I used this app to post a few of my listings. I attempted to sell some gold & pure silver items. Needless to say nothing sold. Fake people responded to my listings with B. S. offers. Some offered to buy all my coin collections, but never gave a price or followed through. I tried on two separate occassio s yo give this app a fair shot and was extremely disappointed. If you have anything you want to sell of value, then this app is definitely not for you. This app should be banned. No serious or sophisticated buyers what so ever. SELLERS BEWARE! TOTAL SCAM SITE!

So like everybody else is saying, the app is a complete scam! I also spent a lot of time posting ads for couple days when I decided to use it and just got a bunch of fake people asking questions. I would answer them but never heard back from them. As I kept looking into it more and more I also found out that they are generating fake reviews and even have a fake News article about shady buyers meeting Sellers or vice versa on letgo and getting ripped off. Its titled Something like, letgo advises users of app to be aware of certain individuals that have been Scamming buyers they even go as far as to Having victims retell their Heartbreaking stories, like the pregnant woman who desperately needed a cell phone and was sold one that could not be activated and other bull$#*! like that. The only thing that seemed to be real are small Retailers selling, furniture, electronics etc. although I wasnt looking to buy anything on the site I just wanted to see if anything was real so I called a business that was selling furniture and just ask them a few questions and their response was definitely Human but I imagine these guys are paying to advertise on this app but honestly dont know that for sure or how it even works with legitimate businesses advertising on this suck $#*! site. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS BULL$#*! SITE. I know I felt gypped for wasting so much time on it and from reading the other reviews, those victims dont seem to happy either. THIS KIND OF CRAP NEEDS TO MADE ILLEGAL!

I would like to rate the people who say they are coming and don't show up. People have nothing better to do than to waste your time. They call say they are coming want to know information on the where and when and can I come and then you get disrupted with a no show. I would like to be able to write on their page that it is unacceptable and only serious buyers accepted. We need another button that says "REALLY! Or YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING".

I have listed items for sale on letgo for almost three months and have sold three things. My listing prices are reasonable and I always entertain best offers but it seems like the people who use letgo to buy are looking to pay a tiny fraction of what you want to get. Its been a little insulting.
I have been harassed over $5, I have been messaged at 4am, my responses to questions go unanswered, a user who had several negative feedbacks (for harassing/wasting peoples time) now has a spotless record, one person (bought a $10 item from me) tried to pay with a hundred dollar bill, people have asked for my phone number and address late at night, I have held items for people who promised to buy and then stopped communication, I have answered ridiculously obvious questions (what color is the wood?) when there are several pictures of the item.
I think a garage/yard sale will yield better results. Letgo attracts scumbags and scammers.

Only 1 of 15 people who stated they were going to buy something, did. It is a waste of my time & effort! Bubbiebaby, for instance... wanted moving boxes that were FREE mind you & agreed to pick them up early in the AM. I pulled all the boxes out of my garage, stacked them against the garage, & 24 hours later they contact me & state they don't want them & good luck. Piece of work! In addition, some random person now has my address! Another thing is, I listed all of my items for a fraction of what I could get & people bug you & want it for some ridiculous amount of money! I would rather donate than deal with unreliable people all the time. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SITE! LET IT GO!

This site generates fake accounts which will ask you if it's still available but never goes any further. They also favorite you for no reason.

If you list something that another seller has listed, expect to see your listing removed due to poor quality, what happened is that other seller has reported your listing as bad and it is removed without hesitation, you get a message (one of numerous unnecessary messages that will flood your email box each day, messages are generated each time you click on anything, by accident or just to see what it is) saying it was removed due to poor quality and that's it.

When you contact them you will get a generated reply repeating the reason saying bad pictures or something while this site allows users to take a picture and do nothing else and post it! The app will give it some title that might not even be correct or even close to what may or may not be pictured since many pictures do not show anything that is recognizable! But those stay posted but mine which are perfectly clear with multiple shots and s long description with model numbers and full description of each item and its removed by a competing seller! The only way to stop it is to remove all others and send them a message telling them to stop now or you'll remove everything post they put up from this time forward!

But the thing is YOU WILL NOT MAKE ANY SALES HERE SO DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH THE FRUSTRATION! I posted the same items on OFFER UP and sold half of them in a week! Allbeit they were sold for a fraction of eBay selling prices and I had numerous no shows and constant messages from idiots and people who can't find $5 to buy things but still seem to think I owe it to them to sell it for less, always post prices for twice what you want, buyers will always offer half or less than what you post.
I tried posting for minimum and they still won't pay full asking, when they show up they act like they lost money on the way or simply offer much less, just close the door and tell them to kick rocks, they leave or suddenly find the cash!

This letgo apps is suck, bunch of scammers and letgo apps cant do nothing about it, ppl can destroy your review page easily without actually buying or selling any stuff from you, when you complain to the customer service they will just reply due to heavy volumn we recommend you to report on the letgo app under the help button, but when you report there again, they will just send you safety tips of how to avoid scammers on transaction. They did not actually solve the problems or they are unable to solve it, this apps is full of $#*!, 80% of ppl are scammers.

I have given this site 2 months and I am not impressed- for starters its a pain in the but to make a listing-often have to take several photos them email them to myself in order to post them because there is no phone app- secondly there is no notification feature- and the one they use does not work-Third and final- I was able to sell a few things, however most of the time its just playing tag with someone-low-ball offers-or people who expect you to accommodate them with the meeting location- (im not driving 50 miles to sell a $10 item) The ad shows the location of the person selling the item-in order to save time and money I will not drive more than 5 miles from my home-I wouldnt expect anyone else to either-I often have issues with the free items as well-many times people ask me to deliver it to them-I have been picking up free stuff since the begining of time and would never expect someone to deliver it to me-if they were going to be in my area and offered to drop it off Great! But really im not sure what is wrong with humans these days-Im going to stick with freecycle and ebay moving forward-offer up is okay too but letgo-not so great you have better luck with a tag sale!

I found two loveseats of the letgo site a few months ago. It was exactly what I had been looking for. Our living room isn't big enough for a couch and loveseat, so these were perfect. The girl I bought them from said they had belonged to her mom, so when she relocated to another city, she didn't want them. They both were beautiful and in mint shape. Best part, was they both were $50. What a deal! The young girl I bought them from was very sweet and didn't mind that we had to make 2 trips to pick them up. Great experience..

I get decent amount of interest in my products but when I tried to respond back to him my message is only get to the Let It Go server and doesn't make it to the other side I reported it several times they fix it for a second and then it does the same thing don't know if it's worth staying with them you would just have to check and see if you have the same problem the way you can tell is one check on the chat makes it to the server two check marks means the other person received the message I don't know if I will stay with this app

I've sold brand new items with a lot of detail and pictures. Most still in boxes and still selling in stores. I just don't have my receipt to return them and the only offers Ive gotten from EVERY customer is a FRACTION of its worth. And I've already lowered the prices but half of what I paid just to get them selling. STILL people offer $10 for an item I mark for $75, that's in stores for $150. And I tell them its barely used or new in box and still! UUUUGGH then they make ME feel like the idiot.

I have tried to sell my tablets, iPads, various tech equipment & soon after posting someone (I assume selling a similar item in the same area) will flag my item & Letgo removes my listing. It is infuriating, & the reason I am being told is poor condition & my things are in perfect shape. This site should not permit others to flag items for no reason. I told a friend of my experience & on his own volition he has chosen to do the same thing to other sellers selling tech equipment as retaliation.

I have sold several small, low-priced items thru this app (about $30 per sale on average.) I'm reviewing as a seller, as I have never been a buyer on this site. Overall, it's fairly straightforward, and if you're serious and do make your messages and intentions to the interested parties clear and fast, you'll probably sell at least some of your stuff some of the time. I did. One major complaint: you can't stop the crazies and the flakes. I had a woman named Gertrude Salli make an agreement to purchase an item only to flake out 20 mins prior to our meeting time. Then, after messaging me about her sudden flake-out, she blocked me from contacting her, totally without reason or provocation! I hadn't even complained to her when she canceled our meeting! She blocked me simply to prevent me from giving her a well-deserved low rating. I reported her total misuse of the blocking feature, as well as her flakiness. You'll come across a lot of these types of folks on letgo, I'm sorry to say. You may have some luck on this app, but whatever you do, avoid the seller Gertrude Salli for certain.
