I booked my Bakit Air Malaysia flight ticket on kiwi.com.
Even though I canceled a month before departure due to personal reasons, I did not receive any refund.
Kiwi puts the blame on the airlines. They say there is nothing they can do because the airline cannot provide a refund. It's funny.
How can I not get a single penny refund even if I cancel a month in advance?
Doesn't that country have laws?
This was the first, and last, time booked with Kiwi. I contacted Kiwi via email three times, and via phone, to book my pet on my flight with West Jet only to be denied, "Service not available" Imagine my stress upon learning that my pet would not be permitted to fly with me. As it turned out, the only way for a customer to book a pet is by calling the airline directly. Not once did Kiwi communicate this and refused to share their supposed communication with the airline. (No one ever contacted the airline directly). There were other issues with my booking with Kiwi as well. Kiwi is incompetent and provides false information to customers. I hope they go out of business.
Never Never Trust kiwi.com. They steal your money. For anyone interested, I am ready to show my case how they stole 420$ from me. Changing flights. Charging for travel in process. Never but never trust Kiwi.com. Pay a little bit more and save money. I got charged twice. For one, I did not get an invoice.
It is even worse. Two month later(2/6/2022) they called(Yoseph) me to offer to refund partially one of the two payments. How rude! Don't get close to them!
American Airlines refunded my tickets to Kiwi and they did not send the refund to me.

I booked a flex ticket with Kiwi.com knowing that I would need to cancel or reschedule my booking. With all the if and but clause and not able to reach the customer service for more than 1-2 hrs. They said my ticket is no longer refundable and they will not refund a single penny.

Absolutely terrible. I booked a flight around a month ago from LAX to Seoul with an overnight layover in Japan. However last week, I found that Japan had changed its immigration rules and stopped issuing transit visas. This means I was no longer allowed to have a layover in Japan. After upgrading to the premium services, (30-ish $), I talked to many agents to try to find the best solutions. Many of them were rude and none of them let me speak to their supervisor. They claimed that they are "just a travel agency" and 2 of them rudely said that this was completely my fault and I should've prepared better. I will never book with Kiwi again, especially not after I just lost 1,000$.
Firstly, Don't attempt any contact with this company as they don't actually provide any contact number. They have an email system which doesn't work. I have been waiting for a email response for over 6 months. They are untrustworthy thieves. I submitted a refund though their refund procedure almost 2 years ago. I am still waiting for confirmation of the refund. After attempting to make contact with KIWI about my refund and finding no success, I have been forced to file a complaint with the department of transport, in the hope that an escalation of service will aid me. I'm worried for future customers that will fall into KIWI's money grabbing trap. I hope that those future customers will also file a complaint and that we can together get this scam of a company shut down.
If it was possible, I would't rate it even with 1 point. Do not book with kiwi! Sure you will lose your money. Because of the cancelled by the air-company flight, I've requested a refund on 26/03/2021 for a travel Berlin-Tampa, on 07/04/2021 for the second travel -same destination, booked again with kiwi.com unfortunately. Till now nothing is done.

A month before my flight I had an injury which prevented me from flying. Thankfully I had paid for the extra insurance. I did a request for a refund since I didn't go on the trip anymore. Its been more than 2 month and I have sent them 20 email. Kiwi has still not refunded me, and based on the email the are responding me with(the same one every time saying the refund is not in their hands), they don't seem like they will anytime.
Don't fly with kiwi, Its a scam.
Near the end of booking a pop up saying the price had risen by £100!? Money grabbing and causing false urgency to book! Upon clicking back' the price changed back to the cheaper price, no wonder when I then completed the booking the website had changed the date. They won't refund or change the flight, even though their website caused the error. Shocking customer service and policies. AVOID! Use someone like Skyscanner or someone with more reliable website and systems. Don't take the chance of being caught out!
One leg of our flight was cancelled, all they could offer was to book flight one day ahead for extra charge and you would have to pay for your own accommodations in transfer city, or that they would try to get you some money refunded in 6 months. Do not use!
Still waiting seven months after flights were cancelled for refund. They acknowledge that they have received the refund from the airlines, but months later still have not refunded to customer.

I booked a flight from kiwi, due to airlines it was cancelled and refund was made by airlines on same day but kiwi did not refund the amount even after 3 months. Even after providing proof from airlines.

I'm still waiting for a refund on a flight purchased through kiwi the airline cancelled. Kiwi was refunded by the airline but I saw nothing. Customer support has been useless. I regret ever trusting this company.
I booked a multi-leg international trip for May 2020 for Asia, to 3 countries. Of course, many of the flights were officially cancelled per notices to me, so the trip had to be scrapped. I submitted to Kiwi for a refund in late May. They said in writing the estimate was 3 months for my refund. I keep contacting them, starting at the 3-4 month point, about 1x/mo, and now it's been over 7 months and still no refund. They keep making totally lame excuses, claiming that not all the carriers had sent in their refund yet. Are they going to hold my refund up until they are all received? What is all but one send a refund, does that mean Kiwi will never refund me? You see how bad their reviews are on here. Stay aware from Kiwi.com! I will never book a new trip with them. They have completely lost my trust. Whether I talk to them on the phone, or by email, it's always the same... double talk, bs, and no results.

They cancelled my booking and offered me an absolutely horrible alternative that required an overnight stay and took 23 hours (instead of the original 4)! Otherwise, apparently I would have to buy a new ticket on myself, no refund offered. You can't even contact them because they use PAID lines, and if you want to speak with someone, they say "we will contact you", which never happens. AWFUL service!
Do not book with kiwi.com. I made a huge mistake of doing so. Booked my ticket but made a mistake in date so tried to contact someone for help. The process was a nightmare in which they kept sending me the wrong options. Turned out they read the request wrong and wasted weeks of my time. I gave them a bad review on trustpilot and it worked like magic-a guy calls me immediately. After trying hard to fix the dates for me (which didn't work and I had to buy an extra ticket with a different company)he asks me to remove the review. I decided not to do that until I'm done with my travels. It turns out I need to buy more luggage, so I wrote them but still no answer (flying out tomorrow). Tried booking into my account on their website but it doesn't allow me to do that at all.

Kiwi.com guarantee and customer service is the worst Turkish Airlines cancelled my flight three days prior to my leave date. Kiwi offered me a one-time free alternate flight without consulting me that would have gotten me to my destination too late for my cruise, this alternative had to be accepted within four hours or it would be voided. After contacting Kiwi customer service they told me they could do nothing only pass my information to a different section that would contact me back within 24 hours. This was now two days prior to original departure time and three more calls back to Kiwi customer service with no call back from their section that actually has the power to reschedule my flight. I ended up having to go directly to Turkish Airlines and reschedule with them as my travel agent "Kiwi.com" did nothing to help me, they already had their money.
We book a trip with them. Everything confirmed. No problem. But when I decided to check in, the app said that had to go to the kisk of the airline. That sounded weird as the airport for the departure had the option for online check in. So decided to call them. The answer was that the trip had been cancelled (first news) or it was not confirmed (they said yes in a previous email). Basically, I can confirm paying the doubled price or get a refund. All the hotels, trains, taxis booked. No more option. And, as they just intermediate, the regulations apparently don't work for them. Well, let's see what a judge thinks.
Following a year long struggle to get my money back from my cancelled flights and posting a bad review on here. I did the following.
1 - Signed up to a Twitter Account
2 - found the Kiwi.com page on Twitter.
3 - left my first and only tweet -where's my money, I know you have already received the refund from the airlines etc, etc.
To my utter amazement, this resulted in Kiwi contacting me the next day via email and confirming that my refund "has been approved and sent to my bank account". Checked this and I can confirm this is the case. So go on Twitter and tell it like it is if you want your money back, it seems that bad reviews on Twitter is the only thing they fear. Well it worked for me.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
