Bought my LG washing machine two and a half years ago and surprise surprise it blows up just after the warranty runs out. Had it assessed and it comes back as oil in the motor but LG is taking no responsibility as the machine shouldn't have oil so the blame is on me like I would open the machine and pour oil in it.
LG French door refrigerator is the worst Refrigerator I've EVER owned! Do NOT buy LG refrigerator, compressor went out 1 year after buying brand new, 2 weeks later need Freon, 3 years after buying brand new now has a major leak in coils! NEVER will buy LG product again!
We bought all LG appliances for our new house. The refrigerator has been nothing but a problem, and trying to get LG to fix it has been nothing but a pain. Passed from one person to the next getting asked the same questions over and over again. One lady said they would cover it 100% then a man with a horrible accent that you couldn't even understand said it wasn't covered. Now being told some of it is covered and some of it isn't. Our dishwasher doesn't even get the dishes clean absolutely horrible appliances ALL OF THEM are HORRIBLE! Do not buy LG it's a waste of your hard earned money!
Bought a refrigerator from hhgregg brand LG not less than a month goes by when I start having issues with freezer door not closing ruined over $200.00 dollars in meats had bought an extended warranty to no avail tried making appointments tech could never make it, thier customer service just sucks just like thier product i will never buy from HHGreg not or LG proucts again there is so much more that needs to be said so that customers will know how $#*!ty both these two companies are
I figured that what I spent for a 65" TV that I could watch my dvd's and connect to my digital Denon receiver. I was wrong. I have purchased the connectors and nothing works. I have specialized instructional DVDs and cannot watch. Should have gone with Sony or another MFG with supported connectors.
I prachese water purifier before 3 days still no one come fix this I get only message when I call tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow so sad please fix this issue no one have time wating now's days every one time costly
We purchased an expensive refrigerator from LG two years ago. Right before the extended warranty ended the refrigerator stopped cooling. They sent a repairman and worked again for a month. Recently the company sent me a video of how to remove the doors. LG DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM BY A SAMSUNG INSTEAD.
Unrealistic terms for the rebate. I purchased on 7-12-2022 and was required to do the rebate paperwork by a certain date, but the website required a serial # to complete. I did not recieve the items until 3 weeks later and the rebate ended before I could complete the rebate forms. Now I am out 569.00, such bull$#*!. The only reason I purchased the freezer with the new fridge is because of the BOGO free option. *******@att.net
I recently purchased an LG dryer during their Black Friday sale. Despite paying in full, the delivery date has been repeatedly delayed with no explanation or revised timeline. The customer service department has been nothing but unhelpful, offering vague responses, empty promises, and a complete lack of transparency.
To date, I have:
-Submitted multiple online complaints, receiving only a call promising further action that never materialized.
-Contacted the Voice of the Customer team via email, but was completely ignored.
-Called customer service on numerous occasions, each time being met with frustration and disappointment.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. I've been without a dryer for weeks, creating unnecessary burdens and disruptions to my daily life. LG's complete disregard for my concerns and their failure to provide any real information has eroded my trust in the brand.
Avoid LG at all costs if you value timely deliveries, clear communication, and responsive customer service. This company clearly does not prioritize its customers' satisfaction.

I bought an LG fridge and purchased an extended warranty. Fridge failed 3x and we had it repaired 2x and 3rd time they deemed it unrepairable. After being without a fridge and living out of a cooler for months we finally had to purchase a new fridge. LG will not give us a new fridge or our money back even though we had all these warranties in place. They are a $#*! company and I will never buy from them again!
Stopped working after nine months
This LG refrigerator (model LMXS*******D) stopped cooling after nine months. Even worse was the customer service process through LG. I was without a fridge for 3-1/2 weeks before LG contracted A & E Service to do the repair. I estimate I made 28 phone calls, texts, or e-mails to LG to try and get warranty service. Multiple phone calls after repair to try and receive compensation for lost food. LG service holds you captive, will not allow you to speak with supervisors, will not return calls and will hang up on you. I can confidently say I would never purchase another LG product.
If there would have been a option to give them negative rating, i would chose that. Ordered tv, it was defective, tried support steps and then in the end, rep refused return request
Recently purchased this unit. Washer line for drainage too short. Discharge extension kit advertised by LG. Subcontractors are used by LG for parts ordering. These subs don't get orders properly filled. Have received a "substitution" which does not fit and a dishwasher extension line, despite my ordering the part with it's LG number. When you get a substitution, you have not authorized, Encompass sends a statement that return authorization requires "approval." When you call, a robot asks dumb questions like "how long has this been a problem?" You get nowhere. Then you are told that for $5 you can reach a "specialist."
Seems obvious LG sells only-- there is no avenue for reasonable assistance. If you buy from a big box store like Home Depot, as I did, you can't return without penalty after you've spent weeks
Just trying to obtain install parts (you didn't know were needed prior to delivery). Parts aren't stocked at purchase points. So, my buying a glamorous and expensive LG unit is a disappointment indeed. Will be making an adaptation of some kind myself and never purchasing LG again.
Design and manufacturing flaws prevent the water filter on the new refrigerator from being replaced. LG is not replying to my emails and only sent a list of third-party repair shops for me to pay OUT OF POCKET for a MANUFACTURING DEFECT. Never, ever buy an LG appliance. They are faulty. You will get NO support, and a worthless warranty. Now I am stuck with a fridge that can't even hold a water filter or I can pay $500 to get LG's design/manufacturing issue fixed by a third party. This is an appliance that is less than 3 years old.

Have been trying to get warranty service on LG topline washer for a WEEK. Calls NEVER returned or CUT OFF. Spent hours each day and service representatives cut you off even with polite explanations of your issue. My next reports will go regulatory government agencies. LG DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES. PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK! 1 year warranties are a sham and are not a commitment. Their motto "Life's Good"? More like "Life's GARBAGE" when it comes to LG service.
We bought LG Fridge (71,000/-), LG Oven, LG Air Conditioner, all the things which we bought from lg are really bad and getting complaint in every month.
They said the Compressor of the Fridge has a guarantee of 10 years and in 1 and half years the compressor has dead.
Likewise, we bought LG charcoal oven, that too in less than 1 year the door of the oven got complaint.
The AC which we bought from them is also getting complaint in every 3 months.
The only thing which is good about LG is that, they are having good service timing.
I got a refrigerator from them 8 years ago suddenly a month ago my freezer went down. I called LG customer service they said I was out of Warranty and they'll send a technician 2 days later. I requested someone sooner so they recommended me to a company they're affiliated with. Within a day the fridge wasn't freezing the way it's supposed to again. Eventually Everything defrosted.The company they sent me to had no technicians available for 2 weeks so I took none of their technicians for $631.00. They came and the refrigerator was working just fine for 4 days and then it went out on me again and all of my food defrosted. I called them and they are taking about 3 days to send someone to see what else can be done. It has been a living Hell not having a working freezer and refrigerator in the middle of an ongoing heatwave. I have a back up plan in place. I ordered a freezer and a munu fridge just in case they can't fix it tomorrow or it happens to break down again after their alleged "repair" The moral of the story is DO NOT purchase ANYTHING from them. I ordered a sound bar for my son on XMAS. LG recommended the SPY9A. I bought it on 12/6, received delivery on 12/9. Tried to integrate on my son's system (not doable with several HDMI inputs - XBOX, PS, DVD players etc.) No joy. Called LG on the 28th. They said so sorry, you had until the 24th - 25 CALENDAR days. Really? So here i am stuck with something that is not useful to me. Anyone need a sound bar cheap?
BUYER BEWARE! Product stated falling apart 2 weeks after I received it. LG refused to warranty. I wish someone would have warned me that LG product warranty is useless, so I am trying to warn others. If you buy an LG product, buy an extended warranty because LG sells junk.
Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
