Omg where to start. This site, at least in my case attracts criminals and manipulators worse than Craigslist.
Ridiculous waste of time! I'm going back to CL! At least you can dialog with the seller there. Letgo, you're fired!
This is a terrible app! One change that could help - Show everyone interested in your product past/recent dialogue. No opt out
I have had no problems on here and the people that contacted me were great! Better than having a yard sale.
Found what I wanted, contacted seller, she asked my address, the web page went frozen, so I or olost my item.
I've never seen people behave more like animals in my life. I had 6 offers on my outdoor furniture of which i gave the first person to respond the opportunity to buy the product. THEN one of the other 6 people who had interest in the product sent me 25 messages in a row (barely in English!) all said please please please I need this now I need this now sell it to me sell it to me now. When the first buyer flaked (was not the first time someone flaked on this app) I sold it to the maniac who wouldn't stop messaging me. Then when he showed up at my house he offered me HALF the price and said he would only take it for half and leave if I said no! NOT TO MENTION he kept touching me and coughing on me WHILE WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC and let himself into my garage to look through our belongings that we were not even selling! I kept telling him to get out and leave and he would not comply. An app full of complete morons and cheap losers! I would not recommend this app. It's like having a garage sale and having everyone offer you a quarter for all your products. Go live in your own disgusting towns and stay away from us!
I THINK THERE ARE MORE STIFF SCAMMERS ON LETGO THAN ANY SITE ON EARTH... IF YOU PUT SOMTHING ON THERE FOR 2 PENNYS THE STIFFS WANT IT FOR 1 PENNY EVEN IF ITS WORTH A 1000 DOLLARS...

Have 350+ ads posted running an entire gamut of categories ranging from Antiques to Wheel Covers. Receive a few dozen Replies Daily mainly, "I'm interested!", "I'd like to Buy it!", "Hi, Is it still available?". Always assume the Sale because, in my experience on other Selling Sites, these Replies are indicative of a Buyer actually Buying the Item. A Buyer doesn't send one of the above mentioned Replies without genuine intent to Buy. However, Not on letgo! Most people send one of these Replies because all they want is for someone to send a message back to them without any intent of Buying. Many who messaged that "I'd like to Buy It" immediately blocked me after receiving my Reply as to whether they were paying me Cash if meeting in Person or paying me via PayPal (Shipping Included) if Mailing. Some asked me to Text them and offered me Western Union Money Orders or Cashier's Checks. They're from the CL Scammers Crowd. One, when asked if she was truly interested in Buying or just taking a Survey when messaging "Is it still available?", told me I was an idiot because of course she was interested in Buying my Item. Why else would she ask about availability? When I replied back, "Yes, it's still available", I never heard from her again. Some Buyers ask me questions about Price, Condition, Color, Vintage, etc. that have already been clearly answered in my Ad Title or Ad Text. Plus all my Ads ask the Buyer to "View Photos to Determine Condition for Themselves". When I message back that their questions are answered in my Ad Title or Text and that they should go Re-read my Ad for the answer, I'm told that my Reply back to the Buyer was "Very Rude". Most Buyers admit to never reading my Ad before asking me questions. Must be setting my Expectations too High by presuming that a Buyer reads my entire Ad before messaging me with a question. Other Buyers attempt to CONvince me that my Prices are "Insane" and that they'll Buy at a Fair Price, for them, which means a 90-95% Price Reduction from me. All told, Lots of Work to make a few Sales. EBay, costs and all, is more time effective.
All this app is, is a garden of Eden for scammers. Stay away or you will get scammed. I can't stress enough. STAY AWAY.
Everything that i have tried to buy seller doesnt respond! Yes i have my notifications etc turned on! Very disappointed! Going to delete app!
I posted a couple things to make some cash and the people on here are either very weird, cheap, idiotic or have no idea what they are doing. I had a movie up for sale (since took it down and sold it to a second hand store) for $5 some girl asks if she could have it for free since it was free on crackle I told her no because I don't price match and that she should just get it on crackle if that's the case. She then proceeds to ask me if she can come to my house and watch it together. I then reported and blocked her for her creepiness. I also have up a graphing calculator that has a retail price of $140 so I'm charging $60 and its still in great working condition. I have people asking for less than half that even though the description says that the price is not negotiable and I tell them that The description also says if they do not have a profile pic of themselves I will not even think about selling to them because I need to know who I'm potentially selling to. They start to get all hostile about it threatening to have my account locked if I don't sell it to them for the price they want. I get too many "is it still available." or "I want to buy it" sometimes I get responses but they always want to meet in a back alley or in a parking garage. I always tell them no its either a public place or I won't sell it to them then no response after that. I was trying to sell Items in bulk (people could buy individually if they wanted to) this person wanted me to go where he lived which is over an hour drive from where I live on a maybe I told him no I need a straight answer and I will not drive all the way there I will meet him half way. He got all hostile saying he doesn't have a car and I should accommodate him. With all the crazy people I'm about ready to delete this app.
Let go like other sites attracts some idiots. The kind of people who get kicks wasting other people's time. My way of dealing with anyone on Let go, CL, or any other freebie advertising site is as follows. First of all there is no magic formula for dealing with idiots who want to waste your time. I try to add as much info as possible in the item description. I always state my price is firm, no trades, no low ball offers. Of course some morons ignore the info and ask stupid questions regardless. For those people I generally delete the chat and block if possible. Again no magic wand can eliminate all the idiots. As for meeting with potential buyers. My advice is to greatly limit how much time you are willing to waste. Small items you should always pick a busy public place. Preferably one with cameras. I have a Walmart very close to my house and it is perfect for meeting people. If you have a shady buyer, it is a pretty good deterant when they are aware of heavy foot traffic and everything is on camera. Dont let yourself be talked into a different meet point. If the buyer really wants your stuff, they will find a way to get there. When I have a potential buyer. I always use my designated meeting spot. Your ideal spot should be 3 to 5 minutes from home. I give the buyer 5 minutes extra time to show up and then I'm gone. This limits my wasted time to 10 minutes or less and virtually zero drive time and wasted gas. I'm aware that some sellers may be tight on funds and there for think they need to accommodate the buyers wishes on location. Trying to be the nice seller who meets halfway or even takes the item to the buyer is going to result in massive time wastage at best, and serious problems at worst. Remember just because the buyer said they will meet you. Your deal isnt done until you have captured your full funds. They may no show you. They may make you drive out of your way and then low ball you figuring you will bend to make the sale. Not worth it in my eyes. Your dealing with strangers, flakes, lowballers, etc. Limit your loss of time from flakes and you will keep your sanity. Good luck.

WASTE TIME TO USE "Let go" App, not tarffice, no one actually wants to buy anything. The app give the option to use the sentence to cut the price! Horrible app, no work!
Answer: I worked as a reviewer for several sites and when they have very little reviews or no reviews people like me are paid to say how great they are. You can verify these in Amazon reviews some of them praise items like there is no tomorrow full pages of nice reviews. When you see the contradicting reviews go for the bad one is the honest one.
