I purchased online ticket for other person using my credit info.
After the payment and confirmation for the fly, i found that the travel name is my name and not the travel name which i registered
I called immediately (2 minutes after the booking) and they told me that they have to charge me for the cancellation and for changing the name of the traveler.
The only option to cancel the ticket is via online which you cannot complete unless you agree to pay $75 (probably US $) for such cancellation
First there is a consumer protection legislation which permit cancellation of airline ticket within 24 hours without any penalty/fees
However at the beginning i sought that such online mistake can happen but after i google about this JustFly scamming practice i am sure that they program they online system to change the name of the travel to the name of the payer
Additionally, after i canceled the ticket from JustFly and i purchased directly from the airline i found that the airline did not charge for booking a seat and JustFly charge $15+ for same service.
Please find a way to sue and red flag such online Company
Thin twice before doing any business with them especially now when rules change all the time. Their customer service is NON existent. I got a credit from them to use for next flight since we could not go to Europe from USA. The credit had the expiration so we had to use it this year. Then the SCAM happens, and I see lots of people where frauded. I could not book online but had to call only to find out that I have to pay additional $1350 for FARE DIFFERENCE (called Swiss airlines and even they told me their prices were not that high). I should have eat that $1000 credit and forget about Just FLY. Then my tickets were cancelled and they told me that I did the cancellation online and in order to keep the tickets i have to pay more! I could not process that information in my head, not to mention those people are RUDE to the highest point, they do not CARE at all. I spend hours on the phone and luckily fixed that with airlines. They said they were sending change info to Just FLY but no one even responded to them. MY BIGGEST ADVICE--DO NOT USE THEM if you want to have peace of mind and be sure that you can talk to customer service in case you have a problem. They also filed for bankruptcy so be CAREFULL!
Doesn't get much worse. I booked an early morning flight with Air Transat through these guys but when it became time for online check in the Air Transat site would not take my confirmation. I tried a couple of more times with no success. In the late afternoon I tried Justfly customer service but got no answer so I tried the bookings line. They answered immediately but were less than enthusiastic once they realized that I didn't want to buy anything. The next 7 calls were transferred to another line where no one answered of course. By the 8th try I was getting rather excited so they were magically able to connect me with a supervisor who tried for well over an hour to get me checked in. By this time I cancelled my meeting with clients as I had no idea whether or not I would have a flight or be able to make it to YYZ on time. Better at 10pm than 4am. Shortly afterwards I was told that there had been a "glitch" and that I should be able able to check in. Very nice but at that point I really had no use for the flight so I requested a full refund. They replied that I didn't cancel within the required time and I hadn't purchased insurance, Of course not. When I booked they didn't tell me that they were going to screw me around so thoroughly or I would have purchased insurance. Any company can sell me a flight and grab my money in a flash. The real measure of a business is how the deal with customers when there is a problem. On this polnt they fail miserably. Save yourself the aggravation and book with someone/anyone else.
I book a flight for a business partner. The payment went through. Then I got an email saying my booking was cancel. So I called Just Fly to see what happen. So first they asked me to try to book it again because it could have been an error. The booking with through, then again got another email saying my booking was cancelled. Just Fly blamed the airlines but, wouldn't call the airlines to fixs tge issue. Instead, they gave me the airlines number and said have a nice day. So I called Spirit, and they advised me that the booking was cancelled by travel agency, after payment was approved. Since they didn't collect the money, they didn't owe me a refund. Mind you I couldn't rebooked due to my money being on hold for two booking. So I called Just fly with Spirit on the line. Of course Just Fly started lying saying there nothing they can do it was the airlines, the airlines representive started to speak and the Just Fly agent disconnected the call when she advised that the booking was cancelled by travel agency. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was rude and unhelpful. Said there nothing they can do even though they cancelled my booking. It will take 8 day to get my money back. This was the worst experience I have ever had. They won't give a discount for cancelling my booking and that's messed up. This was a business booking and just fly has me looking untrustworthy due to there mess up.
This is the second time I book through Justfly. First time was a bad experience. Second time was a horrible experience in which is costing me $2000 extra to get to my destination. In March 2016 my family and I booked tickets to Mexico for Thanksgiving week. Some us were scheduled to arrive on the same flight, but returning on different flights/dates. One of my cousins flight was cancelled in August. I called 3 times to confirm if our flight was cancelled. I was told no and that flight was still operating.
We are scheduled to leave Nov. 20,2016. My flight along with some of my family members flight was cancelled just TWO WEEKS before we are set to leave. No email, phone call, or text was sent to let us know that our flight was cancelled. The only reason I knew is because I checked my credit card statement and saw credit on my account. My other cousins called and asked why they were not reimbursed and were told that they would be reimbursed in 4-8 weeks. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH JUSTFLY. THEY MUST BE A BROKER COMPANY THAT LIKES TO FALSLY BOOK FLIGHTS, CANCEL THEM, HOLD ON TO CUSTOMERS MONEY AND PERHAPS EARN INTEREST ON THE HOLDINGS.
I'm a simple guy and that's how I like things, I'm getting married in Hawaii in December and needed to book a flight so I went to just fly and it was easy for sure in and out, simple the way o prefer
Booking with JustFly was great it offered a great price for our group flight to DC in the Spring and gave us a variety of times to look for the one that best works for us.
