I booked a flight yesterday. I bought the flight insurance for a set price. I got an "urgent" email this morning telling me to contact the company because something about my reservation had changed and may he compromised. After waiting on hold for 27 minutes I was told that my flight insurance premium was going to cost me more money or would be canceled.
At this point I was outraged. I don't care about the less than $10 increase. What I care about is the scam of the whole thing. I told them I wanted a complete refund and I would go through another company. Of course, they told me this is impossible. So, buyer beware. I'm taking full responsibility for this because I wanted to save money on a flight and I didn't do the research on the company before I booked the flight. The customer service rep that I spoke with was very polite and helpful. I felt bad for him because I can imagine he hears a lot of complaints.
My overall review would have to be Easy. It took me a matter of just a few minutes to book my flight to Texas where my Mom was just admitted into the ICU of a hospital there, where she lives. She was found on the floor and was in bad shape. All my thoughts were about her. Just fly made it easy!

Pay for a ticket late in the evening... my credit card was compromise... received an email stating that my credit card was not processed de next morning. Followed the instructions of the email paid with an alternate credit card. Called customer service to verify the status of my ticket. Supervisor was helpless and I was forced to buy the same flights at a higher cost.
All this occurred during and 12-18 hour time frame.

Answer: It doesn't matter. They will do NOTHING. Turn it in to the BBB and also the Consumer Protection Agency and call your credit card company to dispute the charges. They are FRAUD
Answer: A class action law suit is very necessary! Read over 5,000 people paint $200.00 to cancel and never recieved a refund, I personally lost over 2k

Thank you for taking the time to review our services. When your reservation was confirmed, both the fare and insurance should have been withdrawn at the same time. Due to credit card issues, it seems that we were unable to process the payment for the insurance. By the time a new credit card number was provider, the premium for your insurance had increased.
