Common concerns include unresponsive support channels, difficulties in obtaining refunds, and delays in order fulfillment. While a few customers reported satisfactory experiences and product performance, these positive instances appear to be outliers. Overall, the feedback suggests significant improvements are needed in both product reliability and customer service practices.

I ordered a battery and was sent the wrong one. I got one email from them, then nothing. The company that actually fulfilled the order, powerlink999, has an eBay store, so maybe they are another one to avoid. I did find the correct item (a power cord for an HP laptop) is available from several vendors on eBay. This is the kind of thing that should be OK purchased on eBay, especially if it is actually an HP part (easy to see on the photos). So forget about laptopbatterylife.com.
I cannot give this vendor a negative so I am forced to give it a one star. They don't deserve a star to be frank. Poor service, poor communication. False promises. Cheap faulty product on arrival. No refund was processed. What else can I say?
Sent the wrong battery, was told to send it back to a supplied address (at my expense) which ended up being a customer of theirs! I received the correct item but not reimbursed for the delivery of the wrong battery to their customer. Sent image of proof of delivery plus email from the customer to say that it had been received and still nothing. Never recommend to anybody.
Wow - I have never had such a poor experience with a company. STAY AWAY from this business if you don't want to be scammed. I purchased a charger for my laptop, which did not work upon receipt. Seems they are intentionally selling non-working junk. Requested a return and customer service refused. They offered a replacement only IF I would pay for all the shipping (initial, return, replacement). When I asked them to reimburse me for shipping, they stopped replying to my emails. Ridiculous con-artistry. They are not represented by BBB (nor do they try to be, since it's pretty clear they are aware of their own lies). This business should be shut down.
This is without doubt the most useless web based company I have ever used, awaiting refund for over two months. STAY CLEAR IF YOU WANT A GOOD SERVICE!
Without a doubt the worse web-purchasing experience I have had to date. The product delivered was nothing more than a cheap knockoff, breaking within the first half hour of use. Upon removing the charger from my computer, an arch of electricity shot from the charger, contacting the side of my laptop. After days of interactions with their customer service staff they proposed to refund me 5 dollars and send a new one. I refused, stating that their site has a money back guarantee and I wanted my full purchase price refunded. Then, they offered me 10 dollars and a new charger, once again receiving the same reply. If you are like me, you may have thought that these negative reviews concerning this site were only a handful of disgruntled customers and your experience may be different; however I implore you, trust your gut feeling and do not purchase anything from these people.
Right now I'm not real happy, placed an order on Sunday 5/5/13, as of 5/7/13 no confirmation. Even paid for express shipping. My daughter needs her power cord. I tried logging in and they say I have no account? WTH?
Ordered a new laptop charger from there site. Clicked on the make of laptop and then the model and purchased the item. It came 3 weeks later and was the wrong one. I asked for a return address but instead they sent me another invoice through paypal and said they would send me the right one and also stated that it was me that had made the mistake. I went bake on the site and followed the link again and it came up with the same charger that was wrong for my laptop. Again I asked for a return address but they were not interested and offered a part refund. I ended up taking a case out with Paypay to get a refund. Poor website giving wrong products for items. Poor delivery and exceptionally poor customer service as well. Avoid them like the plaque is my advice.
Placed order January 29,2013 for a laptop battery. February 22,2013 still do not have a battery. Have asked for a tracking #, none provided... only repeated assurances that a battery has been sent. Today, asked for a refund because I really need to get a battery. They stated 1-2 days to process the refund. Why do I doubt that will ever happen?
I have filed the following complaint with the FTC against Lihua Li dba LaptopBatteryLife.com:
On their website the company in this complaint, laptopbatterylife.com, represents itself as "a professional manufacturer of replacement laptop batteries". I placed an order with them for a new laptop battery and, per their instructions, paid $67.95 + $9.77 shipping via PayPal. PayPal sent me an email indicating that a payment of $77.72 would be sent to an individual named "Lihua Li" (PayPal Receipt No: XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX).
I received the battery on 7Feb13, but the receipt indicated that the battery had been purchased off of a listing on eBay (Item#*******387) for $23.99 with free shipping from Skyline Engineering, Inc (eBay username skyline27). The receipt also indicated that the battery was an Acer (Simplo) OEM original, not a battery manufactured by laptopbatterylife.com.
I looked up the item listing on eBay and confirmed that Skyline Engineering has different contact information and definitely is NOT the same company as laptopbatterylife.com.

My complaint is that Lihua Li dba laptopbatterylife.com is engaging in false advertising, lying about the source of their products, falsely claiming ISO9001 and other quality assurance accredidation and is deliberately misleading consumers and business customers with false claims and statements on their website (see below). The prompt FTC investigation of, an action against, Lihua Li dba laptopbatterylife.com is vital to protect businesses and the public against continued fraud and possible endangerment from products of unknown origin and quality.

Found the battery I needed. Ordered it... waited... waited... waited. Never got anything. Two weeks later I started e-mailing them and I got a bunch of hog wash about my item was shipping soon. They even went so far as to send me an electronic notification, meaning the created a label for my shipment, but it said USPS has not received any items to actually be shipped, just they sometime in the future they would. On their site it says we respond to email in minutes, please notice there is no phone number to call ANYONE, all communications are done through e-mail. Well I got no where with my e-mail conversations. They don't even respond to me anymore. My only hope was that I did a pay pal transaction so, I got them involved with it and they said they will get me my money back. I did get an e-mail from someone at laptopbatterylife.com saying I would get a refund. However, the time frame they said did not hold true. My purchase was on Dec 8th and today I write this on Dec 21st and I have no lap top battery and I still dont have my money back. I do a lot of business online and I have an online business, and the operation these people are running is a total shame. No customer service at all and I can't even comment on the products because I never got mine or my money back
I bought a laptop battery for Dell xps m1210. It took 10 days to arrive when it did the description is not the same as advertised. The capacity is not 85Wh which I paid this company more than other sellers for. For the same one I got anyone can buy one on Ebay for £20 less and shouldn't have to wait 10 days. I'm still waiting to know if it will charge and hold power well as it is new at the moment.
By the way, check out the links on their page, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter. You may get an idea what is going on and how genuine this company is.
I was unable to purchase a replacement laptop battery locally so I purchased one through an Internet website. Prior to the purchase, I contacted the company to be assured I was ordering the correct battery for my laptop model. I ordered the battery they recommended. When the battery arrived, it was such a poor knock off from the original that it didn't fit the battery bay on my laptop. When I contacted them for a return, they were reluctant to give me return instructions and tried to convince me to try a second battery. They requested I send pictures, which I finally agreed to and they assured me they had the correct one and could send it immediately. The next day, they sent me the return instructions for the first battery, which included me paying for sending the wrong battery back to them. When I complained about paying return shipping costs (including tracking) for a battery which they advised me was the one to purchase and was not, they promised they would refund my return shipping. Apparently that was just a deception used to get me to agree to accept a replacement battery instead of refunding my money as I had requested.
When the second battery arrived, it too did not fit in the battery bay. Again, they were reluctant to give me instructions for returning it and instead wanted me to alter the battery! I refused and asked them to tell me how to return it. They sent me instructions, again the next day. The first battery I returned was not sent to their company, which I thought was odd. The second battery also was not sent back to them – also a third party. When I provided them with the tracking information for both packages, they indeed refunded the shipping. A few days later, I received another email notice that they had credited me, but they deducted the refund from what they owed me from the original purchase.
I am owed $11.55 for the return shipping, which they promised, while not a great deal of money, comes down to the principle of the matter. They agreed to pay the return shipping for their batteries and then reneged on their promise after they had received confirmation I had returned the batteries. Their batteries are of poor quality and they don't even actually have them. Apparently, based on their return instructions for two different batteries, they are simply a website that goes to a third party to get batteries and has them shipped directly to the consumer. Their packaging has no return address and are very oddly devoid of any information about where they came from. They have no phone number and do not conduct themselves as a legitimate business. All of this seems very suspicious to me and makes me wonder if they are perhaps getting batteries from an illegal source. Both of the entities they had me return the batteries to were California addresses, yet this company says they are located in New York City and one didn't even appear to be a company, just an individual. I can provide email documentation of the conversations and of the 3rd party involved.
I had really bad experience with this website and the seller ***. Here is my story. I was looking for a laptop screen for my lenovo y430. I searched so many times on google for it and in f act i ordered it several times from other wesites but none of them had this item in stock and due to that the other websites cancelled my order which is quite honest.
Then I worst day of my life came and i went to www.laptopbatterylife.com. I found the item i was looking for there but it is unclear that the screen i looked at this website is actually compatible with my laptop. So, I emailed them asking the compatibility of the laptop with this screen and i also send a link to compare price from other website.
Here their reply,
"On our competitor's website:
Flat rate shipping(10-25days) save 16%(1.30kg) US$29.30 85+29.3=US$114.30
(Standard Shipping(5-9days) (1.30kg)) US$30.40 85+30.4=US$115.40
(Expedited Shipping(3-5days) (1.30kg)) US$50.50 85+50.5=US$135.50
They apparently shipped from overseas. The LCD screen is very fragile.
Shipping from overseas could very probably damage the screen. We use
Domestic shipping only. Our price is:
$114.91+$ 10.14(3-5 days domestic shipping)=125.05(lower than theirs)
IF you accept longer shipping time, we can beat their prices as well. Thanks"
So, based on this reply i trusted them and ordered the item. Onced i ordered the item i was trapped in their scam. They showed that the item has been shipped but after 6 days also I didn't receive the item when i asked them to give tracking number they said that,"We will ask our shipping department for tracking number and let you know.". After spending 3 more days neither i got my screen nor the tracking number for this loosers. I started smelling fraud so i called paypal and filled claimed for not receiving an item. As soon as paypal handled the case they actually shipped the item next day and sent the tracking number to paypal. So, paypal can believe that the item has been shipped. Here, they I realized that how big fraud these people are. Initially they told me that the item has been shipped and after i filled a case in paypal after 10 days they actually shipped the item to cover their $#*!.
The story doesn't finish here. They shipped me wrong screen so i emailed them for return procedure. They were totally ignoring my emails like i am 2 year old kid who wants his candy back. It wasn't the candy loosers, it was my $#*!ing money. So, I decided to go to paypal again to file a dispute one more time. And the decision turned in my favor and paypal agreed to refund the money on returning the item to seller's china address. I was totally shocked because on their website they provided their address in NYC and in their first reply only they told me that they do only domestic shipping. I was so pissed on these people and wanted to punch them on their face. Let's move on with remaining story. As i got this positive email from paypal, I also got an email from laptopbatterylife and here was their reply,
"Our apologies for the late reply. We have problems with our screen
Supplier. We are still waiting for the return address actually. Please
Don't ship to the address paypal gave you(China). We should be able to
Get the correct address in a few days.
We provide another option. IF you would like to keep the screen, we
Can issue a partial refund of $20. Please let us know. Thanks".
They were asking for apologies for late reply. LOL YOU BUFFOON PEOPLE. It's been a month you responded me last. I was so pissed after receiving this and they are so stupid who think that after all these I would come in their trap again.
I finally returned the item to paypal provided address and tell paypal everything about this laptopbatterylife(stupidity). Com.
I want to say only one thing to the customers. If you hate yourself so much then only order anything from this website. Please do not recommend this website to anyone, not even to your enemy.

Whenever I buy a new laptop I usually buy 2 additional batteries for those long plane trips across the country. The batteries often end up costing as much as the laptop and I always just thought that was the norm. Then I found out that you can buy laptop batteries for next to nothing compared to buying them from Dell. I picked up extra laptop batteries and saved a bundle from this place.
Answer: Afraid you won't get any where. Try your retailer for a refund. PayPal and Amazon should help. Establish a complaint with both if that's how you bought it.
Answer: Sorry but they are useless. My battery arrived damaged and they wanted me to send it back to China! I raised a complaint with paypal and they reimbursed me. Stay away from laptopbatterylife.
Answer: I hammered them with daily emails and also left messages on their website - I finally got a response some weeks later.
