible... no wonder they have such lengthy vague warranties that don't cover anything.

I recently purchased an LG dryer during their Black Friday sale. Despite paying in full, the delivery date has been repeatedly delayed with no explanation or revised timeline. The customer service department has been nothing but unhelpful, offering vague responses, empty promises, and a complete lack of transparency.
To date, I have:
-Submitted multiple online complaints, receiving only a call promising further action that never materialized.
-Contacted the Voice of the Customer team via email, but was completely ignored.
-Called customer service on numerous occasions, each time being met with frustration and disappointment.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. I've been without a dryer for weeks, creating unnecessary burdens and disruptions to my daily life. LG's complete disregard for my concerns and their failure to provide any real information has eroded my trust in the brand.
Avoid LG at all costs if you value timely deliveries, clear communication, and responsive customer service. This company clearly does not prioritize its customers' satisfaction.

I purchased an LG French door refrigerator. The compressor went out on it in a year. It was under warranty.Called customer support whom referred me to one of their service providers. They came out after 3 weeks, because apparently they did not have the part and when the part did come in some of it was missing. When they did come out and repair it it broke down again the very next day. I have been 7 weeks now without a refrigerator. Their customer support has not been helpful at all. They have an attitude of they don't care. This has been a very frustrating situation. On another note the brand new dishwasher will not start with the first punch and it molds on the dishes just after 2 days so forget a loaded dishwasher when you wash. The stove is a different story in and of itself. Buyer beware!
LG needs to discontinue and stop selling refrigerators! Our fridge lasted barely a year before giving out. Every technician I have contacted has said LG is the worst and not easy to fix. They are known for their compressors going out and are too expensive to replace. I will never buy LG again and they should not be allowed to continue production especially at their outrageous prices
One star because I couldn't choose zero. My washer was 2 yo, I paid just under $1,000. It is misleading as it says on the machine, 10 year warranty. Come to find out the warranty is not for the mother board. The mother board went out, LG has none I. Stock and no longer makes this part. This washer was not on a close out sale. Who sells a full priced product and is unable to support it for 2 years? When I emailed and called the company I had no response at all. Don't buy LG!

I purchased my entire kitchen through ABT, which was all LG appliances. Within the first couple years, the refrigerator compressor burned out and the stove also burned out. Recently, the dishwasher motor has burned out. This was diagnosed over the phone through LG and ABT appliances by the error code that was displayed and the burnt motor smell coming from the unit. Fortunately, the dishwasher motor has a 10 year warranty but LG, and ABT refuse to replace the motor or swap it out, unless I pay a service fee and wait multiple weeks for a tech to come out even though I work on these machines all the time, and I am fully capable of replacing the motor myself. I want customers to be aware that LG appliances do not last longer than a couple years before they will need service. After talking to a tech, I was informed that there is a class action lawsuit against LG for their refrigerators and in his experience LG appliances are not worth the money and will continue to cost you money as long as you own them. Also I'd like to add while on the phone with LG customer service to see if they would replace the motor or swap it out or at least give me a discount on it even though it's warranted so I can get the repair done sooner I was hung up on unknowingly and stayed on the line for 30 minutes before hanging up.
Model LDT5678SS. Control on top. Used 10 times & it leaks from lower right of door. Had 2 repairmen out; replaced various parts; still leaks. Think it is a defective bottom door seal. Have taped door which helps some. LG non responsive.

Bought our new fridge on Black Friday deal last November. Waited to install it until our house was done being built which was a month ago. Until then the fridge sat in my parents garage. When we moved in a month ago we Installed our "new" fridge and got an error code "CHE". Had a service guy out here 3 times and still not working. The customer service people are very unhelpful and rude. Will never buy a LG unit again. Very disappointed! Won't recommend LG to anyone. We have 9 month old twins and not having a working fridge isn't OK! I would give them a 0 star rating.

LG stole over £600
I've ordered a monitor a week and a half in advance for a birthday. On the day of the delivery I was informed by the delivery company that LG has not dispatched my order. After calling them multiple times and being told that they will only have the item in stock almost a week later, I've decided to cancel.
I was told that it will take 19 working days to get a refund, which was already ridiculous, but now 10 days later, I'm being told that that's it's going to take another 14! Working days for the refund ( and that's after I had to call them to get this information).
Biggest piece of advice! Get your stuff on Amazon or smt. Just not on LG, unless you want to get your money stolen.
