It took over double the amount of time they promised to get my glasses, but they were great once they arrived
Old pair of vintage frames, risk of breaking but they did the job and made them look pretty spiffy. Always seems to take a while, but maybe I'm just impatient.
The first pair I ordered in September 2020 had the bifocal line too high so I had to tip my chin down to see distances. This gave me a stiff neck. I sent them back.
The replacement pair I received in January 2021 were not much of an improvement. The bifocal lines are much lower, a smaller area, and placed near my nose so I have to look crossed-eyed through them to see closely. Disappointing, but I guess to be expected without an in-person fitting. I'm not going to try again. I'll have to wait until Covid is over so I can go to an optometrist.
Overall my experience was ok. Two things I would ask this company to improve.
Communication - I made an error and put progressive instead of single lens. 100% my fault. However, I had to reach out to find that out. If this company was a well oiled machine that would be the case, you would have a program in place where if something like that pops up and becomes a delay in a customers order, a phone call should be made fairly quickly to that customer.
Original boxes not shipped back - I shipped Tom Ford frames with the original Tom Ford Box + Case + Lens Wipe Brand New. That was not shipped back to me. I don't know if you know this but that's the equivalent to keeping a Gucci or Versace box. Yeah. Not ok.
In closing, this isn't the only company that offers this service. Paired with what's going on in the country and jobs being scarce, companies like this have to execute flawlessly, and that is just not the case here. Experience was "MEH" at best. Prob wouldn't use again. Thank you.
It took a full month to get my prescription Bose sunglasses, from order to receipt. In the middle there was a problem & they had to be remade. I only know that because I emailed to ask. For the first two weeks, your website showed the glasses in the earliest stage -- "at the lab," I think it was called. When your staff replied she said they'd go out in 9-10 business days. On the 9th business day I looked & the status was "complete, waiting to be shipped." On the 11th business day I looked again -- same status. So I emailed again, & was told they were shipped, "sorry if you didn't get the email." I didn't.
The glasses arrived last night & seem great, but I am not sure I'd order again.
I received a pair of glasses as a gift. Sure enough, COVID hit and 4 months later, I still hadn't put lenses in. I found lensabl and it was an easy and quick process. My prescription is the same as my previous pair, but the lenses are obviously higher quality. I'm very happy with the result and I will be using them again in the future!
I sent over a pair of knock around NERF special editions and spent way too much money doing some custom lenses, but it was totally worth it and I love what I ordered!
In the midst of Covid 19, as an elderly person, it was difficult to go out to get new glasses even as my eyesight was failing. I found Lensabl online and thought I'd give it a try. I'm sure they have had a lot of customers with the same idea so I wasn't surprised that the wait was pretty long. However, I received my glasses yesterday and the lens were perfect. Thanks to all the technicians who did a great job.
I ordered two sets of prescription lenses. When I received they didn't fit! Sent back lenses and glasses to be fit. I received only one pair back! This is been a very long process to get two pairs of prescription sunglasses way too many days in between emails very upset with the whole process
This is the 3rd time I've used Lensabl and I'm completely satisfied with the results. I have sent them 7 pair of expensive designer glasses with scratched lenses and all have been promptly returned to me looking like new! Before I found lensabl I would retire my damaged glasses and purchase new ones, which felt so wasteful. I am thrilled with the results! The process could not be easier they make it so simple to send your glasses in and they Were back to me in less that 2 weeks! I highly recommend them!
I sent two pairs of glasses to Lensabl for lens replacement based on a new Rx. While the entire process took a couple of weeks, the one thing that I so appreciate is that Lensabl contacted me to let me know that there was quality check issue with one of my frames and they would need to start the production process again. A notification like this means a lot just so that a customer knows exactly what's going on. This is my second time using Lensabl. First time experience was great too. So I will be using Lensabl from now on to replace my Rx lens. Great job Lensabl!
Great instructions and ways to measure. We gave a pair of Bose glasses as a gift to our son, which made getting measurements a little sneaky, but the glasses that came were a perfect fit with the prescription spot on. Thank you!
I ordered reading glass lenses with the same magnification that the reading glasses I buy from the drug store. The lenses I received have No magnification.
The lenses were not shaped correctly and it the frames have been bent out of shape.

Lensabl failed to follow instructions and later refused to correct their error. I obtained retribution through Paypal since Lensable failed to refund their charges.

I have been buying prescription eyeglasses online for years as it is such an affordable alternative to the optometrist. HOWEVER, there are many services that give inferior products. Not Lensabl! The quality WAAAY surpasses glasses usa and others. Love this service and will be back!
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
