Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

I sent two pair of frames in to get progressive lenses. One pair were damaged in the first round. I saw worse out of them when I got them back. After several weeks of emails and new photos,, I sent them back to be remade. Just got them back and one lens on each is still not right.
Didn't know services like these existed, the instructions were simple and my glasses came back in a nice case. Would definitely try this again if I ever have spare frames!
I had a frame I really liked but the RX was single vision. I needed progressive. I found Lensabl and calculated that I can afford to have new lenses. It was a simple and smooth process. Thanks again for the great service!
First of all - the lenses I ultimately received were great. However, it took 2 WHOLE WEEKS to receive them. Supposedly, they were delayed because the lab found imperfections in the lenses that they crafted during their first round. And they didn't give me an update until I emailed them directly, which they also responded late to. I needed these lenses and glasses back since I work behind a computer all day, and because I didn't have my glasses, I had to take days off (unfortunately I get headaches when I don't wear my glasses in front of a computer). This past week and so was a nightmare when it came to working. Also, they didn't send me back my original case that I sent the glasses in (Tom Ford brand). Feel free to order from Lensabl, just be aware you might not get your glasses back for a while :(
The prescription mirrored lenses that were put into my Rayban sunglasses frames make me dizzy. Can't wear them.
The shopping experience is -- and this is a good thing -- uneventful. I sent in the "designer" frame I wanted to reuse, and I got it back in a week or so with replacement lenses.
First of all let me say that I am a retired optician - So of course quality have the upmost importance to me. After taking a chance on my first pair of glasses, I was absolutely floored with Not only the quality of the lenses but also the AR Coating (anti glare). Impressed with the entire process. Now Thinking about getting a pair of sunglasses. Would definitely recommend!
I thought that I was going to be a repeat Lensabl customer because I have tons of sunglasses that I'd like to get prescription lenses for, but after my experience with the eyeglass lenses that I got, it feels very unlikely. The focal point is totally off on my lenses(not to mention way thicker and more glare than I expected) so it's incredibly disorienting and frankly slightly dangerous to drive at night with them which is a problem because I only wear glasses. I sent them back in to "get tested by the lab" to see what happened there. It took 4-7 days for them to even start that and then I specifically confirmed with the customer service rep that they would reconnect with me before sending them back so that we could agree on a resolution. Nope. They just sent them back with no explanation of what the lab found and no resolution on my end. Instead, I'm stuck with a pair of glasses where I have the worst vision I've ever experienced in my ~20+ years as a glasses wearer and a couple of hundred dollars poorer. To make things worse, I haven't been able to get a response from customer service for almost 7 days and there's no phone line to call into so I'm at their mercy and whim to respond.
Do yourself a favor... go with another company. The branding is great with Lensabl but the quality and customer service are NOT which is really what matters at the end of the day.
I'm happy to report that my experience with Lensabl has been really positive. Not only am I very pleased with the new, high quality lenses that Lensabl created for my frames; what is more, I'm seriously impressed with the company's commitment to quality control. When I hadn't received my glasses after a couple of weeks, I emailed Lensabl to see if there was a problem. It turned out that Lensabl's inspectors caught a defect in the lenses that had been fabricated initially, and sent them back for correction. When my glasses did arrive, they worked perfectly, and so I'm doubly grateful that Lensabl took the time and trouble to inspect their product before sending it to me--saving me the step of having to ask for a correction myself. Thank you, and I will be spreading the word to friends and family about your top-notch service.
I was happy with my last lens replacement, about 1 year ago. Your service has improved in small ways since then. It's obvious that you're working at fine tuning your product and I will surely use Lensabl again.
Wonderful company! Exceptional work! I will absolutely be a customer again and again. I am grateful I tried this service; it's the ONLY way to go!
The last few orders were great, but one of the glasses you sent me back was broken and the screws were out.
I had to reach out to Lensabl several times. Each time I was given a different estimate which would not be met so I would need to reach out again. I finally got my glasses back, almost two months later, and they are completely unwearable. The lenses are far thicker than any I have ever encountered - this not only makes the glasses look ridiculous, but they are incredibly heavy and uncomfortable on my face. No one informed me the lenses would be this thick, even during all of the back and forth emails. Had I known the lenses would be like this I would have requested non-prescription lenses be put in so I could wear them with contacts. Instead, after far too much time, I'm left with unwearable glasses. I do not recommend Lensabl.
My wife and I ordered frames and lenses es for sunglasses. We used the virtual try on tool and the real thing were pretty close.
The lenses were spot on.
A wider selection would be an improvement. The price is competitive but we all want to pay less.
They are 4 for 4 with progressive and distance lenses and delivery on time.
My post office notified me that the package sent by your company was returned to you for the reason of an "incorrect address". When you do receive the merchandise back if you could please re- send. My address for reference is 1194 Monteagle Circle, Apopka Fl *******.
Thank you so much
Literally got lenses back that fall out of the frame every few seconds and don't even curve properly. What the heck? Bad. So bad.
Even though the Lensabl Customer Care team and Opticians were very nice, sincere and supportive, the company just couldn't correctly make my progressive lenses - even after 4 tries over 2 full months duration, two tries of which were rejected by their own Quality Department. I believe that it was due to their inability to truly measure correctly for progressive lenses - it's likely that I will always want to go to a live, person-to-person fitting for progressives with a reading area at the bottom of the lenses.
I had a difficult time trying to order on line but with the help af your wonderful customer service we got it done. Great turn around time. Thank you.
I got a huge scratch in one lense, dont know how, I couldnt return it for warranty because it was the only pair I had.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
