I purchased a Rekluse slave cylinder that claimed to be a perfect bolt up replacement. Unfortunately, the fitting to the OEM slave cylinder utilizes a flare fitting that seats over a nipple and the Rekluse requires a tapered fitting. Visited multiple stores to include hydraulic hose making shop and nobody has the fitting nor does Rekluse.

The instructions that came with the Vance & Hines mufflers said to remove a 5/16th suspension bolt attached to muffler.being replaced. It was a 1/2 inch bolt. Instead. Plus there was another 1/2 inch bolt further at the back of the old muffler that was not mentioned in the instructions.at all. I suspect the instructions were for a softail instead of for the 2022 Freewheeler that I own..

Well, went to install the grips today and lo and behold, they would not fit in the housing when trying to close them up. But, I have a J&P store within an hour's drive so I went there to return them. While there, we (employees and myself) tried a few different sets from Avon in assorted housings and the same issue happened. Will not close on the switch housings. Easy return, but just a total PITA!
Satisfied, I recommend j&p cycles to other customers.
