You can get amazing deals from jcpennhs online when you combine sales and jcp credit coupons. Only downside is they sometimes will cancel your order. I have had several orders cancelled because I was able to get $300 cookware for $100 with sales and coupons
Has a lot of cute stuff that are reasonable. Has a greeting person at the door at the store in Bay Plaza in the Bronx. Good atmosphere.

I placed an online order with jcp.com for several dresses and pairs of sandals to take to Hawaii for a family wedding. I paid for expedited shipping, and when the package didn't arrive, I called jcp.com to find out what happened--only to realize that I had forgotten to update my address! The package was shipped to my old address, but even though it was my fault, jcp.com credited me back the money and then reordered the items for me, along with expedited shipping. I got NO hassle and am now expecting my order in two days. Thank you, jcp.com!
Jc penney has good value and multiple designers now in their stores. When they went to no sales they lost customers but now that they have sales again good shopping is available again.
I have shopped at JC Penny for years for bed sheets, curtains and other bed and bath items. It is a great store for that type of merchandise. JC Penny also has good jewelry sales.
I shop here frequently. They always have sales, coupons & promotions. I have the credit card, which I was able to get with a very low score & got to build up credit pretty quick with it. I have never had a quality issue here. The only issues I have had were wrong items being shipped to the store. It happened 3 times, 2 out of 3 was the same product. I ordered a onesie for my son with a pirate skull on it & it came in as some snail graphic. I figured ok honest mistake, and re-ordered it in store with the cashier. Then a few days later, it came in wrong again, so I just got a refund. If it wasn't for those orders being wrong multiple times, I would give 5 stars.

My granddaughter and I spent some quality time shopping for back to school clothes for her online (I am disabled so I can no longer shop at the store in person). I found the prices on line at JCP quite expensive but me settled on a dress and a skort for her and bought the rest at Kohl's which proved to be much more reasonable in price. The next day I received an email from JCP stated that the dress that we had chosen was on longer available. My granddaughter was heart broken. So a couple days later I returned to JCP.com to purchase her second favorite dress and found the first choice is still available online. I called JCP customer service 800 number to investigate. I was told that they have a new system and instead of the order being cancelled that it was on back order. The JCP system sent the wrong email and they had no intention of informing me by email or phone of their misinformation. I find this concerning since my credit card was charged. A week later I received a email that the dress was ready for me to pick up at JCP store in the home department and that I needed to bring my credit card to the store to pickup the dress. I called the local JCP store in inquire as to why the credit card was necessary to pickup the dress as I had already paid for it. My plan was to have my daughter in law pick it up I no longer drive due to my disability. I inquired if proof of purchase from my email confirmation would suffice and she replied that only my credit card used on line would be acceptable even though JCP had already charged my credit when I originally brought the dress and skort. I believe as consumers we vote with our money. I will never purchase from JC Penny again due to their poor customer service.
Don't waste your time ordering from this site. Your order will continuously be kicked back! There is no way to contact these idiots via email. You'll have to call in and waited for an extended amount of time to speak with a rep only to receive the same email kicking the order back!

Bought my mom 2 sets of dishes. Bought my towels... bath mat... my husband jeans and a beautiful evan picone jacket! This is THE ONLY PLACE i purchase my sheer caress hosiery. Thank God they have started carrying that line--again~. I love the store... both in store--and online!

Ordered a sleeper couch. Paid an extra $900 plus tax for an 11 inch AirDream Mattress. The couch that was delivered only had the 4 inch Basic Mattress. We have spent the last month on hours on the phone getting the run around. Now they want us to increase our credit line to pay for a replacement couch. No way.
The salon here is great! Been there a couple of times, My mom always see Mary, and she's hair had never looked better. They listen and do what she need, not what they want to make money on. For me, they are professional and they gave advice what to do.

I ve been to j. C. penney at least 6 times in the last 6 months. I can never find my size. They have no selection! They really need to revamp thaat whole dept! I always end up having to order online anyway!
Answer: I believe that there is a policy related to coupons. The clerk did look up your. Credit card. If you had been shopping at a grocery without your coupon it would have been the same. It is nice that at times they have made an exception for you which was good customer service on their part. Perhaps you had a new clerk that was still training or very busy. You should not blame the store for one instance with one employee. You also should not expect special treatment just because someone has bent the rules in the past.
