Unfortunately my wife loves all the bells and whistles this program gives email. Over the years I have bought four different licenses for different machines on our network for IncrediMail. It has always caused me problems trying to keep it going or causing Windows problems but lately it has gone beyond belief! Every time it is started there is a crash message! Started on one machine and the exact same message has now spread to all machines running IncrediMail.
Have been using Incredimail since 2003 and have a "lifetime" key. This key no longer works because they now charge an annual fee for its use. It is really not "free". Don't bother contacting them as you will NOT get a response. The U.S. Attorney
General should shut this company down. Tell your friends not to purchase or use this product. Thunderbird works just as well if not better!
I am a paid user.
In the past they were very serious about helping. Almost immediately.
Now you get an automatic answer, that it is busy and they will come back to you ASAP.
Which never happens...
Crashing all the time. Sorting Folders doesn't work.
(E.g. I have been busy sorting manually folders for hours, only to find out the next day that the Folders were mixed up again)
I've had incredimail for many years. Yes, at times there was trouble with customer support but I think with the way some people f***up their computers they must have had a difficult time trying to help people. Perhaps they just got tired of trying to help fix errors not of their doing. I am incredibly sad to see them go! It's like losing a best friend... sad, sad.
These people are out and out crooks. They charge your account for purchases you didn't make, just out of the blue! Then make it darn near impossible to get a refund for the money they stole. I see I'm not the only one with this problem. Don't authorize ANY payments to these thieves!
I was a premium subscriber, paying for spam protection until about 3 weeks ago, when my subscription ran out. It said I needed to contact them to renew it. I have emailed them twice about this in the past 2 weeks with no answer. I can no longer use Incredimail. I have over 20 email addresses for various businesses, and I receive 200+ spam emails a week, if not more. I cannot weed through all of this garbage now that my spam protection no longer works in Incredimail. I am switching to Mailbird and will give them a try. I have had multiple issues with Incredimail over the past 2 years, and each time I contact them, there is never a solution to the problem. Save yourself the trouble and get a better email program than this.
I have used Incredimail for about 10 years and for the last 3-4 I have said when it comes up for renewal I will change it. So why haven't I? Finding an alternative that is equally priced (multiple email addresses) with spam blocker is not easy especially when you read the reviews and questions previously asked.
Initially it was very good, I didn't even mind paying the annual subscription because it worked but it has never been compatible with any windows product since XP!
You used to get a response to a problem within hours, but not now in fact its easier to get an appointment with The Pope! If you are lucky enough to do so it rarely corrects the problem without having to go back and forth several times until you eventually get someone that does have a 'fix' that works.
I am reviewing alternatives with renewed vigor at the moment, I cannot carry on with this nonsense.
I used Incredimail for years with no problems. Within the last year, nothing works right and my licenses/codes don't work. Any contact with them results in an automated email reply about how busy they are. I never get replies. If I do get replies, it's as if they didn't read my initial inquiry and give me info that isn't pertinent to my problem. Eventually is was told I needed the GOLD package AGAIN, so I purchased it AGAIN. I got NOTHING in return, but they took my $$, of course. After over 6 weeks with several inquiries and no replies, I called my bank and my bank reversed the charges for me. I'm done! It's sad because they had a good thing going, but somehow it went bad quickly.
Been a faithful user of Incredimail from the early days. Used to be a Premium user and the service IN THE PAST was excellent.
Somewhere along the way, they lost their way. No longer a Premium subscriber due to total lack of response to issues and bugs that have found their way into Incredimail over the years. Total lack of support and they are obviously no longer interested in their product or their users.
Gave them 5 stars years back but today would have difficulty in giving this lost company a 1-star rating. Shame because they have some nice features and if only they could find their way back, I would be back in an instant! I can only hope and/or wish for a complete company turn around with Incredimail2.
I had a lifetime licence I bought 2002, I still have my licence number but it won't accept it, I have contacted "support" if you can call it that 4 times with an answer. For years i used it without problem ( or very small one's) this latest 2.5 is a total disaster, emails won't send, Emails rules don't work, some email don't show the content and so many crashes too many to count. I have reinstalled 5 times in the last few months. I have downloader Thunderbird it's ok but a very complicated learning curve, but reliable and the stock front screen text is too small which as far as i know you cannot alter I just want my incredimail to actually work..
I didn't give only 1 star because I like the emojies and the stickers and all the other little accessories you can use. However, as a mail software, it's far from good. You have to pay 30 dollars only to get a spamfilter, a service that is free on every other mailserver. Make it free as well, then we'll talk further.
What kind of people have taken over incredimail and messed it up so. They just blocked my account because I asked to have my licence code reinstated after all I bought that and it was for life supposedly.(Stay well Clear from these new Sharks)
Incredimail crashes on me multiple times per day. Aside from the crashes, it doesn't function correctly on a regular basis. I have had this program for many, many years and don't recall but a few problems until this
Spring and Summer. I write something and it will not send, I don't get all my messages, and am totally upset by the inability to get any help.
It appears that Incredimail is now a DEAD PRODUCT.
Many of the serious technical problems have NEVER been addressed.
NO SUPPORT whatsoever!.
NO response to support requests.
NO product updates.
I advise anyone still using Incredimail should step over to another email system (eg Thunderbird) as soon as possible before you get serious problems that THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
I have used incredimail since 2002, but this last couple of years with them has been a nightmare. I have re-paid for this service 3 times, because it would not work and I can't get support to get back in touch with me... last time I will pay for it. I was a lifetime user and had paid for a lifetime membership, but whoever runs incredimail now will not honor that membership, so I have paid, and repaid for a service that completely sucks now, no support help, and I can't even get the applications I paid for. After this subscription, I am going to let them go their way, and just use regular e-mail. Too bad incredimail that you are getting such bad reviews, what was once a great program is now a defunct operation.
I have been a long time user of Incredimail. In fact, I purchased the "lifetime" licenses for both the program and the gold gallery. I've lost my licenses before and all I had to do was contact support and I had them back. Well, it happened again when my computer went down for the count and I had to purchase a new one. I contacted their "support" people and they acted like I was from another planet. Over and over I told them it was a new computer and I could not recover my licenses, but they kept sending email after email telling me to open a file that is nonexistent. I finally ended up purchasing the program again only to find out that neither the program or the gold gallery is for life and they now expect you to purchase the program every year. Please do not support this new company. They are not reputable and have ruined a great program experience.
After years as a one of the most incredibly important / valuable arrows in our relationship marketing quiver, Incredimail has become an incredible abomination, over the past couple of years. Current management is hopelessly incompetent a totally untrustworthy. Someone should by the proprietary rights to the system, at "firesale" prices, and turn this "sow's ear" into a "silk purse" (filled with cash) once again.
It is the case with most programs that offer smiles and emotions for your email, msn... etc. Most of them are pretty enough to get the user install it and they slip some spy ware or other malicious software / code on the user`s computer. I have seen this quite some time having to fix the computers of various people. Using Spybot search and Destroy may help, but in general avoid these services.
No customer service at all-Used to be a decent program but it Stinks now! Paid for a Lifetime Premium & Gold Gallery and was told I had to purchase again. What part of Lifetime don't you crooks undestand! You will not see another dime from me.
It's " complaint first then spam them!" Ever since I wrote my opinion of them I have been getting regular emails from them with their " good deals ". How convenient is that? Could never get a response before! Wow now that's " marketing ", wouldn't you say. Sneaky but probably legal...
Answer: Try it again now. If they don't automatically go in, send an email to purchases@incredimail.com. They will respond and re-activate your license keys. They just did mine again.
IncrediMail has a rating of 1.6 stars from 64 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with IncrediMail most frequently mention and customer support. IncrediMail ranks 148th among Email sites.
