I booked round-trip flights.
After finishing first flight, I called in to cancel my second flight as this pandemic. KIWI said they can not do that and also no any refund or credit. More than that, I have to reschedule a new flight with them with its full ticket fee.
This is a bandit's agent !Stay away from KIWI !!!

I book my flights across Europe only for the time to change to a point that I would not have been in the country to catch the flight.
Kiwi.com classified this as a minor issues and refused to help. Stupidly I booked another set of flights that worked better with the time frame to get to Ireland for my mates wedding but didn't click baggage. Kiwi.com wanted to charge a $52 fee on top of the actual luggage cost for me to do that.
Customer service was so inconsistent, 5 responses from 5 people who conflicted each others responses but still refused to waive the handling fee for me to add luggage.
As a customer with all the environmental changes that can happen at any time I'm upset. It state I could add insurance after the purchase as long as it was in time before the flight which was not the case apparently. I booked my flight 3 months in advance and the mandates changed in the country I was flying to so I can now no longer go there. Kiwi.com won't issue me a refund and I'm fine with that but you should at least offer full credit of my purchase to use within the year to change to use toward another trip. I refund of 10 euros is disrespectful when it is uncontrollable when a country isn't allowing foreigners into a country for any reason. On top of that they have changed my itinerary multiple times of arrival and departure far out of my means returning for work. I will never use this platform again the trip still hasn't occurred and haven't heard back since I last chatted with their bot service.
Looks like Kiwi spends more on their Google presence, with trustpilot reviews and "100% genuine reviews", than on their customer service.
Kiwi re-scheduled my flight to 24 hours later. Had to buy a new ticket from a different platform because this was a business trip where I had to show up at a specific day. I claimed a refund from Kiwi, but they turned me down without reason.
8 am flight was cancelled found out when work up for flight at five. Had rebooked options were expensive but these stacked up against sky scanner so accepted. Although what I didn't know is if you accept this you don't get the refund from the cancelled flight. So they will keep the 600 dollar refund and I paid for new flights from them. All the reviews are similar horrible horrible company don't use.
I bought a ticket to Sofia Bulgaria from Frankfurt, the cost of the tickets was 243 euros, i paid with Paypal and then after several hours i didn't get my ticket but an email saying that my reservation needed to have a payment confirmation procedure, which is regular in case of credit card payments not Paypal. After asking for a refund, which they made very hard to do to gain time, they send me the tickets, which i cancelled because i had to buy due to emergency to a different provider which was the same airline, which provide me with cheaper tickets by the way and paid thru Paypal. When i asked for my refund they refunded me 27.63 euros!, and they said it was the airline policies. All this process in general took less than 5 hours! So its clearly a scam website. Be aware of it!
Very rude and not willing to listen, they just repeat the same scripted responses to your questions. You'd get a better response from a 3 year old, I won't be using this company ever again, I'd advise you to do the same.
My browser or their website froze during booking. I wanted to secure that fare, so I immediately booked it over a different platform.
After a few minutes I get an email of confirmation: the booking on kiwi.com had goon through after all.
Too late: I now have 2 bookings for the same trip. I immediately tried to explain and get a cancellation and full refund, but it was refused.
They say they contacted the airlines. I provided them with my new e-ticket numbers, so the airlines can clearly see that I have 2 bookings for the same flight! They would not lose a cent because of the cancellation...
Still, kiwi.com refuses to refund.

Flight got cancelled in March 2020. Applied for a refund, didn't hear anything back so I reached out again in August 2020. Customer service rep said they had actually never processed my request and that it would then be processed within 3 months. November 2020, they only send an email saying the refund will be delayed. February 2021, send another email saying refund will be delayed. I contact Virgin Atlantic and they said the refund was already sent, so Kiwi is withholding a refund that was given to them and that I have a right to. Outright criminal.
They are thieves! The conditions of use are not respected. It is been 7 months and they didn't refund me. They continue to blame the flight Airline which I contacted and told them they didn't receive any demand from Kiwi. I highly recommend sending an E. U complaint form to the E. U AIR PASSENGER RIGHTS when you can't get satisfaction with kiwi.com customer service. I am really disappointed the business is not reliable and impossible to get anyone by phone. The only way to complain is to send an email to them and their answer is always the same "not our fault... blablablabla..." This is what I did after many attempts to get my refund back...
Zero customer service so if something goes wrong it's impossible to contact anyone. The boarding pass was never sent to me. I tried downloading it but my booking never appeared on the website or app. I had to therefore pay for a boarding pass at the airport which kiwi offers to refund (according to their website). I tried to make this claim for a refund but the website/app only allows you to go further once you access your booking. There is no generic email address or contact number. Counter intuitive and frustrating to use. Will never be going through kiwi again. Not worth the potential hassle
Kayak sent me to this booking site. Having trusted Kayak before, I didn't investigate "kiwi".
Well! Kiwi is a the worst choice to book with. This booking was for a family member who had to travel across the ocean after her mom suddenly passed away... Now, in the most distressed situation, already at her destination, this family member has to deal with some sort of fishy process that was not required for the purchase of the ticket to get there. Kiwi is holding her money, but not issuing a ticket under the guise of a verification process, which cannot be completed because the site freezes. When attempting to call, she had to wait 50 minutes, and on minute 48 the connection dropped...
So, at this point, Kayak cannot be trusted for its recommendations.
I will no longer be using Kayak.
And will most certainly stay away from Kiwi!
Don't book a ticket with Kiwi.com under any circumstance. They are a no different from a scam website, especially when it comes to their Kiwi Guarantee.
They will postpone a solution and promise everything will be ok until the last moment, then say we're sorry we can't help.
In our case, our flight with Kiwi got cancelled and they promised everything will be fine, we just have to wait and call the airline directly. At that time, we could have purchased another flight for a reasonable price, but they insisted they will help us if the airline won't.
The airline ended up only proposing a refund and in the meantime prices for the flight went up 5x. Kiwi then said "oh sorry, we can only refund the flight at this point".
We lost the hotel, car booking for our 7 day trip because of Kiwi.
Please avoid and a flight from another agency that doesn't trick you into thinking they'll help but never do.
I will never buy from Kiwi.com again. Stay away from kiwi.com and especially kiwi + Ryanair
I had a terrible experience traveling with kiwi.com. One of the airline tickets I purchased was rescheduled hence delayed and it seemed like every step of the way was a hassle. Customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive, and I was left stranded at Dubai airport. In addition, their kiwi.com guarantee is a joke and I ended up spending double the money I anticipated as I had to book a new flight at the last minute from Dubai to London. I would not recommend kiwi.com to anyone and will not be using their services again in the future. I really wish I had seen all their customer reviews online before engaging with them. AVOID!
Booking #166 146 310 this company is a joke! I've purchased 2 flight tickets in September and unfortunately the flight got cancelled several days after the purchase. I've reached KIWI for refund and they informed me that they are waiting for the carrier to refund them. I've contacted carrier and learned that the money was transferred immediately back to KIWI in September. I've requested refund (cash) and since 13 October 2021 I haven't received anything…I've contacted them several times, same bulls*it over again that there is high volume of requests etc…they have my money more than 6 months on their account without any solid response about the expected date to send me my money back…. So fed up with this scam company- don't book with them, save yourself a lot of energy…
I booked three tickets from Spain to Germany, later because of some problem I canceled the ticket one week before flight.
Unfortunately the kiwi.com has returned only 10 euros from 224 Euros, and the 10 euro also the kiwi.com credits which we can't withdraw.

I had a flight change come up in my itinerary, change came from the carrier. No big deal, changes happen. The problem arose when trying to change my flight through Kiwi they wanted me to pay the full price (+50$) for a new ticket to replace the flight that got changed. How does that make any sense? If my flight gets moved again am I gonna have to buy a third ticket? Best to stay away from this company and book somewhere else, I ignored the reviews and its gonna cost me $300+
Do not book through this website! My entire airfares were loss. They said the cancellation was voluntary.
They inform I should call them before cancelled. But where is the phone number to call when I pull up my flight schedule? None. No note indications to warn of clicking the cancel button. Nor there was any drop down window that give choice of Cancellation. All that is visible is CANCEL/Refund, see the lower photo. That is what I clicked. It was the wrong choice they told me AFTER the FACT. They told me to go back to their website to search for other options. If so, why didn't they provide the warning at the ticket itinerary. When I pull up my itinerary online, the Cancel/Refund is clearly visible in bold black. I had picked the wrong choice. Now, they told me afterward, No recourse and they would not go back to the airline to negotiate for a partial refund or credit. Nothing, I have loss the entire airfare I have prepaid. No help at all and her English is hard to understand.
I have been stuck in another state because of kiwi. Their system picked and completely different flight and had me at 4 checked bags. I only had 1 bag. They stand by their policy and do not care about their customers at all. My niece died and my son was in danger in Chicago. Mind you I asked to change the flight so they can keep the money they wanted more money to do that from their error. Dont book with them PERIOD

Even though I canceled a month before departure due to personal reasons, I did not receive any refund.
Kiwi puts the blame on the airlines. They say there is nothing they can do because the airline cannot provide a refund. It's funny.

Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
