I have an order placed on Jan20 and few days later was marked as shipped on the status page. On Jan 27 received email order is on back order for March. Very unreliable seller, avoid!
Won't be ordering and thing from jegs again... they order my parts for me Sent the wrong ones and then told me to pay for shipping... I should have just ordered from local auto parts...
3 weeks ago I ordered header back exhaust for my truck, last Thursday I got told the parts had shipped out to me,, to nite I get told the company that is shipping the pipes won't even have them until end of April I would have liked to been told the truth when I ordered them,,, thanks for holding me up Jegs
Fitted the starter and the drive gear is slow to return which causes it to drag on the flex plate, called Jegs and they said it was a faulty unit and to return for an exchange which is fine but they want me to pay all shipping costs back to the USA and the return to the UK which does not make it financially viable for me which I suspect they know, so I'm left with a useless starter. Regarding Powermaster I've had 3 of their starters over the last 8 years there won't be a forth.
Ordered headliner and found out couple weeks later couldn't get eta. Waited couple weeks canceled order and said 3 to5 days money back on card. Waited another week and said got it done and wait 3 to 5 days. Day 6 got email they got it done wait 3 to 5 days and checked status and invoice # invalid. Called customer service and guess what they said 3 to 5 days. NEVER BUY AGAIN
I will sooner go without whatever it is i need than order from Jegs. I spent multiple thousands of dollars on an order, and they royally f-ed just about everything up. Not to mention their order status tracking after the fact is utter garbage. They split orders up into many smaller "invoices" that cannot easily be tracked, and I had to diligently add up all the separate charges on my credit card to find they over charged for some things, and did not include the current sale savings for money off the order. Their order tracking afterward also does not give you quantities of what was ordered, and also does not accurately reflect the shipped status or if there is an available tracking number. Then to top it all off, the most basic of the parts ordered they claimed were back ordered (Denso spark plugs and some GM exhaust gaskets) that are in stock, cheaper and easily sourced from ANYWHERE ELSE. Never, ever, again will I deal with Jegs, and I cannot stress enough for anyone else to look elsewhere. Similar orders from their main competitor have gone without a single issue.
Very bad experience with jags would never want to deal with them again very slow to return money took about 15 to 20 days when they messed up the order
I ordered some parts for my truck and one of the items didn't fit my truck they wanted me to pay return shipping I feel like that isn't right just so that everyone knows when you shop on there website shop by vehicle and you get the wrong items you are responsible for return shipping I feel like that is not even right I have ordered several thousand dollars of items from them and they won't even right there wrong I will never order here again summit racing here I come
Never received the item and customer service basically told me it's my fault. Out 300$. I would not recommend. If something goes wrong, you're screwed.
My headers were very poorly packaged, and suffered damage during fed ex shipping. When Jegs asked for a review by email they didn't like what I said lol
Paid alot money for reman engine. Missing first 15k.emission codes.found lh head exhaust valves seal in heads walking banging the lips of head.leaking by 1an3 cylinder beside one another by17k.Took a few yrs find intermediate misfire.The cam timing marks on cams dont alighn on dark chain links and the sproket marks.very piss poor workmanship.out of warranty by a month.35yrs plus mechanic auto and heavy-duty.I recommend buy a junkyard motor before these guys unless want throw away money.Never get another dollar from me!
I ordered a set of headers from jegs and they price matched a competitor. The headers were wrong. So i returned them and told them why. When jegs received the wrong headers back they just took it upon themselves to make an order and send the correct headers. Double dipped my account and caused all kinds of issues. On top of that they originally told me they would price match then went back and charged the original price. When I called them, I was told the competitor could not sell the headers for that price, per the manufacture. THE MANUFACTURE IS WHO TOLD ME ABOUT THE SALE!

Here's what I wrote. Please tell me if I'm being unfair...
What a Pain!
I purchased this wrap last Fall and just now had a free weekend to pull off the header and wrap it. I watched the DEI instructional video on U-Tube, pausing it at each step so I understood how the wrap was correctly applied. The wrap unraveled faster than I could wrap it around each pipe. And, even though I meticulously followed the video instructions for measuring, I always came up short and had to start over several times. Don't believe the "... 1/4" overlap..." on the video, you will need at least a 1/2" or you will end up with 'bare' spots where the wrap doesn't cover. As for the stainless steel ties, good luck getting them tight enough to hold the wrap. Also, 35' is not enough wrap to cover all four pipes of my 2.3L Ford engine header on my project. I got only three wrapped, so now will have to buy more to complete the job. Which, right now, looks like {Expletive}. So, maybe I'll do something else.
Purchase a hybrid battery off this company six months ago bought a 3 year extended warranty $1600 total,battery after six months is completed shorted out wont run car! For 2 months been trying to get a hold of customer service for replacement, left several messages got one call back and things still are nowhere! BUYER BEWAARE BAD COMPANY! There trash I made on order on November last year never got a tracking number I called like 4 times nicer got a tracking number now they said it was deliver on the 16 called again lady said on the 24 of December and the last lady I talked to on the 18 if it was on December 24 I was of town for Christmas never got a tracking number and now they said contact PayPal I called PayPal they said they can do anything no more so I lost 2600 just like that order from summit don't waste your time with jegs

Ordered 3 parts on 12/9 that were sold as a set. Received box 1 of 2, that had 2 items in it. Looked through tracking. I was missing box 2 of 2. Stated it was in Ohio, then for 3 days in St. Peter's MO. Staying delivery date unknown. Next to Sauget IL for 4 days, with delivery date unknown. I called the Sauget office, which is within miles of my home. She thinks there was a similar box with no package label, sent it back to "goods".
I called Jegs on 12/18, explained the situation. I was reassured to have a follow-up email by the end of the day. That did not happen. I called then next day. They were waiting for FedEx to investigate the tracking. Who knows how long this will take. I asked for them to resend my already paid for item. Just to be told NO. Once it's located in FedEx, then it will be delivered to me. All I want is the part that I paid for. I did not purchase this from FedEx. Jegs should send a new one and get the "located" one from FedEx. This was supposed to be a surprise Christmas present for our son.
Paid for next day delivery. May or may not be Jegs fault (maybe FedEx screwed it up) BUT it is Jegs fault that it took 56 min on hold before I got customer service! That's pitiful. They say I will get it tomorrow now, I NEEDED IT TODAY that why I paid for next day shipping!
I bought a fan controller 160$ and it worked fine… for about 2hrs then it started turning off and on I called the number on the directions they ran through a check with me the people that made it and advised me it was faulty and to contact company I purchased it from for a return or replacement I called them once they answered you call Jegs they'll never answer not once I hope this helps someone I got screwed bad customer service you can't do this to people Jegs I hope you read this and make it right Thanks

Answer: They don't understand the products they sell. Parts they recommended with won't work at all, could possibly work, or might destroy your engine. They won't take responsibility if something goes wrong.
Answer: I actually didn't have any issues with getting a representative on the phone either time I called them. It was the 1 hour+ wait time on hold that was extremely aggravating for the exchange. The 2nd time I called, I was helped very quickly, and the 2nd representative was way more professional and polite, compared to the man and woman I dealt with on the first call... please hold... please hold... please hold...
Answer: Good luck asking for an "expert" from JEGs. Also enjoy the "Help is right around the corner" message repeating itself while you wait on "hold". Almost like their phone system doesn't go anywhere when you ask for customer service.
