Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

Was hesitant about having my lenses replaced. End result was perfect. Finally can read the screen with out taking my glasses off. Also have my favorite frames that sat in mr drawer for years.
Everything went smoothly... the only thing was I had to reach out twice for order status that was not updated. On the plus side, my glasses arrived unexpectedly since I didn't have shipping info.
I've had Lensabl do a set of single-vision lenses in an existing frame, and it went just fine. However, when I bought a new frame from them and had them put in bifocals, the reading lenses were oddly low-set. They re-made them, but there was some delay. I then decided to get a similar frame with progressive lenses. It took a very long time (they told me the first lenses they made didn't pass quality control), and when they arrived, the reading segment was remarkably low — practically on the edge of the lenses. Also, the edges at the top and sides didn't focus well. I had to send it back (they make the excuse that segment height can be difficult to figure out, but you'd think that between having it from my last order AND the fact that these were crazy low, they'd do a better job.) Had to send it back to them again. This time, it was done faster, and far better.
So they're reasonable for single-vision, but it takes a while for them to get anything more complex correct. Mind you, I've had progressive lenses done online by another company, and they've nailed it on the first go each time, so I don't think I'm being unreasonable in my expectations...
My husband LOVES his Bose prescription sunglasses. I ordered these as a birthday gift and though they were a belated gift, I wouldn't change a thing except to order earlier. HIGH quality product! And the customer service was EXCELLENT! Mark was ALWAYS prompt and professional! I might have canceled my order but Mark's timely, detailed responses elicited patience on my part and it was worth it. Thank you so much!
I ordered replacement blue light lenses back at the beginning of January. I expected around a 1-2 week turnaround time. Then it became February, and the progress tracker for this order had sat at "Ready to Ship" for over a week. So I reached out, and they told me there had been an issue with quality control checks, and the lenses had to be sent back to the start. Would have been nice to have been told this when it happened, but I was kept out of the loop. Then it became March, and nothing had changed, except that about a week ago I noticed the progress tracker had some statement to the effect of "your lenses didn't pass quality control and were sent back" below it. So I reached out again and expressed my frustration. A new customer service rep investigated, and then yet another gave me a very stock response of "We're sorry your order was delayed, processing takes 4-7 business days, yours had to be sent back because it didn't pass quality control." Well? That should have been 2 weeks, not 2 months without any contact.
On top of this? I had a very nice case I stored these glasses in. Lensabl threw that away and gave me their own, which doesn't even fit in my backpack's glasses pocket because for some reason it's triangular. So on top of a $230 lenses purchase and a 2 month wait, I know have to buy another glasses case because of some bull$#*! branding. I will not be recommending Lensabl.
It was quick and easy, when i had a question i got a quick response
My experience with Lensable.com was excellent. I went to the website and chose the options I wanted for my lense replacements on my designer frames, upload a picture of my prescription, print the provided lable, slap it on a box and mail it. They relived any concerns I had an it was quick, easy and inexpensive. Most of all, " I can see clearly now ".
Thanks Lensable.
I purchased the wrong lenses it seems on the site, I own that, it wasn't what I thought it would be. But now to get the problem fixed it takes 24+hrs for each email communication to happen! I email them, they email me 24 hrs later, I email them again that day and... yep you guessed it 24hrs later ill get a response. Then I send my purchase back to them to see if they can fix it. Email them when I see they have received it. 24hrs later they respond with all is as it should be nothing wrong here. Then I respond with a question about cost to upgrade that can be answered in 20seconds on a phone or chat and what is next? Another 24hrs of waiting.
Now I don't have my purchase and no idea what is going on with it. Again waiting 24 hrs for another answer or question at this point I dont know!
I purchased replacement lenses for a pair of Lindberg frames. The order process kind of went ok; the on-line app did not work. I went back and forth a couple of times on questions including how to get the segmental photo and PD. I received the frames on 5/15/20 and sent them an email on 6/23. This was the first time I had progressive lenses since cataract surgery 6 months previous. I knew it would take time to adjust and could not quite figure out what the issue was. When I did contact support their answer was the 30-day warranty expired; this was a total of 40 days total of which only 27 were working days and this during the pandemic. The next response was that I never sent in the segmental photo, the email confirming receipt of my photos by Jayme was then forwarded to Sam. I was told the best they could do was provide me a 20-30% discount. Wow! I should take the chance the second set will be any better when they had all the information the first time. The prescription is ok, the problem is where the progressive increases power on the bottom half of the glasses. Should you have any issues with their lenses, if you purchase them, count the days on your calendar exactly. Should you wonder about the delay in writing this review, it is because I have to get a new set of lenses (from someone else) since these have become completely unusable.
I am so please my glasses turned out much better than I thought they would. So Happy, now to send in the other 5 pairs, just need to wait on a good discount
This was my first time ordering lenses through Lensabl. I was very impressed with how quick, easy, and seamless the process was. Will definitely use them again.
To receive my glasses it took an inordinate amount of time. And this survey does not need to collect names and emails. Many companies do anonymous surveys.
I ordered new prescription lenses to place in my wife's favorite Chanel glasses. We followed your instructions and my wife was so happy with the ‘new' glasses!
I will never recommend lensabl to anyone. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and definitely will be letting everyone know. Especially through reviews.
My lens are blurry not clear like my old ones. The frames were stretched so wide that they fall off my face. Im afraid to bend them back for fear they will break.
Trouble initially because of quality control... but glasses finally arrived... very happy with both pair... needed something that prevented glare and these(day and night) glasses are great.
I've had my glasses for about 5 days and they seem to be really nice we done.
Customer support is very helpful and they helped me with every question I had.
Great quality and timely service. I would by from Lensabl again
I've had multiple scratch marks on my old lens and it was hard to see thru them. I had blurred images which can be very annoying. The replacement lenses look great on my frame and it's so clear.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
