Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

Even after taking your online exam which matched my original prescription my glasses came back with the wrong prescription.
After all the trouble it took almost a month to get my glasses back
I'm very disappointed I don't have any proper glasses to wear.
I'm a nurse and goggles are a new part of my uniform due to the pandemic. A friend got me stoggles for Christmas and they were super comfy but I was not able to wear them with my glasses. I logged into lensabl and entered my prescription, a box came right away for me to mail my stoggles and within 2 weeks, I had my new stoggle goggles! The lenses are perfect and I couldn't believe how easy and fast lensabl was! Thank you!
Glasses were larger on than what they looked like in the virtual try on. Also I sent them my prescription yet when I put on the glasses I cannot see clearly out of them. Something is very off for distances. I sent the exact prescription on my new glasses from eye doctor yet these I cannot see as clear out of then the ones I got from my eye doctor so that is very disappointing. And to send back to get redone will cost me money? It should not cost me anything to have glasses I can't use get redone correctly
I love the work they did my glasses are great... I sit in front of a computer and have not experienced a headache yet...
Sent my frames in December and I have been waiting for an entire month fir the process to complete. It totally worth the waiting! My lenses were perfect. Now I know that the process will not be as quick as I expected, but the final product worth waiting for.
The process is seamless and easy! My only regret is I waited so long to actually order.
I just received my fifth pair of glasses that I had Lensabl replace my progressive lenses in and of course they were perfect! I have never had an issue with any of my lenses even when I had to do my own measurements. I'm not sure how they have perfected it, but they hit a homerun with my progressive lenses each time!
I have developed a bad habit of purchasing very expensive frames. To replace the lenses at the retailers cost hundreds of dollars so Lensabl is definitely my go-to place for replacement lenses!
I shipped this to be fulfilled at the end of November and I got them back at the end of January. I'd like more of sense of the timeline next time. New lens have worked fine.
I am happy way beyond my expectations. Not only was this so much less expensive than other options, the immediate clarity of my lenses... well, they were perfect, even better than my original prescription fulfillment. I especially loved the option for non-smudge, dust and fog resistant, blue ray protection! And they were fast and mad the process SO easy! I will never shop anywhere else for my lenses.
I sent my sunglasses frames for lens renewal. Here's what happened: The lab made a mistake and got my sunglasses: (1) defective lenses, had dusts in between the lenses, which was visible in my vision. (2) sent it for a redo, my tracking said awaiting for the item for nearly 2 weeks.
I contacted customer service, Ann assisted me and said the lab lost my sunglasses. I gave her the pictures and my tracking still didn't work, so Ann gave me follow ups every time I asked since I was running out of time due to my work travels. Ultimately, my sunglasses returned with new lenses that are perfect and received 2 days prior to my leave.
This was possible all thanks to Ann. Lensabl is lucky to have her.
Every year, I get tired of having to get new glasses. There is a frame I love, but didn't know how to change the lenses to my current prescription. After some online research, I looked into Lensabl and the process was easy and reasonable. They saved me from wasting my favorite frames and I was also able to add blue light blocking for my lenses. They sent me a box to ship my glasses in and I know some people sent their case and lamented they did not get it back. It's clearly and explicitly stated not to send anything but your frames. I was concerned about my glasses being sent in the mail, but everything came back smoothly and I love wearing my old new glasses. It takes a little over two weeks, but it's worth it if it saves me a trip and some money.
Had some reading lenses put into frames. Website was easy to navigate, with well-explained choices (lens type, coatings, etc.), and the ordering system was simple. Got my box in the mail, sent off my frames, and they were back to me within a week! And with a great, sturdy case, too! Super impressed with the quality and service.
Nice and quick. Nice packaging. Nice case for the glasses and lense cleaner. The lenses are loose in my frames, so worried about durability over time.
Firstly, I'd like to say that the glasses arrived very quickly. That was good. What I did not like was that at no point in the process was I explicitly informed that I needed to provide PD (pupillary distance) and OCH (ocular center height) measurements. I completed my order, printed out the shipping labels and promptly sent my glasses off to get the new lenses I was so excited about. Only after doing this was I required to log in and look at my account, where I then found out that I could have done those measurements easily, IF I HAD BEEN TOLD TO DO SO DURING THE PROCESS. Can you tell I'm irritated about this? That said, up until this point I am the one at fault... HOWEVER, once the glasses had been shipped, I was unable to get customer service to deal with the issue for me. I offered to pay for the shipping to and from my house because I wanted the lenses to be as accurate as possible to my eyes. I would've been happy to pay the extra $14. Instead, they just kept right on making the effing lenses. The glasses arrived and, truth be told, they're probably fine. But if I'm going to spend north of $200 on lenses I want them to be better than fine; I want them to be as good as they can be.
I watched the lense replacement procedure online and noticed that it was finished and ready shipment. It stayed at that status for a long time so I contacted support. They checked and replied that there was a quality issue and the lenses needed to be redone. Eventually I got a shipment notification and the lenses are very good. I'm glad they caught the problem before shipping, but it did cause quite a delay.
After scouring the internet to find a custom prescription fitting for my sunglasses I came across Lensabl.com, they promised a custom prescription fit on just about any existing frame in around two weeks. Seeing as I needed to replace my existing glasses I decided to give them a shot. The lens customization options were vast for any kind of fit/lifestyle, so it was extremely easy to order my optimal pair of lenses!. After submitting my OCH photo I realized I had sent the wrong image, so I contacted support about updating it and it was corrected by the next day! My order did take a little longer than the two week time frame the website claims, being closer to three weeks but I had nothing but time and was in no real rush to have my new pair. Especially if it meant the quality would make up for it, AND MAKE UP FOR IT THEY DID. These Transition lenses are not only capable of getting darker than my previous "Premium" lenses but come with scratch resistant coatings, UV filters, and is anti- reflective all by default. All things I had to pay additional for with my old pair. And at a much cheaper price too! With all of it said and done, I paid SIGNIFICANTLY LESS for higher quality lenses. I really don't think I'll be going anywhere else for lenses!
I received them yesterday, they looked great, I was excited to put them on. They are too strong not sure why
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
