They will charge you a lot of money that you have to flight for days and maybe cannot get back and they will put you on hold and kicking you around with different departments, all service people are very sneaky. Don't choose the fast package $540 because it will take 20-30 days anyway, then when you call them, they will tell you the government are very slow, I have registered 4 companies with Legal zoom in the past 6 years, they are slow every single time, but they still advertise 7-10 business days on their site. I am so frustrated so just gonna give up this one and move on with another company

All we wanted was to trade mark our business name and the website quotes $69.00. What you don't know until they run your card is that the $69.00 is only for the search to be sure the name is not already in use. We entered all or our information, clicked confirm and boom, they charged our card $474.00. They are super fast about charging you but if you have an issue, good luck getting a response. I went straight to my cc company and disputed the charge. This whole experience really had a bait and switch feel too it. They really need to be clearer about the charges prior to charging your. Card LegalZoom, we won't be back.
Hi Carol, our website does not have a quoted price of $69.00 for any Trademark services. Our trademark registration package is advertised on our website as starting at $199 + federal filing fees prior to any request for information. Formed a business through LegalZoom. First they gave the wrong advise to form an LLC instead of a sole prop. Then they processed the wrong form to cancel my business. This error cost me over $1,000. I had to contact them 4 times. I was put on hold and the line kept dropping until I was past their business hours. I finally spoke with a supervisor who said that they only have one kind of cancellation form and they don't know anything about the short form cancellation that California uses to eliminate paying the LLC fee. Looks like they are out of their league but won't admit it. I should never have worked with this company. Very incompetent!

I paid for expedite and it was a joke. Everyday they would need new information after I specifically ask if they needed more information. The worst part is they are taking in more projects than they can service and the phone support ties up 1 to 2 hours each day of my time waiting for them to call me back only to have them call and tell me they closed and to call back again tomorrow. Not sure why they can send an email with they need something clarified further. Just talked to customer service rep and they said "they will keep an eye" on my order, but by now one can understand I might be skeptical.

After spending $5000 on a living trust over a dozen years ago [private attorney] we were hesitant to make any changes. But the kids have grown, circumstances have evolved, and it's important to revisit the dang thing. Looking at Legalzoom's bundles my husband and I were amazed at the pricing. LegalZoom has partnered with other businesses, to provide whole packaged services, it seems like either integration of their online services is not correctly done, or information provided is incomplete, or their partners are overcharging for something. I didn't have a good experience with one of their partner Business Licenses LLC. They seem to work on their own terms. Feels like pure drain of my money and time.

They signed me up for a wrong entity and I got screwed on $700.
It went through the secretary of state and the entity that they allowed my business to be approved for has never been legit. My lawyer suggest refund and legal zoom f'ed us. No one was helpful. In any way. They processed wrongly and we are out of money,

Not happy at all with the service I am receiving from Legalzoom. They promise to do something by a certain date but never follow through. They do not even bother to tell you that it will be late. You can set up an account on their website to follow the progress of your order. Unfortunately the website doesn't get updated. I really don't understand why companies do business this way. I guess that is one reason companies don't stay in business beery long.

As a friend turned Caregiver, preparing for medical assistance is a must! How can your answer Paramedics questions on Rx's, etc. without access to medical records and how can you pay a friend's rent or utilities? Lawyers are pricey and by the hour! A small fee & a great piece of mind = LegalZoom. Just do it!

I signed up with LegalZoom to get an LLC three weeks ago. Since then, I get a nasty email from them every week stating my account will be closed if I don't contact them. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes each time, I then have to explain everything to the rep who eventually tells me that I need to send in a document. It would have been a lot easier had they just told me all the documents that were needed up front or even when they sent the email. I used them to save time and each week I'm spending an hour on the phone just to find out what documents they need. I noticed in the other complaints here, the LegalZoom representative's response was always "please contact us." Needless to say, I'm on hold with them now. If you're considering them as a way to save time, you won't.

Filed for PLLC 3/30/17. As of today, 5/15/17, we are still waiting for our package. Multiple calls, and an EIN finally emailed last week, but as we still need the certificates we can do nothing but wait to complete our business loan. Everything, and everyone is on hold, and this has really messed us up. I was pretty impressed the first few times I used LegalZoom, but now wish I just paid the attorney. Did I mention this was for expedited service? I called about this, and was told no adjustments could be made.

Kris Wyatt offered me " real help " with questions and concerns about starting an LLC. " Spoke English " and didn't try to rush me through the process to "get me contracted." Seems genuine and a very good company ambassador who earnestly cares about prospective new customers. Someday all of you companies need to realize " personalized " service is still what your customer base is looking for. LIke Kris " answer questions "before you ask for a credit card number... you'll probably get more business.

Avoid like the plague. I thought it would make setting up a simple LLC with federal and state forms easier. Still fixing their errors weeks later and spent way more time than it would have taken to fill them in. Zero customer service despite having bought the "Gold" level. Finally you are paying them to have aggressive and incompetent service providers call you.

As good as they advertise in the first place. They helped me form my LLC a while back, granted, I do feel they could cut some slack on their prices, for sure, but,
Even still, they do very good work. And their agents all seem knowledgeable and are very respectful. But what stood out most of all, was every time I called in and spoke to an agent, they always seemed passionate and sincere. A huge difference from the normal "rush you along to get you off the line as fast as possible" type of service that seems to be the normal nowadays. Bottom line,

I've had nothing but problems with LegalZoom, Sure they filed my corporation for me, but on the wrong date and year that I had requested and had agreed upon. Nothing but excuses from work at home clerks, no confident resolution insight. I also paid them for trade, Mark services that were attorney assisted, this was a complete and utter disaster as the attorneys change frequently. I would not recommend anyone with anything important to do to trust LegalZoom. It was a big mistake for me and I'm now paying the price..

I had been caring for an elderly friend with cancer and other issues for some time. During this period it became necessary to obtain authorization for health care and financial matters along with final arrangements and a Will. I am 78 years old and he was 70. Both on fixed income. We were extremely pleased with the service and follow-up service once we contacted Legal Zoom. My friend died two weeks ago. I am so glad that we had the proper documentation at the appropriate time. Now as we go to probate I feel confident that Legal Zoom will be there to help.

This is not a reputable company. If your business doesn't make it Legal Zoom will continue to take money that will be automatically deducted from your credit card for up to a year. I would NOT recommend this company. Very poor customer service if you need help.

Submitted request for LLC in 12/10/21, was told I would receive documents on 1/13/22. Now I am being told, that is not how it works. Customer service agents on-line as well as live were rude and short, not providing any valuable information. Was told they would not have a manager contact me. Should have listened to what others have said about LZ.
