Thank you for doing copies of what I sent to you. I have gone through them and they are all copied as is. I'm sorry I misunderstood that you just copy.
Now, when my box with old tapes returned, I can say that I feel glad and satisfied with the quality and ease of viewing them on my computer or any other device.
I had help from iMemories 'Danille, who was very helpful in helping me to download. She was friendly, patient, talked slow and soft as I have had 3 strokes and she was very considerate.

I was more disappointed that pleased. They should have been more upfront about when fees would be charged and specifically what for instead of charging as they went and the customer incurring them as they "wait". Also providing an email of explanation of how things would work in the end of choices would be nice. Had to wait and call to finally get my originals back. I would compare to other places like Walgreens and such. Cost me north towards $400. Not sure if it was best vendor.
The whole process was very easy. When the digital videos came back they were easy to share. I am looking forward to trying to organize them and edit them and I memories app. My only complaint was that I had to pay to ship the videos back to me after they had digitized them just so I could throw them away. I wish I'd been offered an option there to dispose of them.

It was amazing to see old videos converted to digital. I have been unable to watch most of these videos due to the phasing out of VCR capabilities. These videos have been moved, placed into storage and closets for years and we could only hope they weren't damaged beyond any viewing capacity. I feel that the best results were returned to me in digital format and my originals were all returned safely and well packaged. I have located some more video tapes which I will be sending in for conversion. Thank You iMemories.

Overall I am very pleased with my experience and that I received my memories digitally. The only thing I wished is that some of my old unlabeled tapes that I put into the box were either duplicates or were blank, but I was still charged. I would have preferred someone call me and ask or that it would have been obvious that I didn't need a "blank" or duplicated memory. I could have saved quite a bit.

Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to submit your review. We do offer a blank tape check for. 99. We can confirm if there is content or not. Several of the VHS tapes were TV content which is copyrighted and a lot of the time there is home movie content between TV shows. Unfortunately with 8MM tapes, people would transfer to VHS so they could play them with ease. Unfortunately we run thousands of tapes every day and cannot stop and compare footage for customers. Some videos had a ton of traffic so I called customer service and they redid it. The 2nd time, they came out beautifully. I am very happy to have done this and have memories of myself as a baby and his deceased grandparents to show him one day when he is older.

Family loves having access to old family videos that had been gathering dust in attic. They were helpful when I called and everything was just like they promised.
I found several pictures copied backwards from the negatives. All negatives were identified. This was a big order and I'm curious how many other pictures are backwards.

I personally delivered three old reels of film to iMemories. I told the receptionist that I knew that one was wound backward but I didn't know which. When the tapes were processed one was backwards. I contacted iMemories and they redid it immediately at no extra cost. I had expected to have to pay because the fact that it was backwards was very subtle. I was very impressed with the service. I plan to take maybe 50-60 tapes and approximately 200/300 slide to them. Their response to any inquiry I have is very prompt and satisfactory. Great customer service.
