Kohl's

After shopping at Kohl's for years, I've realized that the more you're involved in finding tips & hacks, the better off you'll be. Every bit counts - promo & coupon codes, Kohl's charge card discounts. It's awesome once you get the hang of it. Check tips below.

We had loads of problems with their credit card website. My wife uses their card for the discounts, and we pay it off in total. Except many times the payment doesn't register. Finally the last time we called customer service and the CSR was as rude and crude as we ever heard. So we closed our account. She thought that she had hung up on us, then went on to laugh and tell her coworkers "Good! I'm glad they be gone!"

In general, I'm pleased with the site. It's a great alternative to going to the store when the weather is awful. I have ordered merchandise a few times and it has arrived in the expected time. One problem (why it's not 5 stars) is that the rendering of colors on their website could be better. I ended up having to do a return and repurchase of bath rugs because the actual color as it appears in the store or on my bathroom floor was slightly different than the online version. I didn't have any hassles on the return, but I did end up paying for shipping twice.

Accidentally bought 3 gift cards labeled 10$! Only to find out it was 4 for 40$. Go to customer service and so sorry can't help less than 1 minute since I accidentally purchased these. Absolutely no help, ridiculous, should have known I'm a veteran went on veterans day only to find out their "sale" for veterans was for select merchandise. Such s disgusting ridiculous store. Oh I have kohl's cash! Hell no keep that you are so ssd.

I love Kohl.com! They are always very quick and send clothing wrapped individually in plastic. Nice touch. Their prices are great when you catch sales and they almost always have coupon codes out. I got a shirt for 13 cents once... lol. The only complaint I have is sometimes it'll say they have an item when they really don't and you won't know until the very end, right before you place the order. Then you have to input all of your info in again. Other than that, it's great!

Unfortunately, Kohl's has gone down hill. Things that you use to get their coupons to use on, you no longer can. Customer service doesn't know which way is coming or going, and I can say that honestly since I use to work for them in Customer service. I expect better. They shipped me six glass candles in a plastic bag. Of course four of them were smashed. The store that shipped them didn't seem to think this was a problem. I use to love shopping with them. After this last Christmas session, not so much.

I really like Kohl's, but don't like the restrictions on gift card use with promotional coupons. Sometimes you can only get savings by using your Kohl's credit card. You should be able to pay by Kohl's gift card anytime and with any combination of promotion. Other than that I usually find unbeatable saving during promotions. My favorite is receiving a 30% coupon by mail that can be used on any items including sales! Yes to You rewards are great too.

When I took off excess poundage and needed a new, less expensive wardrobe, I went to Kohl's repeatedly until I had achieved it. Kohl's lets you return items without a problem. So, if something didn't thrill me so much once I had it on, it was simple to return it. This is true of clothes, jewelry, appliances, The folks that work in our store are really nice. Personable. The merchandise is not super high-end, it is middle road. And, there is nothing wrong with that for most of us regular people. TIP: look at Kohl's online, too. My bathroom was recently redone and I wanted a great shower curtain with liner. There were 7 to choose from in the store. There were 751 online. Not a typo! I ordered 3. Free shipping (store credit card customer). I kept the first one I ordered and returned the other 2 to my store for credit. Can't beat it! Free shipping online. Return those unwanted items to your neighborhood stored. Easy-breezy!

I placed an order on a Tuesday... for two pair of childrens shoes. Paid $28 for two day shipping, only to find one pair of shoes arrived. The other pair is estimated to be delivered 9 days from the order date.

Called the less than helpful customer service only to be told this was my error. If you shop on the app, you have to select the delivery method for each item you purchase. They would not refund the exorbitant shipping since I did not catch it at the time of checkout or my email confirmation of the order. No where is it obvious that you check each item for the $28 rush shipping despite what common sense would conclude.

Business will be taken elsewhere and lesson learned. No shoes for an event tomorrow. Sad to see good customer service is a rarity these days.

First, this is of course a totally legitimate website. My only issues with their webdesign is sometimes it loads slowly, and sometimes it is hard to open links in a new tab. I've used both ship-to-store and ship-to-home and both work great. If you don't already have a coupon, be sure to check coupon sites as they often have discounts. You can return any online purchase to any Kohl's retail store (not sure how many days you have to do this). I've gone through the in-store return process several times, and have not had any problems.
