Not what I expected

I bid on two necklaces and exited about the size on the necklace on the picture. It wasn't until I pay for the bid that I notice the weight of the item. When I received my order my disappointment was even bigger, the item was not what I was expecting. I did test it and yes, it is real gold 18k but the size is not of my interest.

There is no place that gives you the shipping price and it seems you charge whatever you want to.
I paid far too much for the items I won that were all shipped in the same box, not to mention some ridiculous additional fee.
The jewelry is actually quite cheap and disappointing.

I purchased 3 solid gold rings and 4 silver rings.
They only sent me the silver not the gold and lied about it costing me to over draft my account and fees.
They are so full of crap!
And quality diamonds They advertise on there auctions are low grade not worth a cent!
Took rings to a pawn and jewelry shop both said tha same thing!
Jewelry room are crooked sons of a *itches!

“They only sent me the silver not the gold and lied about it costing me to over draft my account and fees.”

“First, we have searched our customer database from 2017-2023 and found no customer by the name CHRIS A. With a similar purchase.”

“Second, the first image of the ring is shown in a jewelry box. We do not offer this type of jewelry box. This is NOT our jewelry box and we cannot see the front view of the jewelry.”

“Third, Looking closely, you can see the earrings has a clear plastic backing. All our earrings do NOT have a big piece of clear plastic as a backing display. We do not have any clear plastic for our earrings. Therefore, we can confirm these images of jewelry do not belong to Jewelryroom.”

“Fourth, all our jewelry from the factory will have hallmarked stamps, such as 10K or 14K for metals purity and RT stamped as our factory company source.”

“Because it’s impossible to tell how pure a precious metal item is by simply looking at it, only official assaying can guarantee standards. Assay Office laboratories will test precious metal purity using the latest technologies, including x-ray and laser analysis.”

Customer said,
“my bank causing me to over draft my account and fees and fines I had to pay”

“Our company does not hold any payment or credit card info. Therefore, there is no access to additional fees or charges after the payment transition. In some cases that may lead to this situation are… Customer may not be aware that if their credit card is a non US Dollar payment, customer will default to agree to any exchange rate fee by their credit card provider. The customer may also get an extra fee from the credit card company if they exceed their card limit.”

Conclusion,
As these two images are shown in this review. We now know the jewelry box do not belong to us, we also know the earrings with clear plastic backing do not belong to us. Plus we have no database by the name Chris A. We can confirm that this reviewer did not purchased through JewelryRoom, until this customer has more proof to be shown.

We understand some customers may mistake us as another company. These complaints could easily be written by our business competitors.

Although, the post office no longer hold its shipment record and data, but our memo shown shipment was done on Jan. 7,2022. Scam

This is a scam I purchased an item and after nearly a month they still have not sent tracking info. They do not have the items they are selling and they put in bids to make you bid more. I lost an auction but they contacted me afterwards to say I won. This site is a scam. Do not use it.

"Because Gail is our new buyer and with a shipping cost total of $200, Jewelryroom has emailed her twice for email and address verification for being the first time buyer."

"A week after she ordered, on May 28,2022 Gail finally replied to our eTicket...

"I still have not received tracking information about my purchase. I would have expected my purchase to be sent by now. Please explain. I hope this is not a scam."

"Jewelryroom messaged her back, mentioning shipment may take a few weeks due to the global virus and customs difficulties."

Gail replied, "I bought this item a week ago why has it not been sent."

Gail then reported to her credit card company for her refund.

"10 days after she had ordered, on June 1,2022, Jewelryroom asked Gail to cancel her reported case. Otherwise, we cannot ship her item, while the case is open for reverse funds. But Gail insisted Jewelryroom refund her money back immediately."

"Please note, whenever the buyer has an open case with a credit card, the seller does not have the ability to refund any amount during the open case. Cases may take up to 60-90 days upon review. Which means we are unable to refund or send any goods to customers during this time."

"Eventually, she has all her money back. But the whole situation could have been avoided if she had been able to answer our email timely, so we could ship her product. Shipping may have taken a week or less, but from experience, we have to mention it may take a bit longer because of the global pandemic."

Why do JewelryRoom needs to verify buyers?

"Operating for over 20 years. We randomly verify new buyers, and this procedure only applies to first time buyers. Any repeated buyer will not be asked to verify again."

"This action is to reduce any cyber crime making use of your credit card in hurting innocent people"

"Overall, we do not feel it was fair for us to receive negative feedback. Her order would have been shipped if buyer and seller could logically work together."

I have never seen anything like this. This business should be SHUT DOWN. Really BAD, BAD, service. They do not respond to emails. The phone number changed. Items not as described. Fake bidding information. The owner should be held accountable. DO NOT BUY or you'll be sorry as I am.

I don't think they are very good when it comes to business. They don't hesitate to take their payments. But they definitely procrastinate when it comes to sending your items. I have sent multiple messages to their customer service. All they tell me is that they are waiting for New York postal service to ship the items. I have googled them and no company comes up for their shipping company. Highly ridiculous!

Customer Candis R. Purchased a total of 8 jewelry items from JewelryRoom between the month of August 2021 til November of 2021. She is very upset about the delayed shipment.

JR Service Team,
Yes, customer Candis did make purchases from JewelryRoom. Orders shipped on-time, but few of her items got delayed.

Candis has also contacted us 8 times between August 29 to December 2,2021, although our staff each time has replied to all of her emails within 24 hours. Unfortunately, we may not have handled the situation correctly.

Therefore, we sincerely apologize for the delay and mis-handling the situation.

We have no excuses, no explanation, nor does the customer want to hear our excuses. Bottomline, we did not deliver her orders timely. We apologize and are sorry for this matter.

But what actually happened to her orders?

During that time, our diamond vendor from New York City had items to be sold in JewelryRoom. They were having issues with U.S. customs and shipment during the heavy global virus period. With the new shipping restrictions and rules, which has caused many interruptions to our transition.

It is like eBay. Usually the vendor will list items at our auction, and then ship them to JewelryRoom for verification. When the auction ends, we will ship the verified item to the winning customer.

What have we improved due to this situation?

Because this situation has occurred a few times in the past, we now no longer list an item for our vendor into our auction, if the product is not in our hands.

We have fine tuned our system since last year 2022.

Itms are fake. You pay thousands for fake jewellery that peels off after a month. Disgusted by them! Sadly, you only realise your mistake of purchasing from them, after the transaction has been made and your cheap pieces reach your shores and start to peep off. I tried calling and returning the jewellery but to date have had no response from them. This is now over 2 yrs. Totally disgusted by such fraudulent people and organisation.

Have bought 2 pieces from Jeweleryroom.com. Assuming genuine gold - yet to have checked. Both arrived quickly, but rather ring is thin and not great quality. The ‘diamond' pendant is also tiny.

If you are thinking of buying, then check the stated weight of the jewellery. Always low grams. Be warned.

Probably won't buy from them again.

The Jewelry rooms concept is a good one. To bad they are not so honest about the quality of the jewelry they sell. The shipping is outrageous as well. I totally stopped purchasing from this site. Careful the quality is not real in many pieces of their inventory. Ex: A real 1/2 c diamond is advertised with and up for bids. You win it then diamons test it. It's not real. Most of my purchases where fake. Go somewhere else and get real. I'm shocked they are still in business.

Customer Nevs K has only been making purchases for 8 straight months since April 2017 to Dec 2017 and did not request any exchange or refund during that period of buying. Our chat history with him has never shown any sign of dissatisfaction with our merchandise. Great customer, thank you! "

“During these 8 months, Nevs is very happy with a total of 2,383 bidding activities and won 346 auctions. But only 266 auctions were paid. Which means, 80 of his won auctions never intended to pay, that’s about 25% unpaid won auction.”

“During this time, we have repeatedly reminded him, any unpaid auction will not only hurt us as a seller, but also robb the chance of other buyers of getting the item. Not only that, placing a bid with no intension of paying will only raise the price for another buyer who may end up winning. Our company is really against false bidder or an unpaid won auction. “During this period, our records show Nevs has also received 21 coupons for a total amount of $201 discounted, each coupon discounted between $8-$15. Our help agent may have given him these coupons to compensate for his complaint or other small issue which he may have during those moments.”

The reason why each jewelry is about $10 is because most of his purchased items are Lab Created Stone and many are brass or plated Silver. To readers, if you are planning to visit Jewelryroom and worry if the stone in auction is fake or real. Pay attention to the auction title and description. It will clearly mention that the stone is LAB CREATED.

There is a small percentage of buyers on a lower budget when buying jewelry. Not everyone is willing to spend big dollars on a sapphire ring. They might prefer getting a lab created sapphire instead.

We are not saying buyers cannot post their feedback, but sometimes it will be more fair for you as a reader to judge if you have a clear picture of both side stories.
