I can't speak to their other services. However, I strongly recommend not using Lensabl for lens replacement. Based on Lensabl's website and estimated timeframe, my glasses should have been on their way back last week. They received my glasses on Feb 1st. Since then the order status says that they should ship within 6 days. It still says that today. I contacted the company for an update on February 6th. At the time, I was told that they would ship out within 6 days. Unfortunately, they found an quality issue in their process and had to remake the lenses.
I contacted them again today and they still have no idea of the status.
There is no phone number or way to speak with a supervisor.
They won't return my glasses.
Lots of other options. Don't use Lensabl.
There was some confusion on my exact prescription. I had to confirm some measurements from my eye doctor before things could proceed. Overall a very positive experience and I will order again. My only complaint was the back and forth via email took several days. A phone call after the initial email would have wrapped it up in one day.
I sent in 13 pairs of frames for new lenses using a new prescription, hoping to get new glasses with Black Friday savings. I received my package yesterday and am trying my glasses with fresh eyes today. Every single pair has an issue. The temple bars have been flared out significantly on my acetate frames at the hinges, and the front rims that hold the frames have been flattened out. None of these fit my face anymore at all. I realize some adjustments might be needed after new lenses are put in, but these are crazy.
A couple of pairs don't have the lens fully seated in the frame, so the frame is distorted, and I can run my finger around the edge of the new lens. Perhaps they weren't cut correctly?
Finally, every pair is distorted, so I get motion sick when I put them on. The rimless frames I sent are worse and unusable.
I don't know how I can resolve this and have reached out to Customer Service, but their reply times are abysmal and they are so curt. I know they'll say they cut the lenses per my prescription, but 13 pairs of glasses sent to you all have issues. I had a good experience with Lensabl a couple of years ago, but these are really bad.
I wouldn't recommend doing business with them and won't consider them in the future.
I put an order in November. I sent my Maui Jim Sunglasses (not cheap!) to get new prescription lenses to the company in their box. In checking their web site to make sure it arrived, the web site says that the frames arrived at their lab and the "lab is working on it" with a ship date of 6 days. My credit card was charged at this time.
This 6 days never changed so I sent an e mail for a status over a week ago-no response. I called the company 3 days ago and left a message (there message said they had no reps to assist). No response. At best it was poor customer service at worst I started to think they lost my glasses. So I tried a live chat and they tell me that despite what THEIR web site says they did NOT receive my frames. They then provided "the small print" that they are not responsible when you put it in the hands of UPS. This does not make a lot of sense to me since their entire business model is to make sure the frames get from the customer to them so they can provide the product they are selling. You would think if they had not received my frames in over 2 months since getting paid they would have reached out to me to ask "where are your frames?" But I firmly believe that they lost them in their lab. Even if you do not have the same experience that I had you have to give second thoughts to doing business with a company that has such poor customer service that they do not reply to multiple requests. Now I pray they will refund my payment!
This company was a day shy of making one month of me sending my glasses in for a new prescription. The site was easy to navigate and input your prescription in, but I was anxious about the outcome. I sent (2) Ray Ban frames to this company (Lensabl) and received one Ray Ban & Kate Spade NY frame in return. (2) frames; (1) Black & (1) Brown. Each has a matching case I bought it with. TO my greatest surprise, I received the brown frame with the black case and Kate Spade frame with Lensabl case.
This is totally unacceptable, and I am requesting my frame & case back along with a refund for the $#*!ty job done. I can't see far in the sunshade frame that I received. And to my greatest surprise, there's no imprint of Ray Ban on the lens sent back. This is where "Lens Craft" is better. I guess you get what you pay for and I wholeheartedly regret sending my glasses to this company.
I got a prescription from my Dr sent my expensive glasses to them it took way to long to get them back and then they were poorly made. Returned them for a re make and they sent them back and I think they were worse. They obviously can not deliver as they should and you have no chance of getting a refund.DO NOT CONSIDER THEM FOR LENSES

A bit of a longe wait to recieve my glasses perhaps because of the holiday season (I sent the frames in around Thanksgiving and received the glasses just in time for Christmas. However, the lenses and frame fitting is clearly quality work, the lenses even with extra coatings etc. were far less expensive than at an eye doctor's clinic. Overall really pleased!

There was a delay caused by a technical issue with my order. Issues can happen, but a perfect service would require that the business inform me before I have to ask what's going on. Otherwise I'm very happy with my experience and would definitely choose Lensabl again.

Lensabl charged me a $25 cancellation fee after THEY canceled my order for Maui Jim lens replacement. After they found they couldn't do the job (they didn't have the tools!), they told me I could order another pair or pay the cancel fee, which they said would cover frame return costs. I said I didn't want the frames back, so save me the ship fee and toss the frames. They said "Sorry, company policy."
I'm not sure how Lensabl's policy makes for satisfied customers, and why I should pay for Lensabl's failure to fill my prescription. Still, if Lensabl can't see past changing their own policy, I'll go with EyeBuyDirect.com next time.

I purchased Rx lens for sunglasses frame I already had. Excellent Rx with on-app measurement tools. Quality of fit and finish of lens was excellent. Speed was very good and Lensabl kept me informed via app updates and email. Very satisfied with total result.

I sent a pair of Oakley glasses in to have sunglass frames placed. After many weeks of waiting, Lensable contacted me and informed me that they lost the frames. Next, they had me send proof that I purchased the Oakley frames and indicated to me that they would purchase a new pair of Oakleys to replace them. Next, they claimed my found my frames. Then they claimed they lost them again. Then they claimed they needed my lenses so I sent the lenses separately. The lenses and the frames were in their lab for over six weeks. And then they lost the glasses again! Finally, after much prodding, they told me that my glasses would be mailed within five days. That took two weeks. Getting through to customer service was near impossible. Poor customer service, and quite frankly, the outcome was not great either. I would never recommend Lensable to anyone, ever. The entire experience took over two months.

I was sent a box with clear directions to send my frames to Lensabl...A few weeks later I received them with new sunglass lenses and a sturdy, snazzy new glasses case.
First replacement lenses had reading bifocal portion too high which obscured the distance portion of bifocal. Lensabl customer service requested measurements to be repeated by me to remedy lens bifocal reading portion placement. I think they will follow through that corrected lenses will be provided. The quality of lenses provided was excellent, and fit of new lenses into old frames was excellent.

I almost die with the price, but is a need...
Communication was poor at best. Took a long time and had to chase my order at ever step. Was pretty disappointed. Once I finally received my two orders I was completely happy with the quality of the glasses. I opted for the higher quality lenses and received exactly what I was hoping for. Though the communication was very poor I would definitely use them again and just wait.

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
