I listed a couple of items on letgo and craigslist--same items on both sites at the same time. On CL, i received about a dozen or so inquiries by email, then sold both within five days of listing. During that time, in received only a *single* message on letgo ("is it still available?", to which replied "yes" heard nothing further) and which i learned later is a pre-written message activated by a single click from the app. In addition, CL while easy to use, had a better UI for me to input important features of the item like size, condition of the item (eg, "new", "slightly used"); letgo has no such fields.

I only rated this two stars because the app and website are nicely done. But don't be fooled by good design or the funny commercials. I used this app to list a bunch of stuff from electronics, clothes and accessories, and furniture. Everyone replying was "is this still available?", people who don't know English, or people who just waste your time with stupid questions that already have been answered in the description/details.

A big issue is that this platform has only been out for a little bit of time, so there's many more sellers than there are buyers. Perhaps after a few years, LetGo will improve in its community. As of now, it has no benefit to me and only been a waste of time. I removed my listings and emailed them to delete my account. It felt really weird and discomforting for me to post my listings here. In reality, the platform is good. The problem is mainly the community of buyers and maybe even sellers.

I'm moving from a big house to a small condo and I had a lot of high-end furniture, some electronics, some decorative items. I put them on craigslist, Facebook and Letgo. All I got on craigslist were scams. Almost nothing On Letgo and I sold 10 items on Facebook in less in a week.
I had a few items that I had priced starting over $100 when the time came to move I tried giving them away for free on Letgo. Again complete waste of time

The app is super easy to use and the basic principle is great. Sadly the "people" who use it have led me to decide to uninstall the app. I had 4 no shows this week alone, time was set up to meet, none of them showed up and I never heard from them again. I will have multiple people inquire about an item then you never hear from them again. In over a year I have sold 2 items here. It's a waste of time, I'll stick with craigslist.

I like letgo.com I have sold many things on it over the past 5 months and met some extremely nice people. I try to be very precise in my listings, use good pics and am very detailed in my descriptions. I'm honest and don't want to hurt anyone or rip anyone off just want to sell things and make a little money. I never ask outrageous prices but yet I will get people that want something for free and get quite rude and abusive and snarky. WHY? Geez. I've had people call me bad names, use cursive language in their chats just because I won't give the item away in what THEY think is fair. The majority of people are very nice but it only takes a few idiots to leave a bad taste in your mouth.

HELP! I bought a car and was badly taken. Bought it and the air conditioner went out in a week. The seller super charged the system just to sell it. He also put stop leak in the cooling system only to sell it. I put $900 in the car to fix the coolant system then the rear bearings went out. Nice clean paint job, I thought, until the rust came through. I ended up selling the car after I thought I had it repaired an nd the coolant leaked out right after they bought it. I now have a car note and no car. The seller is Dustin Hall and I don't even know how to write a review to warn other buyers. This car was temporarily PATCHED up just to sell! If anyone knows anything I can do to prevent this from happening to anyone PLEASE let me know.

I dont understand this please I had people selling stuff when I question about their stuff they tell me to F off I report them to let it go and let it go suspend my account whats going on with the system I dont think let it go is very professional there are people there play games theyre not willing to buy your stuff but to make waste your time by going to their site and having people say they like your stuff but theyre not interested in it they just want to window shop thats the dumbest thing ever heard also Ive seen let it go with people or selling warehouse full of items were talking thousands of items that that seems very suspicious and why is it a let it go everybody selling cell phones brand new cell phones I dont understand the system I think if stuff is Stolen people get away with this its ridiculous I think they should really get rid of lotta people are not interested theyre just playing games on the site if you really want my advice go to eBay or Kijiji cycle To buy and sell stuff dont waste your time and let it go you wont get the money island of wasting your time I think the system is corrupt and theyre just I think its garbage again dont waste your time

It's not the apps fault, it's the people that make using this app a nightmare.
If you're trying to sell something in good condition for a rock bottom price of $10, they'll fight you tooth and nail over THEIR offer of $2. Sometimes you'll get stupid offers like $1. People want everything for free and get mad when they don't get their way.
They have such infantile behavior and it really turned me off of the app.
It would have been a great idea if people weren't so rude.

I dont understand why people say there interested ask if still available and then nothing, you ask if there still interested and you get no reply, it is both ignorant and rude not to mention as waste of my time. Dont ask if your not interested, period. And there is a user on here selling green Timberland work boots, his name is John Doe and his profile pic is of someone holding a gun, he said tasty things because he did not like my offer... this person needs to be removed and blocked from Letgo, does anyone know who to contact? Thanks
