LaptopBatteryLife Reviews Summary

The company has garnered a predominantly negative reputation, with numerous customers expressing frustration over poor product quality and inadequate customer service. Common concerns include unresponsive support channels, difficulties in obtaining refunds, and delays in order fulfillment. While a few customers reported satisfactory experiences and product performance, these positive instances appear to be outliers. Horrible!
July 11, 2014

Horrible! This seller is a scam artist as well. The charger which claimed to be an apple product was not. It was junk and stopped working after 2 weeks. They ignored my requests for a return. I had to open a case on paypal to get my money. Their initial offer to me on a nearly $60 item was $0.01. What a joke! Don't buy!

TERRIBLE COMPANY
July 4, 2014

TERRIBLE COMPANY. Scam Artists. Zero ethics. I purchased a laptop battery for my Mac. When it arrived everthing about it looked legit but it wouldn't operate my laptop and it didn't really fit properly either. When I asked for a refund they refused and wanted me to pay shipping and return it for a replacement. I explained that I needed a battery asap so I already purchased one and just wanted a refund. They refused. They offered a penny as a refund through PayPal. BEWARE: PayPal only protects you if you are extremely proactive and upgrade your dispute to a claim or something right away. Eventually with numerous phone calls to PayPal and emails to both laptopbatterylif.com and PayPal, the seller agreed to give me a refund and sent me a shipping label. After returning the battery I waited over a week and then sent an email. No response. Sent another the next day. No response. Called PayPal, they sent an email and I got a response from the seller in the form of a PARTIAL refund. They shorted me about $10 after all this! I'm angry more about the principal and lack of ethics in this situation than the money. Please stay away from them!

I placed an order a month ago and still haven't received the order. They say that USPS could not deliver to my office. Email replies have been lame. The say they will ship when the address is confirmed. I've never had a problem with using my office as a shipping address. They do a good job of looking legit, but they are scam artists.

Never use them again. As above, I should have read reviews first. Didn't but I made sure I paid via Paypal so will be doing the Chargeback thing right now.
Ordered 8 bdays ago and still showing as not posted and 'processing' They will not answer emails either.

My fault but yea. Scam artists and I'll be lucky if I even get my Cash back I spose!

Steer Clear.

This site is a F***ING SCAM! I got a new AC adapter for my MacBook Pro. Within a few weeks of getting it, the white casing cracked off of it and I was unable to put it back together. It was clear that it was a very cheaply put together piece of equipment. I was able to put a rubber band around it in order to keep it together to continue using it. However, after a few months it stopped working. I emailed them (because they of course do not have a phone number to call for customer service). There was a warranty sticker on the side of the adapter, and I wanted to find out more about what that entailed. I was kind of in a rush to get it fixed or replaced, and I let them know that in the email. Didn't get a response, so I emailed them again. Still no response.

Looking back, I was in a rush to get a new one and should have looked in to the legitimacy of this site. I was just hoping for the best. If you look on the site, you'll notice that they don't even provide the ability to give a customer review... that is a warning sign if I ever saw one!

Needless to say... don't buy from this website.

I placed a battery order for my Sony Laptop in February. They then sent it to me within a few days and it did not work and to make matters worse did not send one as in the picture on their website - which was a Sony one. I emailed them within 5 days saying that the battery does nor work and would need to send it back. I returned it back finally after waiting weeks for a response to my question of a suitable returns address which they kept pushing back with requests for pcitrues of my current batter. I have my Post Office proof of posting and they have confirmed receipt but won't give me my refund and keep asking for more pictures of my current battery. It is now April 2014 and have nothing from them and they now have my money.

I ordered a battery from this company in November 2013 and it did not work. I have been trying to get a refund from them for five months! There is no way to contact this company besides email and when they are done with helping you they stop responding. This company is ripping people off. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They will steal your money! I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and they said they could not reach them.

Ordered a laptop battery, pretty straightforward process. They sent the wrong battery. After complaining I was forced to take pictures of the laptop, the current battery & do all this "convincing" to PROVE to them it was the wrong battery. Ridiculous! FINALLY they shipped the correct battery but I had to pay shipping both ways for BOTH items. Very Very Very bad customer service, the absolute WORST and SLOW, my pet turtle is faster than these people. This whole issue was their fault due to the incorrect number on the battery. Never Again. STAY AWAY from this site.

Beware
January 15, 2014

Beware - this website is a scam.

They sent me the wrong order and when I sent it back they refused to refund me. Had to go through Paypal who were useless as the website emailed me the address to return the item to, which PayPal said meant they couldn't prove that I actually sent it back, even though it was all done through registered post! Eventually managed to get money back form my CC provider. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

I purchased a cord and charger for my laptop.$36.47 including $9.06 for freight. Like a fool I did not check this site. The cord and charger arrived but the plug on the cord was different to the charger so the assembly would not work.
They advertise money back guarantee in 30 days. More fool me - I believed.
Well I had to pay to return the goods $6.95. The cost of return was $2 less than the freight they charged me in the first place.
I received a refund for only the cost of the useless charger $27.41.
I therefore ended up paying$16 for freight and end up with no charger.

I am just another victim of this scam. They sent me a battery that did not fit my computer, and I have been trying to contact them to see what I need to do in order to return it and get a refund. They say they have "live chat" 7 days a week for 20 hours a day, but they are never available. I tried to get them to explain what I need to do to get an RMA number for my purchase, but they will not get back to me. I too wish that I had seen this site and what a ripoff they are before wasting my money on laptopbatterylife.com. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Battery for macbook air purchased 4 weeks ago and has now stopped working. Sent three emails to get an RMA# which is required for returning for a refund. I intend on reporting them to the BBB if not resolved this week. If you don't provide a customer service phone number, you better damn well be responding to emails and live chat (which conveniently isn't working).

Laptop battery
December 15, 2013

Laptop battery - even when conditioned as per their instructions - is perhaps 20 minutes! It is barely a month old. [Should have been more than a hour easily.]

The other reviewers here were right - SCAM, SCAM!

BAD BAD BAD, I did order batteries and thee sent me wrong ones, after so many e-mails I decided to sent wrong ones back on my own risk. They did receive them and in 2 weeks they sent the ones needed. I was so exited, finally, when I plugged them in, they DO NOT WORK. Big Scam, and this is the best for the last. They charged my CREDIT CARD $635.00 for returned item. I regret clicking on this site, now I have to fight them back for money they had "taken" from me. The cost of batteries was $75 and charge for returned Item was $635.00, pure scam. When I checked the address, address is close to the border with Canada and no building out there. Obvious SCAM. I wonder why are they out there. Why they are not in jail for doing this. STAY AWAY do not repeat my mistake.
Of course the star as shown is a "must click", otherwise they deserve "rust".

STAY AWAY DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY> I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I needed a new power adaptor for my laptop. They said they shipped it a week ago and I still haven't recieved it. I bet if it ever does come it will be a cheap substitute that won't work. I fell for them and now I am so sad and out $25.00. I emailed them and asked when it would come and they sent me a phony tracking number for UPS. YIKES. How Worse Can it Get?

A SCAM
August 28, 2013

A SCAM - STAY CLEAR! I wish I could give this company a negative review. Like others, I ordered a battery, got sent the wrong one, the company refused to engage in any discussion about the whys and hows, even going to far as blocking me from being able to contact their online chat (I hasten to say I was nothing short of polite given the circumstances). In the end I returned the battery at my own expense, received confirmation of the return, in which they asked if I'd like to pay more money to receive the right one (!) or a refund. Of course I said I'd like a refund. It's now been a month and no refund in sight - I emailed them asking when it would be issued, and received no reply. Am not holding my breath. In all, I probably lost a hundred bucks, and am prepared to cut my losses. I just wish I'd googled the company first and found this site before giving them my money.
