I was hesitant because I've never used them, I dont know anyone who used them, but I took the chance and I'm glad I did. My Stoggles are perfect now. I don't have to wear a face shield or glasses over my glasses. This is exactly what I needed.
My (very expensive and beloved) frames had an outdated, somewhat complicated prescription. My local eye care office quoted me $550 to convert these progressive lens to sunglasses. Then I stumbled on the excellent Lensabl website. The entire process was clear and simple, from the quote, through the lens selections, to the terms and conditions. I had a quick question that their customer service responded to immediately. Once I mailed the old glasses the entire process took less than 2 weeks. My glasses were returned in excellent condition and the prescription was spot-on. I am very pleased with the pricing and service and will be recommending Lensabl to family and friends.
After sending in my frames ($200 smart glasses), about two weeks later I received the lenses in the mail but no frames. I tried calling, emailing, and the chat in order to figure out where in the world my frames are but I was always met with the "due to high volume it may take awhile to get back to you". I still haven't received any word on what happened to my frames.
UPDATE: They have now closed 3 of my tickets with them, marking them as "Solved", without even reaching out to me. I have since learned they have an F rating on the BBB and have had to open a case with the vendor that made my glasses (Razer) since they recommended them

Quick and easy. Wonderful service! I ordered a couple pairs of vintage frames off of Etsy, and it was a bit of a leap of faith seeing as I wasn't sure how I would get the lenses. Lucky there is Lensabl, who is perfect for the job.
I ordered and sent out my glasses in March 27,2021 and received my prescription lens from Lensabl in the mail in May 10,2021. I love my new lens but the wait time is a bit long as I waited over a month for my new prescription. Customer service was good in communication as far as knowing where my order is at. I don't recommend Lensabl if you need new prescriptions ASAP. If it was a fast turn around time for sure 5 stars but I had to ask where my order was a few times after a month.
Ordering was easy. For the prescription, I submitted a picture of my prescription from my eye doctor. I did submit an easy instructed picture for my pupil distance (I think that's what it was called lol). I did have to wait weeks longer than I thought. They received my stoggles in April and I just received it back May 10. It didn't pass it initial inspection so was returned to lab for a redo. Which I don't mind because I want it perfect. And it was!
There was an extended delay on my order, I inquired about getting more specific timeline and was given a very vague answer many days later. After a month of waiting I have finally received my glasses and I am not happy with the quality of the lenses. I would not recommend ordering from this company.
Took less than two weeks to receive my frames, process them and return the frames back. I was able to log in and check the status of the frames and it was not expensive.

This was my first time ordering. I loved my glasses, and the cute case they came in! The only complaint I have is they took 3 weeks to come in. I needed them for school, and they came in the day after I needed them. So that was a little frustrating, but other than that, I recommend them!
They were scratched, old, loose and cheap but I loved them and these glasses have gotten me through some hard times. Sent them in to Lensable for new prescription lenses and they are perfect now. Lensable even tightened them up and they feel like new.
I followed all of the steps and sent in my frames, checked the website to see if they were received, they were, and I was excited to await how they'd turn out. Unfortunately, after waiting some time for an update on their website, I wrote in and they let me know they did not have my glasses. Turns out the lab had lost or misplaced them because they had been scanned in and received. I had to provide images of the frames and was eventually updated that they found the glasses.
Then I proceeded to wait again, and after some time, I moved addresses so I updated my delivery address on their website and this showed up as successful. 5 or 6 days later I again emailed them to see where the glasses were, and asked to confirm the change of address. I received a very curt response stating "Order got picked up already." After asking them to clarify they explained the glasses had already shipped to the old address. So my address change, which said it was confirmed, never actually went through.
The website does not provide updates. The email chains they send are inaccurate, and the customer service rep could barely be bothered. This service cost me a few hundred dollars and I still do not have my glasses. Maybe they'll turn up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not confident. Also not confident that if they do turn up, they'll be well made. Save your money, go to a traditional brick and mortar. This was not a good time.
I ordered custom lenses to be put in my sunglasses and they turned out beautifully! I got the regular gray 80% and I have a strong nearsighted prescription (-4.00~) and they actually came out surprisingly thin still. Cannot notice the thickness on the edges at all! Definitely would recommend them. They did take over 3 weeks from shipping frame to delivery back due to their Quality Control but it was well worth the wait! It looks great and comes with a collapsible case and cleaning kit!

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
