God I hate the letgo app! The robot system puts in weird titles for items I'm selling. Their system regularly pulls my ads for no reason yet leaves up ads that are in clear violation of their site rules.
And then there is that button placement issue. I can't even scroll through the app without bumping a button asking someone if it's available or that I'm still interested. And then there's all the people that respond and ask me stupid questions about the item that are already in the ad itself. Or people say they want to buy the item and never respond back. Then there's the people that make arrangements to come buy the item and never show up or even have the courtesy to return phone calls or texts.
The tech support people for this site respond back with a generic reply and sometimes apologize for an ad being pulled by mistake and tell me to repost it again. They ask members to report items that aren't appropriate or aren't allowed on the site but, if I report an ad for someone selling something illegal, they don't really care because the ad stays posted
There are a lot of shady people on this app who do nothing but waste people's time and like to make threats or change their user name and profile picture and keep causing problems.
Oh and then there's the part about people being able to follow you. I don't want somebody following me. I'm not looking to make friends. I'm looking to sell my crap and make some money. What benefit is it to me if someone follows me or likes my ad? I want your cash not your friendship.
This site has so much potential but the people who are running it are a bunch of idiots who must think they are creating the next generation of Facebook and really all they are doing is annoying the crap outta legitimate people who just want to sell and buy things.
Life is weird these days. It's supposed to be the people who do the right things in life make it through but instead these days, it's people who create troubles and harass other people who seem to get ahead. Everything about this app is backwards.
You're better off putting your item out with the trash because the people using the app are garbage.
They give you their automatic computer generated titles, lousy pic interface, lousy everything interface- total piece of pooh
The app sucks and the website doesn't even load. Nothing loads, not chat, nothing... Great site, foreign guys!
People are flakes here. They message me saying they are interested and then don't respond when I message them about the pricing.
LETGO DISCRIMINATES AGAINST PEOPLE WITH VISION PROBLEMS, AND CAN'T EASILY USE A CELL PHONE. THEY SHOULD STOP DISCRIMINATING AND CREATE A WEBPAGE
Love the app but buyers want your product, you say ok but don't hear from them OR you hold it for them, on their request and never hear from them.
Tried of people offering half of list price and the other people not getting back with you. Waste of my time.
Prices should appear in the ad without having to open it. Very slow app in difference to the other web pages.
Hello. I am a letgo member. I was interested in a car for sale... after several back and forth messages, the owner of the car, Senior Medic Staff Srgt. Dona Vitte, informed me that the car is in the Yukon, where she is stationed and supposedly will be deployed today for a year tour in Iraq. That she shipped it out to TORONTO for us to view. Today is the 6th of may, about five days after the car was supposed to have arrived and the day of her 'deployment'. I get this email response from her, email becuase her army base only allows for occasional email access, that I must first deposit the full funds of $4401 into and official letgo deposit site and then the car will be shipped. Apperantly Letgo would officially hold my money! So I'm asking do you officially have a deposit and payment option through the Letgo site or are you and I both being scammed? If you are interested in seeing this matter further, as it is your business that is also being defrauded and me personally. They made it sound very official and has mention this to me a few times. I tried to go back to our original chat on Letgo and you have CarlosJ under 'account pending moderation'. I did see the same car on your site a few days ago and as I was writing to the differs name that listed it, my message and the ad disappeared. Could not find it again. This is a scam for a lot of money. If you are interested in pursuing this Sgt. Dona Vitte, let me know... Majashome

We pay for a bump up. Its there for less than 20 minutes and the item we can't find the item. This is a rip off
