I have used a previous company in the past and that service was excellent. Apparently something happened with that company so I was happy to see that Lensabl was available. I suppose the time of year and the pandemic had a huge effect on my experience. I ordered my glasses in early December and finally received them on Feb 10... So a little over 2 months for what I was expecting to be a few weeks at most. Along the way, my original glasses were broken in the lab. Lensabl ordered the exact replacement. As a young company and during a global pandemic, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I was a little disappointed that when I finally received my glasses, the bridge was twisted and the left temple was not attached tightly - it was loose by about 2mm which with glasses is very noticeable. The lenses did look great. I am hoping that it had all of the coatings that I ordered on it. I expect that if you give them a try, you shouldn't have as trying at time as I did. Personally - I may just go to Lenscrafters next time I want to replace my lenses. But who knows.
Hesitant at first since first time ordering lenses for a pair of safety glasses that I wasn't sure could accommodate prescription lenses. I sent pictures of the frame and they said they could do it, so I took a chance. Took almost two weeks to get a box to send my frames in, but that was due to delays with USPS I later found out. Also, later took a few weeks to get the finished product, but was impressed with how the company kept me updated after I sent in my frames. They let me know when they received my frames, emailed me when there was a delay due to a problem that occurred with my lenses and then let me know when they mailed the completed frames. However, I gave five stars for the finished product! I was so happy at the excellent work done! I am a nurse and wear my safety glasses a lot for work. I can see very clearly and the lenses do not fog up so far! I am super impressed with the finished product and their customer service when I reached out to them. I will definitely go through them again when I need to put prescription lenses into a frame!
I ordered 3 pairs of glasses from them, one of which was a pair of sunglasses, as they had the lowest prices I could find. I made sure I got the works on the glasses because I work in front multiple computer screens all day so the blue light blockers were important and we wear mask in our office too, so the anti-fog was also important. Each pair took roughly 2 weeks once they received each pair, so 3 week turn around each, and all seemed well. The biggest issue was that neither pair of glasses had the anti-fog coating on them, however the sunglasses did. It can be forgoven for one pair that I wear at home, but the other I wear at work and in the world, so that was an issue to say the least. After a rigorous debate with someone named Rudy, I was able to send this pair of glasses back and after receiving no update for 3 weeks, found out they were being sent back to me. This time around, they hit the mark. These guys are still getting their $#*! together, and the turn around time can be rough, but inevitably it was worth the wait. I al sister give them and easy task with high index lenses in foldable sunglass frames. In the end, I am happy with all my pairs of glasses.
I was very impressed by my new lenses and have been even more impressed with Lensabl customer service. I have been in touch with them several times throughout the process by simply using the "contact us" page and always get a response within a few hours (even outside business hours!). The responses are always very personable and kind. They really go out of their way to make sure you are getting what you need. For example, I accidentally sent in my glasses case without realizing that you aren't supposed to do this because they separate the glasses from the case during production. I repeat: DO NOT SEND IN YOUR GLASSES CASE! They returned my glasses to me in a much bigger and bulkier case, and I reached out to customer service to see if they could send me back my original case. Even though I messed up by sending in my case, Hailey at customer service said they would look for my case to send it back to me.
I am so impressed by this customer service that at this point I don't even mind if they can't find it.

I ordered two pairs of lenses. Unfortunately, one didn't fit my frames. But I was able to send them back, and they promptly returned my new lenses and frames. I am so happy I went with Lensable.
It took about a week for Lensabl to craft lense for my favorite frame and ship it back to my house. I love that they included a great quality glasses case and lense cleaner in the box.
My glasses are not working for me. The prescription isn't correct and I can't see clearly thru them up close or at a distance. I know my prescription is very nearsighted. Not the right choice for me.
I sent a pair of Bose Sopranos sunglasses to have my prescription placed in them. They sent them back in a reasonable amount of time and I was satisfied. I decided that I wanted another color because the lenses are interchangeable. I asked just to have the lenses made and then send them to me. They said that I needed to send them the frames as well. More than two months went by and no glasses. Rhiann my customer representative kept telling me that they had technical difficulties and my lenses with the ne glasses would be finished shortly. Months went by and no glasses. Finally today I received my glasses with the wrong color lenses and my other blue metallic lenses were not returned. I have not heard a single word from Rhiann dispute several emails. I looked at my account to show her that I had indeed ordered different lenses from the ones that they put in my frames and my account records have mysteriously disappeared. I had Lensabll put some prescription red tinted lenses into a pair of Warby Parker frames. They look great.
Glasses are great but all my Wife's Glasses are "No-Line Bifocals" and when I ordered I thought the ones I ordered for her would be "No-Line Bifocal"!
However they are not and I suspect the other pair you have you will be making them with a "LINE" in them? Please if you can, make them "NO-LINE BIFOCAL'S"?
She loves them cause they are her Favorite frames but hard for her with the Line in the middle. She really does not need the bottom half much so the line really screw her up.

I ordered three pairs of glasses - first one pair that I was thrilled with, so I decided to order a 2nd pair and a pair of sunglasses. Unfortunately, the 2nd and 3rd pairs had lenses that were obviously super thick and not the same as the first - I had ordered high-index for both. I contacted customer service and over the course of several really frustrating and illogical requests, I was told that I could be sent a return box and charged a restocking fee (as the back and forth with the customer service rep took so long that the return period had lapsed). I was willing to keep the glasses, I just wanted to be reimbursed for the extra cost of the high-index that these were obviously not. Just disappointing on a lot of different levels, especially the constant requests for pictures, 2-3 days before response and the general condescension from the customer service representative telling me that "buying glasses online can certainly be complicated..." actually, not really - I've been wearing classes for 25 years and ordering online for 5. Not really that complicated at all. Too bad.
I first used Lensabl when I purchased my Bose Audioglasses. On that order they did a great job. The order was done in a reasonable time frame. I decided to make another purchase for the Spectacles frames. I placed this order on May 7,2020. As of June 18th, 2020, I still have not received my order. I have an online account which shows the order "arrived at lab working on it". I contacted the customer service online chat and after a few back and forth discussions, was provided a "shipping tracking number". The tracking number shows a pre shipment on June 10th, and in my last discussion told this to the representative. The Lensabl site still does not even show this tracking number on my account. I was told on my last email that the item has shipped. This is an issue to me as I feel like I am receiving inconsistent info, and I still have not received my glasses. I really would like my glasses, and at this point I feel disappointed
Since my last review someone did reach out to me and I provided a reply. As of yet I still have not been provided an updated status of my order.
All I had to do was place my order, print off the USPS label and pkg up my old frames. Off they went and before you knew it my old favorite frames had my new prescription lenses in them.
Was a good company to deal with in the past. I had bought a pair back in 2017, was smooth and good process at the time. However i am a repeat customer. Bought again from them this August. Paid for Priority Shipping and processing. Sent my frames in to them to have them fit new lenses. The frame came back damaged, with one new lens popping out of the top. OK, it happens. Gave them a chance to correct this, and sent them back for evaluation and repair. They ended up replacing the frames with new ones, and fitted the lenses and shipped back to me. New Lens was still a misfit, popping out at the top of the frame within 2 weeks. Getting annoyed and complained. They asked me to ship back i told them i don't have the box and to send me a new box to ship back. They said OK. New box never came. Asked for it again. They say they will send, never came. 3rd time. Request. They tell me they sent it. Never came. I have no idea if they are just sending it somehow to the wrong address, or are just lying and not sending it to me. No Phone number to talk. Live chat on website always goes as just a message that they might eventually reply do, they don't always reply.
I placed my order on Jan 1. After completing your order process and getting a copy of my prescription, I finally sent you my frames on Jan 10. Between that date and Feb. 3, I was completely in the dark about my order. The good news is that I received my order today. The bad news is that your communication with me as to my order status was woefully inadequate. I never knew whether you needed any more information from me or whether you even received my frames, much less when I could expect delivery.
On Feb 2, I reached out to your customer service department. I got a response the very next day from Megan, who saved your bacon. She explained why my order was delayed and made sure that it was expedited ASAP. But it should not have come to that when some simple communication keeping me abreast of my order would have been satisfactory.
The good news is that I'm happy with my lenses and will probably give you a second chance and will refer friends and family. Thanks to Megan.

I sent in some admittedly complicated frames to be fitted with lenses, and they did better than any doctor's office I went to in person. The packaging was immaculate and very appealing aesthetically (if that's your thing). They sent me a box to ship my glasses in, and sent them back to me good as new, without any additional charge.
That's the good; the bad is minor bit enough for me to remove a star. The tracking of my frames through the facility stalled and never updated again for well over a week. This wouldn't be a problem if it didn't tell me that it would be done in less than 6 days. It wasn't until I reached out that I was told that they were already done and would be shipped out shortly. Soon thereafter, the tracker finally changed, and a few days later I got my glasses. This is nitpicky, but I specifically ordered these for my job, so it was a little irritating to be honest. In the end, I have my frames back, they look great and see great. If they could clean up the tracking and slowdown on some of the ad emails before I've even gotten my frames back, it would've been a 5 out of 5.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
