IVE USED INCREDIMAIL FOR YEARS - I LOVED IT - BEST ANIMATIONS ANYWHERE - I HAVE HUNDREDS OF CONTACTS ETC - BUT - ALAS - IT STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY. I UNINSTALLED IT AND REINSTALLED IT TO SEE IF THAT WOULD HELP. IT DIDNT LOAD - KEEPS SAYING THERE IS AN ERROR - I TRIED CONTACTING THEM - FORGET ABOUT IT - THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT STINKS. THEY DONT REPLY. I SWITCHED TO YAHOO MAIL AND OUTLOOK MAIL. I HOPE INCREDIMAIL COMES BACK SOMEDAY - I MISS THEM.

Why? Oh! Why? Am I now getting problems with IM2 in W10. In particular with stalled outgoing mail and occasional freezing. Previously to W10 and IM2 no major problems it was a great client. I may have to junk it I'm afraid. Currently looking for a new program, but may not be easy to match original IM.
Anything in the pipeline to offer me and and it appears a lot of other users hope of an imminent solution? Ron North

I've used Incredimail for many years but it somehow has gotten all out of whack and I've even taken it to a computer store & tried to get help but they couldn't figure it out. I'm am going to have to uninstall it. Wish I could find a better service

I have been a lifetime member almost since they started and it was a great program
Then it changed hands to perion and has not worked well since then
I would like to get the old version back as it did not have all the junk in it to burdon down the os... as a lifetimer and licensed for most of their programs I just plug away and sent a crash report every 10th crash... about once a day... I don't think the company has the intelligence to fix it... they just have the drive for the bucks and not the drive to gain a good reputation so they could make better bucks... sorry for the management that does not learn from its customers... you will get zero stars for effort and 1 star for not trying to reinvent it as I like the way it works when it works... K2

I installed IncrediMail onto my computer. I didn't like it. I contacted IncrediMail re: removing IncrediMail from my computer. I followed the directions offered at their website FOUR TIMES and could not get rid of IncrediMail.

What is my recourse?

Ain't what it used to be

Had for 12 years no problems! Sad I liked it before but the last year it never works. Followed the repair advice and it worked for one night and now its crashing again. GARBAGE! Boo hoo!

And the best thing I can say about the IncrediMail service is... YUCK!
In the beginning it was the absolute best program ever. Which also included a Spam Blocker. Then without any notice what-so-ever they took the Spam Blocker away. If I wanted it back, suddenly I had to pay a yearly fee for it. Then they had the Photo Animations which were awesome. Oops - they took those away with no notice. The program does not always work well anymore. If you are lucky enough to get a response to your complaint of a problem, they basically tell you "Too bad". That is NOT their exact words, but that's what it boils down to. When I purchased my Lifetime membership, I thought it meant I would never have to pay for any of the add-ons that I already owned, but that is not the case. It runs poorly now and is getting worse every year. I can not even download anything from the Gold Gallery anymore - which I paid for. I do love the Emoticons, E-cards, Letters and Sounds (Although as time goes by, they keep removing more & more Emoticons, Letters and sound effects) If they keep it up, there won't be much of a choice left. IncrediMail WAS the best, most fun program I have ever purchased, but now it is just a costly frustration. So sad!

Caution: installing Incredimail could expose you to adware or malware. Despite this site containing a verified TRUSTe Seal, McAfee Seal and been a Microsoft Certified Partner - many are claiming this site is dangerous. The WOT community, overall, has given the site a "satisfactory" rating, however, the past 5 pages have comment after comment with a 'bad rating', saying that the site contains "Adware, Malware, annoying pop ups and more". The Norton Safe Web Community have given the site a 3.6 rating, but have confirmed a presence of malware also.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

I used Incredimail when it first started and it was fantastic, so different and fun to use. You paid for everything with a single fee which was for life and never experienced any problems until they were taken over and since then things have changed dramatically. Gone are all the great features it originally had, if you want them now you have to pay for them and each one is a separate fee and not for life but on annual subscription. I don't know what they did, but from the moment it was taken over things started to break down. Crashes, skins changing whenever they felt like it, syncing problems, loading problems and the list goes on. I recently installed 2.5 and the problems just got worse and worse and even though I paid for no ads, ads for Incredimail were being seen on emails sent out. Support is utterly useless and Incredimail is unfit for purpose. It has a mind of it's own and full of problems that no-one seems to be able to fix. Incredimail's new owners are just money cows. Unless you want a very basic email system you have to pay to enjoy a feature even though it may not work! May as well stick with your Gmail/Yahoo/Outlook etc.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH INCREDIMAIL!

If you get Incredimail, just know that their technical support is non existant. It is simply a joke. I have been unable to use it for 8 weeks now at my business, where I use it to make a living. After about 4 days I swapped over to Outlook 2016, which actually worked out better for me as other programs such as ACT and Quickbooks interfaces to it. I had to buy a converter program to convert my emails from IM to Outlook, which took me about 2 days, but now I am up and running and I actually like it better.

So to answer your question of why I am complaining about my 8 weeks of non use. IM doesn't know I am up and running on Outlook and I am just seeing how long and what kind of bunk and "busy work" they keep giving me to do. I am documenting all of the emails I receive and send to them to see if I can have them published in a "you've got to be kidding me" type book or website. If I put them in here you would laugh until you cried. Here is one of their responses. I have removed the date and my name, but it was a few days ago. Also, the problem has been for 8 weeks that they keep giving me ways to get the files they need to look at, but their ways of getting them has not worked.

I am not sure how you read this, but I think is is a nice way of calling me stupid. So, with that being said, I would definitely guide you away from Incredimail unless you want to take the chance of nicely being called stupid by someone who thyself can't fix their problem.

I have had IncrediMail since 2008. Yes, lifetime licences. I transferred it to a new computer in 2012 with no problems. In 2015, I was getting ads and they helped me. That being said, Gold Gallery wouldn't work in Nov 2017. It took 6 weeks to get help and they told me to delete and reinstall licences. I deleted but couldn't reinstall. Wouldn't allow me. Of course that gave me the free version with the ads. So in frustration I just purchased a new copy of Gold Gallery for 24.95. Duh, still ads. What I needed to purchase was the upgrade. And like everyone said, it is now only a one year license. So I emailed them to cancel the Gold and they answered right away. I had to send a screen shot showing I had deleted it. Yes, they gave me a refund. However after spending days and hours looking for another email program that has the ease of the contacts, setting up groups, folders and ability to sort columns, I am at a loss. I have one group of contacts that would take me hours just to put in another program. I sent contacts to Gmail and that was horrendous. Some were sorted by first names and others by last. And I would have to set up my groups again. Folders only transferred partially. Windows 10 Mail does not have the ability to make a group of contacts. There was no way to sort columns by name or date. I spent a whole evening looking for programs that were as easy to use and found that setting everything up again (10 years worth) would take forever. Also by deleting IncrediMail, I would be deleting Gmails as the accounts are linked. So I am just purchasing the upgrade which gets rid of the ads. I hardly ever use the graphics. I figured $25 a year is worth my sanity. No company can exist with giving something free for a lifetime. Probably why they sold it. With a new license, I assume I will get support. I also have Sane Box which costs $99 a year which sorts my incoming mail into folders that I made, so I can just look at those folders rather than sorting a whole bunch of mail every time I open my inbox. It also sends unwanted mail to the "Black Hole" never to be seen again. To me, time is money. I will keep an email program that I know and love. As someone once said, "Would you rather be right or happy?"
