Have used LegalZoom before, and it turned out to be a good buy at the time. Needed to revise, and this time found the site to be very confusing up front (before input). If you are putting together a Living Trust, the biggest problem is making revisions. In many instances, there is just no way to navigate back solely to the items you want to revise without having to click through the entire document. Very time consuming. Lastly, there is the constant push for $$$ everywhere you turn!

I needed too do a will for my son who is special needs. Carrie the specialist online from legal zoom was so helpful and so friendly. She was so understanding to my needs. She explained every question too me in elementary terms so I could make sure I got what I needed written down right. I feel so good knowing my son will be with the right people if I should go first. Carrie deserves a gold star for sure. I will call on her for help in the near future. Legal zoom is an awesome real will making sight.

I had a package in the cart but delayed due to a few lingering questions I had. I received a call without prompting - A Legal Zoom agent named Byron walked me through all of my questions. He was clear and spoke in a detailed manner to allow for full understanding of what my options were. We went through several variables to which he remained consistent and professional without the 'too-pushy' salesman attitude. It was a pleasure. 10/10 customer service!

I used Legal Zoom for the first time and it was easy breezy! The representative was excellent. He understood what I wanted to do and walked me through the steps. Stayed on the "chat" line while I completed the document. All around excellent service and knowledgeable agents. It was quick and the price is great. I will have my documents in 2-3 days versus hiring a lawyer and paying so much more and waiting for the documents to be drawn up. So glad I used Legal Zoom.

They are to put it mildly crooks. They sneak a bunch of reoccurring fees unless you are careful and monitor your accounts like a hawk they will milk you for everything they can. The fees don't appear right away it is only after two weeks that they start charging you. I shut my account down so they can no longer get more of my hard-earned money.

If you can help it, do not use this service.
I have been going on 2 months since I filed my LLC.
They lost my order once, forgot about it another time, hung up on me 2 times.
I wanted a simple LLC but they have been stringing me along for two months. They claimed that one of their representatives forgot to put the order through and assured me it would. That was a month ago and It still has not gone through. I have attempted to contact them and the wait time is sometimes well over an hour then they "mysteriously" hung up on me during the call. Horrible horrible horrible customer service!

Set up LLC for my wife. We have made about $2000 through the company and have paid legal zoom almost all of it as setup fees and as legal agent. They hit us with $150 and $299 recurring annual fees. Wife tried to cancel but until we can provide proof of change in agent (underway) they refuse to return the money. They do NOTHING to earn this money. Get someone else to help you set up your LLC and for goodness sake, do not make those crooks at legal zoom as your legal agent.

I applied for a trademark. I paid the extra to talk with a "REAL" trademark Attorney. Just about everything he told me was incorrect and any Attorney should know that filing the way I did would have never be accepted. After being rejected I hired an outside Attorney that, while expensive, change everything he could on my filing and got it to pass. He was laughing about filling a descriptive product name and expecting it to pass. This is the last time I am using LegalZoom.

My customer service rep. (Carrie) did everything she could to assure me she would take care of the problem. She was kind and courteous and extremely helpful. She fixed my concern in a quick efficient manner. If this is typical of the experience at Legal Zoom then you all are doing it right. I assure you that in 4 to 6 months when I am going through the motions of opening my insurance agency I will be using Legal Zoom products to do so. I move from a company agent to a 1099 contracted agent at that time. The goal of my trial run experience was to get a feel for the products offered and the level of service available. I am more than happy and I will for sure be using the monthly membership during my transition from employee to career agent later this year. I want you to know that Carrie is as much a part of me becoming a member later as is the quality of the products you. Bravo Carrie and Bravo Legal Zoom "A future loyal member". To be clear here, I had no issues with LegalZoom up until this week. I used them to create an LLC in the state of Texas in 2022. I chose to dissolve the LLC in January of 2024 and worked with LegalZoom to do so. They were helpful, I PAID THEM to dissolve it and received all the paperwork in finality in March 2024. Here is where I have an issue with them: they CHARGED me a subscription fee of $249 on July 13,2024, MONTHS after my LLC was dissolved and my subscription was canceled. I spent 2 hours on chat with customer service trying to get a refund for this and they REFUSE to refund me, even though they are no longer my registered agent and not providing any services. DO NOT USE LEGALZOOM unless you want to be robbed.

The dashboard is sleek and the sales people amazing. But once you start the process you end up spending too much time correcting the staff (wrong data entry), deal with conflicting information (name available but then not available etc...) and receive conflicting information from different customer service staff; can get EIN, cannot get EIN...
I used the service to make my incorporation faster, ended up spending twice the amount of time compared to doing it myself directly with the state.
