The marketing and idea for this type of service is spot on. The customer care is abysmal. It took two months to get back my prescription eye glasses.
I never could find a an 800 # to talk to someone. They kept telling me they needed measurements. My ophthalmologist and eyeglasses store would not help me get the measurements they demanded. They had me send multiple pictures of myself with my credit card (facing toward me) under my nose. I tried the chat function. No help. I did get a response from Jayme, but it was a struggle to get clear answers. All of the ease and enjoy,=ment of getting glasses was destryed through the hurdles and lack of customer care.

The prescription was exactly as it should be but there was alot of delays and you were out of my original materials for the order. Alot of stuff happened that wasn't communicated to me and my glasses were with you for almost 2 months and I wasn't told why until I emailed you guys. And after a week of using them I've confirmed its not the transition lenses that I was ordering, because they haven't gotten darker in the bright sun.

Customer appreciation lol

At every step my contact was professional, courteous and efficient- could not ask for better service - only problem was when lenses were received damaged I had to pay to return them to be fixed - I should have been given a return label since it was a damaged item.

Hard to follow up - Sent two frames with clear instructions for each, yet they contacted me for instructions.
Received one pair after a couple of inquiries, but still awaiting for the second pair. Really dissapointed

I sent my sunglasses to Lensabl to have them put in prescription lenses. They did a solid job but I did not like the look so I reached out to them to have the original sunglass lenses put back in. I sent back the sunglasses and never received any status updates. After several emails someone from their customer service department replies and says sorry but they mistakenly threw away the sunglass lenses I had sent back. I asked how they could help remedy the situation but they only offered to put in new lenses. Those were $400 sunglasses and the lens are no longer available to purchase. Horrible customer service. It took almost two weeks to get a response. I would not recommend Lensabl.

Well Done!

I am new to glasses. Doc said that i need readers. The slight magnification has made the world sharp again in side my reach. However, the off the rack readers are garbage! Lensable has allowed me to track down some slick frames that i feel comfortable in and have them filled with lenses of proper optical quality. All with the covienience of door to door commerce. Well worth the wait. Thank you very much Lensable.

Something went wrong

Getting my lenses took a while. I understand something went wrong, didn't pass inspection, the 1st time around. I did receive my returned glasses with new lenses on 8/22. BUT: something went wrong in the overall process. Either 1) my optometrist gave me an inaccurate prescription or 2) the Lensible lenses were not manufactured to the prescription I gave you. I have notified my optometrist (Kaiser Permanente) and am asking for a complimentary re-do eye exam. I also sent the following email to Lesnible on August 23:

The prescription seems off. My vision with the glasses is rather blurry.

Can you check the manufacturing specs for the replacement lenses to ensure they match my prescription?

Even after some glitches

I rate Lensabl 5 stars not because they got everything right from the beginning but when things needed adjustment they delivered! Lensabl tries to make things easier but when you have a rather strong prescription & a narrow face things can be more challenging. Once I rec'd my glasses they required some more refined measurements and a rework BUT they were there all the way to help guide me to a perfect job in the end! It's great to get some new glasses in the middle of a pandemic with little face to face interaction. Thank you Lensabl!

Beloved Frames Useable Again

I'm generally nervous about sending anything out to get repaired/upgraded to an online company but Lensabl made everything super easy and was transparent throughout the whole process. From The placement of order to receiving my new (old) glasses the whole process of getting new lenses for my frames took about three weeks. Very affordable overall and even came with new case. My only (-) was that I would've liked to see the frames themselves cleaned up a little better before they were sent back to me.

Good, could be great

My order was for lenses. I was stoked that the cost of $97 for polycarbonate was significantly cheaper than the $280 quoted by LC.

The online experience was relatively simple but could likely be improved a little. I missed submitting a pic for pupillary distance. Lensabl replied within 2 days of having my frames that this was needed, which took only a few minutes to submit. Easy.

My glasses came back and everything seems perfect. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is it took too long. Total time from receipt of my frames to the frames shipping was about 2.5 weeks. Following up to check on the order, Lensabl noted the first set of lenses failed inspection and were being recut. While they note this possibility on the website, why not get it right and solve for this? Inspect, yes. Make it a warning for slowing completion of the order? Meh.

I would definitely order again from Lensabl. If you're not in a hurry and can chance waiting, give them a go. If Lensabl can iron out their inspection process so it's not something a consumer even needs to hear about, and speed things up in the process, then the total experience would be an easy 5 stars.
