The company's reputation is significantly marred by widespread customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to frequent reports of scams and unresponsive sellers. Users express frustration over the prevalence of non-serious buyers and automated responses that hinder genuine transactions. Concerns about safety and a lack of effective customer support are also prominent, with many customers feeling neglected when issues arise. Although some users have found success in selling through the platform, the overall sentiment leans heavily towards disappointment, suggesting a pressing need for improved oversight and customer service to enhance user experience and trust.

No carga bien, el boton de retroceso te manda a la pagina pricipal cuando quieres ver una oferta, las imagenes no tiene precio incluidos, los titulos no describen el producto, etc, etc, etc
I honestly can't tell if people are trolls or not. If I message anyone best believe I fully intend on purchasing their item. It seems like no one is seriously interested in buying anything. You could literally post something that's worth $200 for $100 and accept someone's offer for $50 and still be told they will get back with you or they'll think about. Stick to Craig'slist
I get multiple automated requests amd requests for condition of the item I am selling or giving away for free. O feel like no one is actually reading my post, almost like its not real people replying. I think it is a big scam. I plan on taking down all my items I have posted asap
I set the price at 40 it is worth 60. I got offered 10. I said no! I was harassed and he put a bad review of me because i would not sell it for 10. Is scam!
I have about 30 or so items listed on Letgo. They get tons of recurring interest but due to lack of convenient payment interface make few actual sales.
This app has been the most frustrating experience. You will get tons of messages from buyers who hit the automated buttons: "is it still available?" and they never follow through with their inquiries. It's happened so much that it makes me wonder if the majority of users are robots or scammers. I also feel unsafe as your location must be on and they give an approximatation of where you're located - this is nonoptional. AND if you want to delete your account you have to submit a request form to Letgo, you can't just do it from the app. It's a joke, and a waste of time.
Tried to sell kids Shopkins party cups, had an offer, then the offeror said he wanted a stripper. Let him/her know I was not a stripper, received a bad review. Letgo did nothing to address the situation.
I posted a number of items for sale for a variety of prices, all of which were negotiable even though they were reasonably set. One potential buyer followed up despite lots of "likes" and inquiries. Seems more like a social media platform using stuff. Sold everything the old fashioned way, neighbors and word of mouth. Letgo was a waste of time.
I have way too many fake users in Letgo sending in response like "I'm interested" in 1/2/3 am with no items sold and listed. C'mon Letgo, creating fake users to generate traffic? Garbage.
They change the name of your product and the location of the product list a city I never heard of. And I tried several times to delete and repost but nothing happens. No wonder I haven't sold anything. It sucks!
My first purchase on this site was a scam. I bought a PS3 from this woman for 40$ I took it to the game store to check it out and it didn't work. I messaged her back and told her there was a problem with it. Any way I asked for my 40 bucks back and I'd give her her system back and she said ok. The next day I suggested a meeting time for the refund only to see that she has blocked me this app is absolute $#*! the fact that I'm forced to minimumly give it a 1 really pisses me off
When you list your items, and then do a search for them using the exact same item description and zip code, they don't appear. Moreover, what does appear is a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with your search. Searched for a dinning room table and got a mattress! Also, the buyers on this app are mostly just looking for free or uber cheap stuff. This is not the app for selling anything of genuine value or quality.
This app should be removed permanent. They will take business Product and remove it for no reason at all. They are joke. Bunch of ppl that rip you off here
I wasn't sure about this but it's the best app on my phone this app has inspired me to letgo of so many things I didn't realize I didn't even need or want anymore. I'm cleaning house and getting paid! I can't believe how fast my stuff is going My place will be dust free N about 2 more days THANKS guys!
If absentee "buyers" and low ball offers are your thing i would definitely recommend this trash app. Ever since i downloaded it 5 or 6 months ago iv'e only had 2 successful transactions. If they worked to filter out the scammers and the unreliable people it might just be a decent app.
A month ago I Agreed to meet with a buyer named Sid after we agreed on Tim/Place he asked me if I had any used panties. I Blocked him and reported it immediately to Letgo and saved the chat I always say Hi to the person whose name appears in the chat. When I Looked up our chat Sid changed his name to Diann when I looked back at my review I See Sid now had another review from a women saying she was offered 50$ for a pair of her panties. So if that happened to another woman what good did my report to Letgo do. Than I tried to report this Siko again on the app to tell them about this other woman and guess what they have message that says I already reported this user and doesn't allow you to update them about the continued Sik behavior of this individual
If I could rate- 1 I would... Dont do it, I signed up to clean out my garage. Nor only is it fake, it's dangerous. I didn't read the reviews until after I did it. I was getting silly one liners, never sold anything. Then out of the blue I start getting all these (is it for sale). From a guy with nothing on his website. He claims that he has the same name as my ex-husband. I was so creeped out I deleted the sight. This company should be investigated.
I posted several items to sell on Letgo, within minutes I got people replying to me, ready to buy things, without asking any questions. Like that was not wired enough, they offered me more money of what the asking price was, "to hold the item for them". I was stupid enough to give my address for them to mail a "certified check". Days later the check came for 670 Dollars, for a 50 Dollar item I was selling. I am holding it to bring to the police to report the scam. And hopefully get that person. The other "buyer" showed up at my door at 11 PM, instead of 7 PM and kept harassing until the police was called. I feel disgusted with the whole experience. It was my first and only experience selling on line. Thank God I read reviews on line, to not get any further with the transactions that could have taken place. I wonder if I can report them to the the police, court or anyone else for stealing people's identity. I will honestly take my time doing it. I am an innocent person, who was taken advantage of..
I was quiet exited when I found out there was another local site where I could sell my products. I am myself self employed and I need these sales. So I figured low price items with no shipping was a great alternative to EBay.
Well after several months I m giving up, too many questions " is this item still available". Or is it negotiable? Well if it is still posted no need to ask. For some reason I lost different items and the system tells me that is a duplicate listing?.
And last I have never seen so many insecure people when time comes to buy. Too many questions for nothing.
Either make the site more professional or stick with EBay the champion of all.
I have never seen such a ridiculous site. People rate what you're selling? I am not interested in being 'favorited'. I simply am selling something. The people approach with silly offers. The final straw was that my location, which is Florida, some how mysteriously became Oregon. Then it would not allow me to correct. I gave up. Just the worst selling site online. Don't waste your time.
Answer: I worked as a reviewer for several sites and when they have very little reviews or no reviews people like me are paid to say how great they are. You can verify these in Amazon reviews some of them praise items like there is no tomorrow full pages of nice reviews. When you see the contradicting reviews go for the bad one is the honest one.
Snap, post, chat, and sell. letgo, the app that lets you buy and sell quickly and locally in the United States.
