I checked out an exhaust and it had a price range. I put my bike info in and it shows it will fit and the price of the item. When I check my cart after adding it to my cart the price is (higher). I don't know if its an issue with the website or they are being deceptive. It is a shame as It used to be a great place to buy motorcycle parts.
Very poor customer service, didn't offer a return label and didn't refund me the full amount. Plus it cost me 56 dollars to send the item back and I lost out on 40 dollars that they didn't refund me for shipping. Not impressed when you're spending a lot of money. Will go else where for parts.
I ordered 5 products thru JP Cycles. They were shipped in 2 packages via UPS. JP soon shipped after ordering. There was no problem there. The 4 items in 1 box arrived 2 days late by UPS. The box was mangled and partially opened but all contents was intact. The problem was the 2nd package which was a motorcycle tire. It never arrived. It was lost by UPS. A claim was filed after about 10 days. JP policy is they would not reimburse me until after the claim was settled, approximately 4 to 8 weeks, possibly longer.
I ordered in good faith. JP Cycles picked the shipper. Their policy is JP shipped it and now it is out of their hands. It's my problem now to deal with UPS. Now the money I paid for the tire is in limbo. I might lose the money, about $180. A reputable company would reimburse or send a replacement and eventually settle with UPS.
Needless to say, I will never do business with this company again for obvious reasons.
Ordered 2 tires 7-16. Eta 7-21.7-21 comes and fedex still hasn't received the tires from jp cycle. Will never do business with this outfit again. Can't deliver as promised and customer service is too incompetent to address the issue in a timely manner. Buy elsewhere unless you plan on having your $#*! down for an indefinite period of time!
Ordered 2 tires it showed they shipped but they never made it to UPS. Called they don't have a clue what happed. Tells me it takes 2 weeks to get my money back. Don't waste your time with this company. Takes 2 minutes to pull my money out of my account so it should take 2 minutes to put it back in. Sorry excuse for a business.
I paid to ship items I ordered back to them because it was missing parts. They couldn't send me a shipping label cause it's being shipped out of Hawaii. ( from chat rep) So I paid the shipping. Shipped it out May 25 UPS tracking notification delivered to J & P Cycle on June 2. Customer service manager said it was never received and it's June 18. Lie! When I spoke to the manager he lied about everything and questions me how do they know if I really did put the items in the box. What kind of company says that to a customer. My answer " ask the employee who opened the box" The customer service manager is a con artist tried to keep my refund from me. Never ordering from J & P Cycle AGAIN! Find a honest company that respects its customers, don't order from this company. On their website customer service is a top priority. THAT DEPARTMENT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT BOSSES! Customer service manager didn't want to help me because it's a Friday night and it's late on June 18. (Exactly how he said it to me) I did send them an email that morning but they don't respond, so I had to go onto the online service chat to get help and it was later on in the day. I had to track down any help. Again top customer service is a false. Best way to get answers is on the chat line. Don't you think as a customer I've been waiting long enough for my refund! I would like to say the managers name but I'll just leave his initials DR.
Often parts advertised are not in stock with either an unknown lead time or delays of many months before being due into stock. After 5-6 years of generally good dealing with this company I have moved on to more reliable suppliers.
I ordered a sissy bar for my Harley roadster. Part said fit and paid $400. Then next day they withdraw another $400 so I called them. Was told the first time is a hold and second on is payment. Never heard of that before and then told they will refund in 7 to 10 days. Plus I paid to get faster and was 2 days late. Well, then I get part and looked great BUT then I opened in instructions. Well, big bold letters says "will not fit 16 & 17 roadster. So called again and they insisted it did til I got ahold of a tech who saw instruction that said it didn't. So I asked for a return slip to take to UPS store and they sent me blank ones. Ended up paying $16 for shipping back to them. Refund will probably take 6 weeks.
Only giving J&P cycles a one star only because it requires me to write a review. I would definitely rate this business a -5 star. Previously had shopped with J&P in the past. This time! Will definitely be my last I ever do business with J&P bull$#*! cycles again. Purchased a tire for my bike on the 25th of May. The site stated the tire was in stock, it would take 3-4 business days to ship. I called on the 1st of June they stated they would ship it out that day or the next day after. Not shipped. I called on the 3rd, they said there was a back order and got the tire on the 28th. They said my order was top priority and was going to ship out that day. It was not sent. I called on the 4th, they said they don't understand why it wasn't shipped out but the order was top priority and was going to be shipped out ASAP. It's the 5th of June, the order has not been shipped out. Please... if you can, I'm telling you from experience with this company! Do your research and find another company to purchase from! J&P cycles are crooks and gives two $#*!s about customers.
I initially cancelled my order, was told I could not because they go through a warehouse and they work quickly to ship out the order.

All the products I received were actually what I wanted, nothing wrong with the quality of their products, the problem was actually getting the products, I finally received my last item a day ago, after almost 3 months. My initial order contain 7 or 8 items, I receive two of the items in a reasonable amount of time, but after that I had to contact the company 5 or 6 times, they kept giving me the run around, saying that the items either shipped or were on back order. I would receive emails stating my items had shipped, but after a little investigating it turns out that a shipping label had been created, but to items had actually been sent to the shipping company. I do not recommend buying anything from this company online, unless you want to wait months to receive your items.
This is one on the worse companies we have ever dealt with, my husband ordered tires thinking it was out of Canada and find out it is only in US, that is false advertising and had to pay duty on the tires and then they take them to the wrong house, never ever will buy from these a**holes again.
Don't pay the next day delivery if u order on Thursday nite u will not receive ur part til Monday. 35.00 for next day and didn't get it til Monday after 12noon
First off I will say I have ordered from J&P cycles a few times this month and all my products arrived as expected no issues. I made a large purchase this time of 600+ dollars and I notice they charge you the full amount of your purchase at the time of the transaction and then they charge you again as each item you purchased ships. So now I have been charged 1200$ total for a 600 dollar order and I have negative 400 in my account until the actual transaction posts... had I known I'd be double charged for any amount of time I would not have bought from them. So unless you can afford to be without double the price you're expecting to be charged for then I would shop elsewhere.
I ordered a set of tires for $344.24. They put a pre authorization hold on my bank for that amount TWICE. Three days later they shipped the tires but they hold on $688.48 was still on my account. I understand putting a hold on the amount of the purchase but twice seems fraudulent to me. I called them and was told that was their normal business practice and eventually the second hold would be release. I will never order anything from them again.
I purchased something in January 2021 from jp cycles I called the next day and cancelled it today May 2021 they took the money out of my bank account I called them to tell them it was cancelled he said there is no record and there's nothing he can do and it is my fault I said there was nothing I could do about his employee not putting a note on the file that it was cancelled and he still said there was nothing he can do. What little money I had in my account is now gone it is also -$900 he would not help me in anyway and told me it was my fault but now I do not want something when it is not convenient I had this cancelled months ago
My package came from louisville ky. 8 hours away from my home in Morganton Nc.It has taken 6 days so far to reach a town 30 minutes away by ups. I call ups because it has been there for 2 days I asked if can pick it up. I was told rudely no I can not it has to be delivered by the post office now. I was told Ups was delivering it. I think I will buy my parts else where..
I see a lot of negative reviews, but my experience with J&P Cycles was great! Prices were decent, shipping was fast, and the parts were correct. As long as they continue to do these three things, I'll keep coming back.
I ordered a gasket set and lifters for my bike and got an order number waited for a couple weeks and called them they said the order is nowhere to be found. I then went and ordered the parts a second time and the same thing happened. So i will not go back orders in the past came but i keep having the problem with this order and the first time my card got charged for the parts
We are writing this as we have ordered 7 or more times from them in the last 4-5 weeks. We are in the customer service industry and I am shocked at how they treat good customers. Like they do not matter. We have gotten incorrect parts. Parts that they say are the same as we are requested, Parts we have requested and paid to be overnighted that do not show up on time, or we are told lost in transit and must wait days for. People need to go back to being kind and admitting they made a mistake or wrong and go back to making it right with the customers. When you give noting but excuses to the customer it infuriates us more. We do not want to hear it is someone else's fault or shipping issues. If you can't deliver what you promise it is your problem and not someone else's. We know you may have credited back the overnight shipping and we do appreciate that however, lying to the customer when the item never left the store. We have to wait for an investigation and may not have a part unit a week later before you ship out. What is the point in promising overnight when you are the reason, we did not get it the next day? I cannot imagine how much your company has lost due to the credits for incorrect parts shipped and shipping credits. Lying to your customers and not assisting us to track the part is upsurged and unacceptable.
Your current online reviews are exactually who you are. We do not normally write reviews as we know sometimes it is out of your control. However, in these cases we feel that you could have been more professional. We think you need to have a lost prevention department and not make your problems our problems as a customer. I bet if you all did this you could save your company millions.

The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
