The Bell Scout Air Helmet is good quality and has adequate padding around head. The ear area is a bit hard but may feel that way for me as the medium size is a bit too small. I've always worn a medium but is a bit too snug. I deflated a soccerball, placed it in the helmet and inflated till it expanded the helmet a bit and left it for a couple of days. This has improved the fit and am able to wear it with no pain. I'd suggest getting a size larger than what you normally wear.

I ordered brake shoes for my motorcycle. Just went with standard delivery. Email said that I would receive them on Tuesday. Later Email said I would receive them Thursday. I actually received them Wednesday lol.

I ordered a battery from J&P cycles, upon the arrival of said battery I was surprised to the lack of weight of this box. There was no battery in the empty box. The box was best up, ripped, holes in it and almost recapped. So whomever came in contact with my battery from FedEx obviously didn't respect the rules of transporting a fragile, acid filled, object. The box looked like it went twelve rounds with Mike Tyson in the 90's. After a couple phone calls to J&P cycles the battery was put back into motion to send another one my way.
Can you guess the condition of the box on the 2nd attempt? Yup, twelve rounds with the Great Iron Mike Tyson. Seriously though, it looked like it seen the front line at D-Day. Obviously this is gonna bring up suspicions wheather or not the battery didn't take any internal damage. Glass plates in the battery cracked, broke? It wasn't leaking anything, one good thing I suppose. So I put the battery into my motorcycle and tried it out. It turned the bike over as intended, but the lingering suspicious thought is in my mind. Is the battery at its full potential cause of the damage to the battery & box. I cannot say fault is entirely on J&P cycles, but hiring FedEx to deliver your fragile items is.

This is a very comfortable helmet but trying to change out the face shield from a smoke shield to clear was a nightmare! I first bought this helmet in the store and the sales guy broke the clip trying to change out the face shield so he ordered another helmet for me online that was delivered to my house. Two friends and I tried to change the face shield but couldn't get the smoke one off, even after watching two different "how to" videos online several times. I took the helmet into the store and it took three different sales clerks over an hour to figure out how change it out. Even so, the clear shield wasn't installed properly and I ended up fixing it and putting the helmet back together in the store myself because they all walked off and left me standing at the counter by myself. Seriously, it shouldn't be that hard!

The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
