We did not use them for a living trust, but used them to create our business. They were awful and did not come through. Please see our write up in the "1 Star" section. I would not use them to create a trust for my cat!
I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THEM FOR ANY BUSINESS. If you can do it your self it faster and cheaper otherwise use and attorney at least they will get it done the right way. This straight from expereince.
I have been completely satisfied with LegalZoom and they have saved me a ton of money. I haven't used them recently, so maybe their customer service has changed. But I had an S Corp, Living Trust, Will done by them. I will use them again very soon.

Hi Susan, Legalzoom just makes the forms available to you. You remain oblivious to the real legal process of Bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is very serious, please use a real lawyer. If you use legalzoom, you will find yourself in trouble later with no help from Legalzoom. Use a real lawyer, it will cost you more money, but worth it. The cheap service of Legalzoom will cost you more in long run.
Today is July 20.8am. I called Legal Zoom's phone support 800 773 0888 AGAIN. I got the same automated response that their agents are busy. I waited for several minutes. Nada. Left my return call number. Lets see if they will call back. Really? At 8 am and everybody is busy to take a call. I understand they start the help line at 5 am. Still, they do not return calls. Since a Legal Zoom staffer monitors these pages, I might as well ask my question here: I recently filed an application for incorporation in CA. I got the paperwork from the Sec of State. It says its been filed. The information at the Sec of State website says my Corp is active. I understand I am to pay the State an $800 registration fee. When am I suppose to pay this. Nobody's billing me yet. I agree w Stan L. LZ is a great idea but poor executed.

If no one has used your corporate name you can still use it at least in my state you can, Legal Zoom has been very helpful to me on setting up business issues, I used them for a DBA I did the corporation because you are going to need a little more than filing with your state. Get all the answers from Legal Zoom before you proceed. I was on hold for a 45 minute period at 8:30 - 9:00 in the morning and then for a 30 minute period on a second phone. With two calls on hold I made a third call and referred to New Business as opposed to a problem and the call got taken right away. Hmmmm
Please do not use this company! They are RAISING prices on existing customers during COVID and then have 3 and 4 hour wait times to speak with customer service. My renewal price was DOUBLE.
Go to your LOCAL atty. This type of important stuff shouldn't be shopped around online... you'll pay big for your penny pinching in the end... I regret it and 2 months later I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN with a local atty who will actually answer a question ( without hanging up on me 5X as with legal zoom... maybe the "ZOOM" refers to how fast they disappear when you need them!
