I have no issue with the legal direction of the program, it is the antiquated user interface that will drive you crazy. Once you start it, there is no way to move backward or forwards to a different section with out clicking each individual page, 15-20. It is just maddening. If you end up having questions or need to check on something you will kill hours just trying to see if you included something or not. An then when you want to review it, you have to complete it to even take a look, no preview. So you end up with a revision for every time you make a change. Made me just want to tear my hair out. There is no reason to have such a horrible user interface in this day and age. Felt like using a tax program 20 years ago.
I have no problem with the services that Legal Zoom provided for me. However, shortly after giving my info to Legal Zoom I am receiving an enormous number of unsolicited email advertisements for all kinds of services, gambling sites, dating services, new tires, you name it! The timing can't be a coincidence! Legal Zoom must have sold my address to anyone who would pay for it! Beware!

I used Legal Zoom to incorporated my company. I had to call several times to get hold of a customer care agent. The hold was over an hour. Once i could get someone on the phone, I was directed to another person and she said my issue has been resolved and that she will direct me to another agent to confirm that but it took me to main line again and i had to wait for 1 hour. Also the $159 fee is very shady. Please be aware.

I established an LLC through them, and after finishing the process (much of which they don't even do) I realized they take a very inexpensive process and make it 10x more expensive than it needs to be and they try and sell you 1,000 things you don't need along the way under the guise of "protection". They are preying on the ignorance of their customers and charging them tons. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
LegalZoom completely ripped us off. We paid the service for them to take care of the LLC registration for our new business and ended up with no response from any of their agents. We ended up doing the LLC registration ourselves and sending all the paperwork to state/local registrants. Our account apparently went into collections as I just received a notice. These folks are snakes. Do not do business with them.
A lot of small business owners like myself get lost in all the red tape associated with starting or moving a business, filing articles of incorporation and all of the other things that come with starting a business. I've done this on my own and I've done it with LegalZoom -it's exponentially easier and faster with LegalZoom and you get the piece of mind of knowing it was done right. I will always use these guys!

After my first review of Legal Zoom. Someone responded on this site that they would like to make things right and for me to contact them. But they did not leave a phone # or a name. They left the email *******@legalzoom.com - I sent an email to them, a week ago, with my name and cell phone # and VOILA! No response to my email. Why did I expect that someone was actually going to contact me. They do a good job of taking your money. I should have done this on my own, I thought it would make it easy to hand it over to someone that can do this faster. I started this process in December, I still don't have any confirmation that my DBA is complete.
I think they respond to all bad reviews and provide the contact email *******@legalzoom.com to make it look like they are here to help. But emails to that address go nowhere and get no response.
You are better of doing things yourself or finding an attorney locally to do this for you.

Paid 330 dollars and after a month and half they still do not know when a simple DBA is going to be finalized. Spent more than 4 hours on the phone, been offered erroneous information, there is no supervisor on the phone ever and they keep blaming the state officials. They are just disrespectful arrogant and ignorant.

I have never been so stressed out dealing with a business. Every time I get off the phone with a headache! I spoke to someone in sales that assured me I would have something done by a certain date. That date is a little over a week away and the papers have not left legalzoom to go to the state yet. I wait on hold for many of my lunch hours. I am told everything will be handled. It is not and then I have to call back and start over. I am dealing with a nonprofit so I do not want to spend a ton of money to have everything rushed but I do not know what else to do at this point pay them off to move my papers off their desk!? I would NEVER recommend them and I am someone that Never writes negative reviews for companies I respect that they are trying but this is unreal!

I think I had heard about this site in passing, possibly on social media but have never given it much thought. I happened to find it when scrolling on google and decided to give it a go. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this. I used the chat system to understand more of what was needed in order to get an LLC. I was promptly paired with a representative and it was a lovely conversation. My questions were answered in full detail and they were very professional and patient. I appreciated that very much. It was an informative and brief session but I still felt very accomplished. I will be using Legal Zoom in the very near future.

Please never use LegalZoom. I have never before encountered such unethical service via the web, nor have I ever before encountered such awful customer service. This business is not consumer-oriented at all. First of all, there is no way to cancel your order or subscriptions via their site. If you request cancellation via e-mail, they tell you they will respond within 24 hours, but it takes them days to respond. Then they tell you that you have to call to cancel. When you call, you are on hold for large chunks of time. I finally spoke with a customer service rep, Yolanda, who told me she needed to transfer me to a "specialist" to cancel my order. I've been on hold now for 30 minutes. :( And they also pile on lots of hidden fees and subscriptions. Be very careful.

Signed up and fully paid for a Standard Divorce package with LegalZoom while ago and began filling my documents. Because life circumstances a held the process for a few years and then decided to retake on the case. I logged in and realized the divorce cases where now handled by a third party, I called this company and they said I was not in their system and that I needed to buy a new package, which I found opportunist. So I called LegalZoom back and they bluntly told me that because years has passed they were not refunding me anything. They claimed to had sent an email back in June-July about this change. My experience was very professional and must be classified as very good. Although, I had to make two small changes to the original document which I had difficulty getting made and took over a week and a couple telephone calls to your wonderful support staff to receive. Other than that delay, everything was great.

I wanted to start a "casual" Small business and just really wanted a little help with some questions from lawyers. They offered unlimited 30 minute consultation for a month. That was all I really needed to get my LLC for a small side business that I swatted to start. Great price and amazing value. I would have rather had something like 4 30 minute seasons in 3 months because I did need a little more help after that month but I was happy what service I did have as it resolve 95% of my questions.

Never use this company they took two months to file LLP agreement and I had to call three times just to get them to file everything. Then they refused to refund the money for a terrible experience and didn't stand behind their customer satisfaction guarantee.
